The relentless drive by the Sri Lankan armed forces is gathering much momentum as their ground /air attacks through Tamil Tiger defensive lines as well as lethal bunker busters on their secret hideouts and clandestine enclaves have wreaked havoc amongst them in what has become an all-out Government drive for victory in anti terrorist campaigning which has continued for three decades.

In the meantime the desperate propaganda campaigns of the pro LTTE elements continue on many fronts as their frustrations increase and the Tamil Tiger seems to be very close to extinction within its unnatural habitat of Sri Lanka which would certainly augur well for the Nation they encroached upon as well as the dangers they have been posing to the region for all these years and a multi faceted accomplishment for the Sri Lankan Armed Forces at the end of it all.

These are also inauspicious times for the overseas Tamil diaspora, the LTTE cohorts in Tamil Nadu and the Tamil National Alliance who are fast beginning to realise that the days of their champions of terror's are surely numbered and are resorting to pulling all stops towards circumventing what may seem an eventuality in the very near future albeit a futile effort as the world is fast becoming aware of the mendaciousness of the LTTE terrorists and the role they have been playing towards augmenting globally related terrorists problems.

Suddenly there is a change in the rhetoric cum trend of thought amongst many LTTE supportive pundits who once bragged about their boys capabilities towards acheiving their professed Eelam and de facto Tamil homeland within Sri Lanka, none but a created, as well as a well orchestrated myth to a greater part as annexation of a few square mile of territory in the Northern and Eastern Parts of Sri Lanka by locals who turned to terrorism in collaboration with the mainstream LTTE has not thus far made their ill conceived dreams come true and are now running for cover and being decimated in these areas they falsely believed was their homeland which will hopefully be fully integrated into lands occupied by all Sri Lankans rather than any given group of exclusive Tamils with a false claim to it!

Rather curiously to add to the change of thought a few of these ill advised pundits of no real fixed abode relative to their envisioned 'Tamil Homeland' and scattered globally seem to have adopted, a dialogue relative to what distinctly sounds like a reference to Tamil Nationalism as though they have not learned their lessons in bragging about such a contentious sounding issue from the standpoint of the majority Sinhalese and the only fervour towards Tamil Nationalism perhaps one which can be coined as existing further north of the Island Nation across the Palk Strait in a place called Tamil Nadu where all dissatisfied Tamils seem to waft in the manner of the Monarch butterfly towards its inevitable destiny where perhaps all this zealotry and fervour towards Tamil euphoria which cannot contend with what the Government of Sri Lanka is prepared to offer them need to reassemble towards objectives.

It seems to have been a prudent move, all things considered, that the Government of President Mahinda Rajapaksa announced its formal withdrawal from the Norway.brokered 2002 ceasefire agreement with the LTTE by envisioning it as a worthless "non-functioning" entity and a mere platform of proviso for the terrorists to regroup as that concept has now been truly pre-empted towards carving huge inroads to their terrorist means and enhanced the conviction amongst many believers that it has perhaps been the only route towards bringing a real and lasting peace to the country depending on how it is implemented.

A peace which will not be compromised by a terrorist presence and one acceptable to all Sri Lankans alike notwithstanding the ambitions of a miniscule minority whose designs to incorporate their own agendas stand out as opposed to a lasting peace in Sri Lanka which they could never contend with, being terrorists as well as terrorist supportives they factually are where the need for elimination looms as a distinct priority!

The present Tour de Force which has taken the decision towards affirmative action through the military elimination of the LTTE terrorists is a team of individuals well equipped towards the task ranging from the heads of the Armed Forces, the secretary of Defence and the CEO of the Armed Forces the Hon. President all of whom have voiced their collective opinions towards the conclusion that that the so called ceasefire was worthless towards effectivity and suspect by way of legitimacy that was in the minds of many analysts initiated by a former leader/ leaders who were more interested in their own agendas relative to their quest for power and a ploy which eventually backfired on them paving the way for concerted LTTE attrocities which continued until the present status quo decided upon their course of actions which seem ominous for the terrorists to put it mildly as they are in reality a doomed lot with nowhere to run!

They do however appear to have a smidgen of hope towards their survival in the form of certain foreign agencies of the United States, The United Nations, Japan and certain entities which are better described as apologies to Human Rights Oraganizations who in the name of human rights appear to be more terrorist friendly in viewing the mood of the Sri Lankan Administration as detrimental to the civilian population as they lobby in favour of human rights while throwing an effective wrench in the works of a Nation fighting terrorism with a huge measure of success to show for it!

This opposed to the rank violation of human rights and cruelties to humanity perpetrated by the LTTE per se rather than any real link to Sri Lankan Officialdome seems somewhat ludicrous which the terrorists probably revel in and believe is in their favour albeit in a lost cause and mistakenly!

What seems to bypass the somewhat befuddled brains and blinkered vision of these do gooders as they continue to pose huge obstacles which in reality are detrimental to the well being of the Nation rather than beneficial is that they should back off towards going after the real violators of human right in other parts of the world as well as perhaps in their own backyards while leaving the Sri Lankan Administration in collaboration with those who see the true nature of the situation in Sri Lanka towards the real means of securing Sri Lanka's Sovereign and Territorial integrity which is what this hopefully is all about! !

President Rajapaksa's drive for a military victory as the only way to end the civil war appears to have become very effective from many perspectives as it continues to gather momentum. It is no real secret that India and the U.S. are now being co-operative with the Sri Lankan Government and its Armed Forces as a logistics as well as equipment provider even in some small measures where Russia, China, Pakistan, Ukraine and the Czech Republic are supplying a full compliment of arms ranging from warplanes to artillery towards Sri Lanka's effort to wipe out her terrorist scourge.
