Catholic Bishops Believe that
Sri Lankans are Dimwitted

Most individuals indulge other people's beliefs and go by a policy of
live and let live. Whether it's concerning the 'infallibility of Popes',
'Immaculate Conception' or even if they believe that the 'sun is revolving
round the earth', most people don't bother.
But when true believers try to censure a whole nation from receiving
information which the rest of the global society enjoys freely, then
medieval ages is clearly descending upon that nation.
Thus with the banning of "Da Vinci Code" in response to an
appeal made by the Catholic bishops of Sri Lanka, the nation was denied
a basic right. Bishops in support of their case have pointed out that,
Sri Lankans are incapable of separating facts from friction, and bound
to get confused by the 'code'.
Regrettably H.E, The President agreed. So he must be having a very
low opinion of his people. The very people who voted him in as their
president.
On the other hand we know the Bishops to be past masters at separating,
fact from fiction. Indeed it is through their findings that Galileo
was put under house arrest in 1732 by Pope Urban VIII for not presenting
a 'fact' when he declared that the 'world was revolving round the sun',
and not the other way around, as the Catholic dogma had it. By hindsight
we now know for a fact, that it was a figment of Galileo's imagination.
So the world is in debt to the Catholic Church for censuring Galileo
and stopping him from confusing us by feeding us with absurd 'facts'.
Still the bizarre situation has not escaped the attention of the 'stupid'
Sri Lankans. Indeed they were perplexed that those hard core catholic
nations such as Spain and Italy have allowed screening the Da Vinci
Code, and letting its people separate on their own, what's facts and
what's fiction.
But it did bring into sharp focus a more sinister aspect of the Catholic
Church. That it controls what we hear, what we read, see or even contemplate.
Meanwhile the global society is querying, is the President of Sri Lanka,
more Catholic than the Pope?
Come to think of it, there are other facts these 'Sinhalese Buddhist
chauvinists' might get confused with; such as, is it a fact that 4 percent
of U.S. priests ministering from 1950 to 2002, were accused of sex abuse
with a minor, according to a comprehensive national study of the issue?
Or taking of usury, (condemned by the Catholic Church from taking of
interest on loans under any circumstances), especially as the Vatican
has established its own private bank in 1942 and was running it in complete
secrecy.
To tell you the truth how can these 'Buddhist chauvinists' separate
fact from fiction, when they are unable to separate subtleties between
the protestant Catholic divide. It's way over their head the obvious
fact that Jesus should not be approached directly, but should be done
in a roundabout way, i.e. through an intermediary, such as a saint or
mother Mary. Only dull Protestants do such distasteful things.
So naturally they are bound to be confused by the 'Da Vinci code's'
main theme, that Jesus had an affair with Mary Magdalena (being a loose
women according to the Bible), and fathered children.
But by using big cannons to shoot down a mosquito the Holy Catholic
Church exposed its cover of the covert war it has been waging against
the Sinhalese Buddhist. That 7% of the Catholics are controlling the
93% of the Sri Lankan people since independence is a fact. Indeed what's
becoming clearer by the day is, this 'Holy' Institution has been destabilising
and undermining the Island nation from within, since it detached itself
from the white colonist.
It's about time Sri Lankans reclaim their democratic rights, and ask
the Catholic Church to go fly a kite.
