The Voicings Of LTTE Sympathisers Within The Wickremasinghe Administration Depicting LTTE Leader In Sanctimonious Guise Rather Than As A Terrorist Should Not Sway International Proscriptions!

Finally an opportunity has presented itself by way of proof that the Wickremasinghe Administration does indeed have Pro LTTE Sympathisers within its rank and file, which his own projected imagery suggests as being Cabinet Minister Periyasamy Chandrasekaran and a detailed search could probably account for more of these which would lend greater credence to the suspicions of many that Ranil Wickremasinghe himself could possibly be one, considering the many inexplicable conciliations he has continued to grant to a group of terrorists whose efforts to destroy the Sinhala Nation has been a fact of life in Sri Lanka for decades!!

After the now infamous EU's Chris Patten visit to the Wanni, Chandrasekaran who by rights should be kicked out of office for undisguised pro-terrorist leanings has taken verbose liberties to ennunciate the importance of de- proscribing the LTTE terrorists, evaluating what he terms the 'True Position' of terrorist leader Pirapaharan (a true position which might be translated as that of a despot and a psychopath who has self imposed the responsibilities of the Tamil Community on himself with no mandate ) demanding legitimacy and in the same breath has uttered expletives at the highly respected Presidential Advisor Mr Laxman Kadirgamar who may well be in line for Post of Secretary General of the Commonwealth .

For the UNF Administration, the Chandrasekeran forays into theorizing the moral justification of an outlawed organization such as the LTTE is a rank loss of face and an embarrassment that it continues to tolerate the likes of such individuals who have been an enigma and an aberration to the smooth functioning of Administration Affairs as someone who dabbled in matters beyond his comprehension with an alacrity borne of ignorance and perhaps has a tendency to incite in so doing!

There has also been a reference to Norway's campaigning towards international de- proscription of the LTTE and its meritworthiness by this LTTE champion within Parliament which must surely be a pointer towards Norway's interest in Sri Lanka towards exploiting many resources and reason enough for any Sri Lankan Administration to shut the door in their face towards a return to interfere in Sri Lankan Affairs and there needs very little to be said of Norway's conflicts of interest which also rests on obligations to the vast Tamil community within Norway who are confirmed LTTE supporters and the reality that the USA, Canada, The United Kingdom, India, Pakistan, and a consortium of Nations which have banned the LTTE for who they really are, dangerous terrorists! speaks louder than any entreaties for de- proscription and thus it has to remain within conformity that unless there transpires a dramatic turn around by the LTTE to succumb to international pressure, they will be banned until their leadership is apprehended, brought to justice and the organization made ineffective towards any intended aggression against Sovereign Sri Lanka.

It is common knowledge that given the slightest opportunity Chandrasekeran would not hesitate to spur on the plantation workers of Indian Tamil origins to support the LTTE in any unforeseen eventuality towards the pursuance of their goals and although attempts of this nature have never been permitted to get out of hand due to the prudence of the President and the National Law Enforcement agencies and in a token manner the incumbent Administration, strong evidence pertaining to the intent has surfaced intermittently with the likes of the Chandrasekarana and Thondamans often leading the charge and the fortuitous circumstances which have prevented any indictment and punitive action towards the criminality involved for what would seem treason is a miscarriage of justice which the Administration seems to have chosen to ignore have augured well for the individuals concerned!

To have suggested that if the Government did not capitulate to the Interim Administration (ISGA)demands of Prabhakaran, which has been analysed as being only as a step away from a separate state,which is more or less a direct threat to the Administration and totally unacceptable! yet amazingly enough! has been delivered by an incumbent minister! Chandrasekaran has purportedly said that the Tamil Tigers honored ethical values and democracy and they should be correctly understood by the International Community. Therefore, those countries that listed the LTTE should remove the name of the organization from the list of banned terrorist groups and lift the proscription of the organization.Here the eternal question needs to be objectively asked " Honor which desecrates human life? Ethical Values Which Involved Attempts to Destroy A Sovereign Nation ?and A Democracy Which Serves Immoral Impure Terrorist Idealogies?" where honor ethics and democracy are figures of speech and a far cry from their modus operandi and manifesto! and spectre of misrepresentation or interpretative confusion vividly outlined!

There are many who believe that the viable measure which needs to be taken at this juncture would be to either recommend Chandrasekeran and any others proclaiming the same dogma, to psychiatric evaluation or delving deeper into their afffiliations with the LTTE towards fact finding relative to whether or not they poses a threat to the National Security, The Sovereignity and Territorial Integrity of Sri Lanka!

The messsage has to be sent out loud and clear to the likes of any LTTE panderers and supportives wherever they might be, perhaps even within the Administration as suspected by many previously, when considering certain sympathisers such as Dr. Jayalath Jayawardena and a few others of ill repute towards the cause that there should by rights be no de-proscriptions or recognition of any insurgent terrorist groups which refuse to denounce their objectives, lay down arms and atone for their crimes against humanity and regardless of any false adulation and benevolence falsely portrayed of the LTTE leader and his cohorts who are none but a group of ruthless, insensitive, inhuman,self centred, megalomaniacal terrorists as all terrorists are! the banning , proscriptions and efforts to bring them to justice should continue and the leaders of the Anthems of Praise for the LTTE should be muffled as they present an abomination of the norms of decent human life which have been continuously desecrated by the terrorist cross referencing the outcry of Cabinet Minister Chandrasekeran through his trumpet blowing of the Pirapaharan Cacophony!

Rather curiously the circumstances which projected the de- banning of the LTTE within Sri Lanka initiated by one Mr.Tyrone Fernando ( The Foreign Minister) has been represented larger than life as very circumspect, where wisdoms have been questioned as to the timing of such a move involving a fully armed relentless and defiant terror group and that fact that there has been an extended calm within Sri Lanka as a result must surely be interpreted as incidental but with beneficial effects for the Nation which needs further consolidation but only if the terrorists come clean, de-commission weapons, denounce idealogies towards secession though certainly not unconditionally at a time when the Chandrasekaran depiction of LTTE Leader who has threatened secession in his own words seems all but obtuse and misrepresented and only a fragment of the so called 'Heroes Day' address has been conveniently twisted to suit his sycophantic adulation.One might be inclined to wonder whether Pirapaharan may be compared to the Archangel Gabriel next!

To suggest that "Pirapaharan would not hesitate to start his struggle for separation from Sri Lanka and that the International Community would give their fullest cooperation to him" as quoted from Chandrasekaran's address to a local daily depicts the mentality of a dreamer wrapped in a cocoon of absolute conjecture whose hypotheses seems limitless and to realise that any harness of responsibility could be granted to such an individual leaves little or nothing to the imagination, of the perceptions of the Wickremasinghe Administration towards the well being of Sri Lanka, myopic at best and the double standards they would represent if LTTE sympathisers were continuously tolerated within its camp while preaching the merits of peace to the Nation without containing the terrorist element whose intentions point to the contrary as long as they continue to remain terrorists!
