Tamil Nadu Politicians Are Supporting Terrorism By Their Protests Against The Sri Lankan Government. Here's Why !

Presently certain Tamil Nadu politicians led by the misguided M Karunanidhi and his somewhat puerile sounding band of protesters are demonstrating against the Sri Lankan Government's Military campaigns against the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam, a terrorist group in the North and East of Sri Lanka.
These demonstrations calling for the Indian Government's intervention are not only in direct violation of international laws which govern and protect the sovereignities of nations but are an embarrassment to their own nation of India whose responsibilities lie more in the direction of support for Sri Lanka's war against the terrorists which is almost at a point of successful accomplishment of eliminating the terrorists.

In this respect it seems the bounden duty and responsibility of India to apprehend and incarcerate these individuals and indict them for their criminal liabilities as supporters of terrorism rather than tolerating them simply because of their Indian Identity more renegade in the eyes of the world it must be noted.

These protestors duplicitously and in a conniving manner to camouflage their true support of the LTTE terrorist led by the psychotic Velupillai Prabhakaran have taken on the call "to protect Sri Lankan Tamils" as the excuse for their demonstrations hardly realising that the transparencies of their real objectives namely the protection of the terrorists are beginning to show in full light to the world where even the Sri Lankan Tamils have spurned Prabhakaran and his terrorist group as non- representative of their own needs which they rightfully believe can only be addressed by the Sri Lankan Government.

So what are these protesters going on about and why are they making such a spectacle of themselves where even some their Indian compatriots with any sense are now beginning to condemn what they view as ignorance and stupidity on their part who eventually are more than likely to bring disrepute to India in the eyes of the world and it is upto India to take appropriate steps to remedy it being the great democracy India is while synonymously deterring any attempts on the part of the protesting Tamil Nadu politicians which would otherwise bring great discredit to India.

It has been documented many times over by many analysts and legislators around the world and presented in many formats to portray the realities of the situation in Sri Lanka as one which involves a violent militant group calling themselves the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) who are waging a terrorist campaign in Sri Lankain in order to create a separate state.

The following analysis needs to be overviewed towards justification of the objectives of the Sri Lankan Government while also portraying the futilities of the Tamil Nadu protestors and that their real intentions might be a final attempt to protect the LTTE terrorists.

"The LTTE, while masquerading as a liberation organisation, has for almost a quarter century spurned all efforts at securing peace and continued a sustained campaign of terrorism against successive democratically elected governments and civilians of Sri Lanka. People from all ethnic communities - Sinhalese, Tamils and Muslims - have been the victims of this terror. The LTTE is now banned in Sri Lanka, India, the United States of America, United Kingdom, Canada and Malaysia. Other countries are expected to ban the LTTE soon following the events of September 11 2001, when the world woke up to the reality of international terrorism.

The gruesome brutality and wanton destruction that the LTTE has unleashed in its campaign to create a separate Tamil Only state in Sri Lanka continued until they were disrupted to great effect by the Nations which banned LTTE support by diaspora and set legislation in place to intercept illegal funds for the cause of LTTE Terrorism.Until now much of it was sustained by funds generated abroad by extortion from Tamil expatriates, and from trade in arms, narcotic trafficking, smuggling of illegal immigrants and money laundering. This has in effect either been greatly reduced, disrupted and possibly completely eliminated barring a few infiltrations due to the expertise of the Law enforcement agencies around the world which has criminalised LTTE activity and support thereof.

It needs to be presentd to the world that the LTTE has never stood for anything good or legitimate and has continued to spread murder, mayhem and destruction in their many massacres of innocent civilians, prominent Heads of State the most prominent being the murders of Indian prime minister Rajiv Gandhi and Sri lanka's Foreign Minister Lakshman Kadirgamar in a long list of many political dignitaries and military leaders carried out in the name of Tamil Liberation and self determination which is a mere self conceived myth.

By reminding the world that these attrocities did infact take place and must never be forgotten it is also intended to invite attention to a situation which will prevail if the peace loving people of the world continue to remain silent and unconcerned and permit carte blance for the premeditated intentions which promote demonstrations by the likes of Karunanidhi led Tamil Nadu politicians as it would be a travesty of justice and rank neglect of maintaining justice in a terrorist plagued Nation which would obviously spill lout into the world if it already has not!

Case in point towards this needs to be noted that the U.S Government made the following commitments while banning the LTTE and all its fund raising activities from its soil, in case the blinkered Karunanidhi led pro LTTE coalition missed it which should effectively shut them up unless they wish to persist towards their own chagrin that "The steps we are taking today of cracking down on fund raising for terror and of banning terrorists from our shores are steps we urge other countries to take within their jurisdiction. By steadily reducing the habitat in which terrorism thrives, we can hope to make terrorists first an endangered species, and ultimately, an extinct one."

Those who support it need to be deemed terrorists also!

It is no secret and common knowledge globally today that the LTTE have been feeding the world with lies about discrimination against Tamils in Sri Lanka. They would make you think that Tamils cannot live among the Sinhalese and Muslims, but it is a fact of life that 52% of the Tamils live harmoniously among the Sinhalese and Muslims outside of the Northern and Eastern provinces the LTTE are falsely suggesting is their 'homeland'.There has been no Tamil homeland in Sri Lanka for the nation's entire existence and as noted in many information sources which have researched it, "As a percentage of the population, there are more Tamil Doctors, Lawyers, Government Officials and Top Civil Servants than any other ethnic group in Sri Lanka. Statistics show that the Tamil people in the country have always been among the most privileged minorities in the world
Historically Sri Lanka has been the home to the Sinhalese for over 2,500 years and Tamils started arriving about 1,000 years ago from India. Although invading Dravidian(Tamil)armies have controlled parts of Sri Lanka for short periods, there has never been a Tamil Homeland on the island of Sri Lanka. Historical documents prove this, but Tamil separatists are trying to re-write the history of Sri Lanka in order to justify their claims for a monoethnic 'Tamil homeland'.

Synonymous with this it has to be highlighted that what the Tamil Nadu politicians are attempting to do is twist this concept around as a tool towards sustaining the terrorist activities of the LTTE rather than provide any recourse for the Tamil community of Sri Lanka towards their needs, which responsibility lies in the hands of the Government of Sri Lanka which despite travails and ardours involved are doing everything possible towards looking after all minorities including the Tamil people.

It also has to be noted importantly that there were vast numbers of Sinhalese and Muslims living in harmony in the Northern and Eastern Regions of Sri Lanka, before the criminals of the LTTE commenced their campaign of terror. That the LTTE has ethnically cleansed the Northern parts, and most Eastern parts of Sri Lanka of Sinhalese and Muslims by killing most of the families living there and driving out the others is no exaggeration. There are statistics to prove it. Populations of entire villages, both Sinhalese and Muslim have been either shot or hacked to death by these terrorists.

Given all the facts and figures outlined here it can only be deemed that the Tamil Nadu politicians in their protestations to the Indian Government to take measures against the Sri Lankan are supporting terrorism and need to be castigated. An issue India very appropriately, diplomatically and judiciously seems to have virtually side stepped and pledged support towards Sri Lanka's effort to eradicate terrorism !
