Words of Advice to UNHRC members wanting to remain “sovereignâ€ÂÂÂ

The games have begun at the UN Human Rights Council session in Geneva. More significant than the US resolution against Sri Lanka is the methods being used to target a tiny nation in South Asia. Middle East conquest by US and its cohorts is almost over; the next region will be Asia. Maldives was one such victim. There is a steady pattern in all the maneuverings taking place. The UNHRC members comprise sovereign nations of which only a handful are diehard US worshipers. UNHRC member countries must realize the logic behind any resolution where the country is minus the threat of terrorism. In such a climate Article 2 (7) providing a sovereign country to decide on matters within its own jurisdiction should apply.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The game is ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-military interventionsƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ the excuse is ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-global war on terrorƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ the objective is to overcome all those who oppose US hegemony and grab the natural resources of these countries to be shared amongst a handful of elite corporates in a bid to control world economy.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Would it be an exaggeration to say the US controls through over 1000 military bases & satellite installations over 191 UN member countries? There are US military personnel in over 150 countries, with 63 countries having US military bases? There are said to be over 300,000 US military personnel deployed worldwide. These bases are structured as a wide battleground while NATO has its own network of 30 military bases primarily across Western Europe.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Do the American people know any of these details and what their taxes are being spent on?
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Do American people know how many civilians US troops kill to protect America?
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Do the American people know that it is a policy of the US depart of defense to ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ pay journalists to write positive accounts of US war efforts, ban photographers on US military bases from covering arrival of caskets containing remains of US troops killed overseas, erase journalists footage of civilian deaths in Afghanistan, invite US journalists with military units but requiring them to submit their stories for pre-publication & refusing to disclose statistics on civilian casualties?
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The global war on terror (rather military intervention) started with Afghanistan & Iraq, Egypt, Bahrain, Yemen, Libya, Jordon soon followed. Earmarked countries are Iran, North Korea, Syria & Venezuela. With no nation to really threaten the US it has been easy to conquer, occupy & exploit. Countries have to succumb to either armed aggression or intervention in the form of ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-cooperation agreementsƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚. How far the Declaration against Foreign Military Bases actually succeeds depends on international solidarity. As with the current need for members of the UNHRC to look upon the greater meanings behind the nations that forward Resolutions!
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ We next come to Asia. We are aware of US presence in Pakistan. We are also aware of Pakistans change of stance & present alliance with Iran. Then there is India unable to decide which foster mother to go to resulting in the entire South Asian region like to suffer. What the UAE did to the Middle East, India is likely to do to Asia. ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ There is no doubt that the US is returning to Asia after its military preoccupations in the Middle East. Thus, China has every right to doubt IndiaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s ties to the US. The US certainly seeks to tie its allies closer to counterbalance ChinaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s rise & expansion drives. Upto 2500 US Marines will be deployed in Australia.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Maldives became the latest casualty after India did the groundwork for the US. A US-inclined puppet Government prevails in Maldives.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Unlike the 1st phase of US military interventions in Asia where countries were ruled by dictators most Asian countries today are practicing democracies but all suffering some form of corruption and blunders in public administration. This has enabled US to use methods of intervention through UN using a variety of its bodies that serve to engulf these naƒÆ’†’ƒ”š‚¯ve nation politically, socially and economically ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢¢”š¬…” with even military presence not necessarily of the type present in the Middle East. Many of these nations have thought it a pleasure to have US military personnel in these countries not realizing the greater implications of their presence.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ For dictators the strategy was military intervention, for Asian democracies the US will be using humanitarian intervention citing grave human rights violations or issues relating to ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-accountabilityƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚. USƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s own human rights record does not come into debate and neither does the US respond to any allegation against its wrong doings. Can nations and leaders expect to achieve unbiased and mutual agreements with such a nation?
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ US realizing IndiaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s lethargy & indecisiveness on account of Tamil Nadu has obviously decided to take Sri Lanka into its own hands. Thus, the robust US manoeverings upon Sri Lanka surprising perhaps even India which is faced with a dilemma on whether to vote for or against the resolution brought by US against Sri Lanka.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ LetƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s just ponder. All the nations of the world knew Sri Lanka was faced with a problem since 1983 ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢¢”š¬…” whatever different parties termed it, no one could deny that the LTTE was carrying out tremendous acts of terror across the nation. The killings had no rationale ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢¢”š¬…” Sinhalese, Muslims even Tamils were killed, academics, public servants, children, pregnant women, passengers & commuters, villagers, VIPs & political leaders & even LTTE members were all targets. These were terror acts that could never be solved through discussions despite 5 such attempts over 30 decades where Sri LankaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s governments were coerced into believing in peace talks which invariably resulted in more or less signing parts of land areas that came to be referred to as LTTE controlled areas.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Why were no resolutions brought by any of these foreign Governments who had banned the LTTE to take action against the LTTEƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s foreign financing network that supplied the arms for LTTE to kill? Why were no resolutions passed to even do anything about LTTEƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s child conscription?
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ There are no wars without civilian casualties. Following a policy of zero civilian casualty does not mean there are likely to be no civilian deaths. CiviliansƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ dying does not equate to mean that the Government has lied about civilian deaths and we ought to attribute all deaths to the Government. What we need to understand is that the Government did not give orders to kill any civilians. This is extremely important and this is what differentiate Sri Lanka from the US where clear orders have been given ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-to kill everything that movesƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ (Vietnam & even in Iraq).
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Having achieved what the US & its allies thought impossible, Sri Lanka has entered history books as being the only country to militarily defeat an internationally accepted terrorist organization. When foreign nations did not stop LTTE from murdering innocent people and the present Government ended 30 years of terror in just 3 years, when the country is experiencing peace ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢¢”š¬…” what does the US expect to achieve? It was only a month after submitting the LLRC report for reconciliation that the US notified of its resolution at the UNHRC.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Therefore it is undoubtedly clear that AsiaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s next victim is likely to be Sri Lanka and UNHRC members need to look at the broader significance of US in Asia, Latin America & Middle East and wisely decide to not be part of an agenda that is likely to be the start to the end of humanity.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Sri Lanka is exerting its right as a sovereign nation and Sri Lanka appeals to members of the UNHRC to not be part of a US-sponsored nexus to militarily takeover these nations, deploy its troops, deploy its personnel and make virtual slaves of its citizens or arm them and entice them to kill each other as is being done in Middle East & Africa.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Sri Lanka is not asking any favors. All we ask of UNHRC member nations is to vote with their conscience for there is no rationale to the actions US & itƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s selected allies make. Those thinking themselves as allies will face the fate of Iraq & Egypt sooner than later.

The Indian political party RSS has rightly pointed out madness of US resolution against Sri Lanka and what India should do. Here I have outlined parts of RSS communique ( Hindu nationalist organization, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh).
Quote
Calling the US the ‘biggest violator of human rights globally’ the editorial charged that the US is “poking around the scab to reopen healing wounds.”
The editorial reminded that the enemy (LTTE) was not a “hapless, unarmed group of peaceful activists, “and it was the LTTE leader, Prabhakaran and “his unyielding temperament” that prevented Sri Lanka from reaching an “amicable, bloodless settlement of the Tamil problem.”
“It was the unflinching stand of the present Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa that saw the end of one of the longest and bloodiest wars in modern world,” the Organiser editorial noted.
“The Tamils of Sri Lanka are citizens of that country. At best, India has an interest and moral responsibility to speak for them, which India has been doing all these decades. But it makes no case for anybody else to intervene,”

If US is the first , India is the second biggest violator of human rights.
Rajive Gandhi said ” there are no training camps but there are refugee camps”. A refugee from one of these camps killed him.

According to IBN news, Manmohan Singh has announced today that India will vote for the resolution.
[Quote]New Delhi: In a victory for the DMK and the AIADMK, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Monday said that the government intended to vote in favour of the US-led resolution against Sri lanka at the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC), but the final draft of the resolution was awaited.
“We are still waiting for the final draft of the resolution, but we intend to vote in favour of the resolution,” Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said in the Lok Sabha.
Speaking on the issue of alleged war crimes and Tamils in Sri Lanka, Manmohan Singh said, “India has stressed on reconciliation and healing the wounds of the Lanka Tamils. We have asked Lanka govt to stress on meaningful devolution of power.” [Unquote]

However, this contradicts with Krishna’s statement that India awaits the draft resolution. Hopefully it is only a tactic to fool Tamil Nadu legislators for now.

I have ALWAYS MAINTAINED that India will be UNABLE at SOME POINT to withstand BLACKMAIL by the TamilNadu Racists, and that Sri Lanka will have to prepare for that eventuality with other ALLIANCES to PROTECT ITSELF.
It appears that THAT TIME HAS COME! The Government of India cannot resist the threat by the TamilNadfu parties to withdraw from the Governing Coalition, and is now ready to throw Sri Lanka to the wolves.
This is the Faustian Bargain that Hillary Clinton sealed with the Racists of TamilNadu when she visited TamilNadu recently.
This DEMONSTRATES CLEARLY the FOLLY of RELYING on India for our SECURITY & NATIONAL INTEGRITY.
If India, which is responsible for initially creating, training, funding, depositing and supporting Tamil Terrorists in Sri Lanka, and causing 150,000 deaths and untold misery for our people, is UNABLE to DO THE RIGHT THING to ATONE FOR ITS CRIMES against the People of Sri Lanka, the TIME HAS ALSO COME for Sri Lanka to DISTANCE ITSELF from the Indian Embrace and FEND FOR ITSELF without regard to India’s concerns.
NOW IS THE TIME TO CUT THIS GORDIAN KNOT, FOREVER!

american passing resolution against Sri lanka because they could not get prez
Rajapackse to serve their interest but they are working to get everything like unfavorable projects to Sinhalese by frightening him to lay war crime charges. As a part of it, many elements got visa into Sri lanka under distinguished names to trick Sinhalese and divide Sinhalese.
And I do know that direction of conspiracy towards Sri lanka won’t be changed until Sri lankan convince them that American too stand trial for accountability on various crime across the globe.
American and others are accountable for killing more than one thousand members of former UNP government, Killing president PRamadasa, Killing Rajive Ghandi, thousand of bombs in Sl including Kandy temple attack, Central bank attack, airport attack. including inquiry into hundreds of bomb attack in India, and thousands of attacks on women and children in Pakistan and Afghanistan and killing of Misses Bhoto
You want democracy, freedom of expression and human rights, then be ready to answers to the lawyers from New York and in Brussels in EU
American, Candian and European public will appreciate and welcome this move.

India fooled us multiple times. If arming and training LTTE is not enough, India protected them from military operations. In April 1987 (before the Wadamarachchi trap) Indian bailed the LTTE leader out. Then again in July 1987 India save the LTTE.
Then gunboat diplomacy.
India didn’t keep its part of the Accord.
In 2007 India demanded Sri Lanka buy weapons only from India. Indian equipment failed miserably.
And now India is ready to abandon Sri Lanka just like the IPKF grand betrayal. Our leaders have fallen in the same pit over and over again, knowingly.
However, I still hope against hope that India will change its stated stand once again after Tamil Nadu calms down.
Either way we cannot build trust with a totally untrustworthy nation like India. Pakistan, Burma, China, Bangladesh, Maldives and Nepal (the entire Indian neighbourhood except Sri Lanka) cannot be all wrong. Sri Lanka needs a more trustworthy partner than India. It is not difficult to see who that partner is. Though China didn’t help us in war, Tamil Nadu antics cannot sway China into lunacy.

Sri Lanka is not asking much, we are asking only to leave us alone!

Ananda-USA’s warning above is timely. One day in the near future TN will attempt to invade us with the active support of Central Government. We should be prepared for it. Our leaders should not stay idle and hope for the best. They should obtain the technology and make or burrow the deterrent from our friendly countries and keep the country in readiness for any eventuality.

Looks like I am the only person who sees India behind this resolution.
Finally India has come out to say they will support US.
Or is it the sacred bull behind it.
Let us se who is behind this resolution.
The resolution is brought in by the Us supported by UK and Norway etc. Its is a shame the Conservatives have capitulated to Indians. How much will th Pound be if not for the Indians and Indian colonial parasitism?
Finally India has come out saying it will support the resolution if it meets what India wants.
I am sure it was drafted by Indians either in the US or the UNHCR or India.
No one has heard about war crimes committed by India in Kashmir.
India is our enemy then, now and in the future. It is time to undo the Indian Union.

The Resolution agaist Sri Lanka has all the makings of an Indian draft. How can India not go against something it has drafted?
Can our leaders once & for all realize WHO INDIA IS & have the dignity not to compromise our country just for a few pleasantries that India shows.
Sri Lanka should not have to be humiliated by India ever again. India is an enemy that pretends to be our friend….

A few countries have fooled Sri Lanka over the centuries. Wonder who is pushing India this time ? Last time it was during the Cold War.
March 19th, 2012 at 8:47 am
The decadent and elitist clique that leads India is moving away from non-alignment and towards the West. This will be their undoing. Almost every non-western country, leader or regime that once aligned themselves with the West are used up and then discarded. Pakistan was allies with America for decades and how did America reward them? They treat them like enemies or trample on their national sovereignty. India’s relationship with America is one of mutual exploitation. America is pretending to be friends with India, waiting quietly to make quick profits, divide and ultimately weaken India. Many of this Indian clique publicly praise Americans and privately hold them in contempt. They are hoping to get material and technological benefits and then go their own way. Both countries are in for a shock sometime in the future. Our Sri Lankan politicians and “cultural purists” have a blind spot when it comes to Indian duplicity. They claim some sort of “special relationship” to them. For many Indians their special relationship with us is like the special relationship they have with their untouchables. This was the case even with the Nehrus. Our politicians cant see this. They can claim relationship with these Indians but truly patriotic Sri Lankans do not claim relationship to two timers.

Keep my above comment and date recorded to be used later as a piece evidence. Yesterday Indian primer received a call from a embassy ordering him to go againnst Sri Lanka after my comment. Who creaoted resolution against Sri Lanka is the same.these groups well knows for making fiction make believing stories around the world and come and tell “we can help you”. In last three four weeks events:
same group went to India and told India to talks against thatso and then went to China and told them not to support Sl against india, and same groupe came to sl and told somebody to write that Indian are “parasites”.
March 19th, 2012 at 12:56 pm
please keep my above comment and date recorded for legal purpose. somebody called Indian primer after my comment and he acted according what that party asked him to do so. The same party created resolution against sl. This is how they try to get Sinhalese buy their “make believing stories”. They fooled Prez Jayawrdena to prez Kumaratunga and sometime prez Rajapakse. in last four week period same group went to china and told them not to support sl against india, then they got India to bring 13 amendment and they came to sl and got some group to write Indian are ‘parasite” Christie! “that is why Indian are so quiet” How can you do some thing loud when do something secret in an agreement.
I have writing comment here and writing to primer and prez Rajapakze since they come to power and i have asked many times to change direction because i found evidance that some groups is harming sl and govt not able to fight them but later I realized if you are friend with them is same or if you hostile to them they are same. and all those years if SL govt managed to install right poeple in sl embassy in canada, it won’t drag it this long until now.
March 19th, 2012 at 1:11 pm
Christie you are damn correct when you said INDIA IS NOT OUR FRIEND THEN, NOW OR IN THE FUTURE. They were our enemies from the Elara time. They will never be our friends. They created L.T.T.E. and the bloody murderer PRABAKARAN and helped to kill thousands of our innocent civillians in cold blood. How can they be our friends at any time?
All Ghandies were murdered in cold blood by their own make and the rest of the Ghandies too will suffer the same fate if they dont follow the truth. Our Govt should not believe the Indians and say they are our relatives. Bullshit! Our land is a land with a great history. Our great Sinhala worriors fought in this land for centuries against evil, jealous, invaders and won. We send the terrorists to hell and brought PEACE to our Motherland after thirty long years. We sacrificed thousands of our citizens to come to this point and we will not allow any mother’s son or daughter to take that freedom from us again.NEVER.
Indians go to hell and support the USA resolution. We care damn. We know who the Indians are. Worse than the beggars in our Sinhala land. I will never buy anything MADE IN INDIA and I call upon all Sri Lankans to do the same to teach these hypocrits a lesson. We have to be united in this. Show our strength to these KALLATHONIS.
