PRESIDENT RAJAPAKSA TOLD SOME UNNAMED POWERFUL NATIONS THAT “WE ARE NO COLONY OF ANYBODYâ€ÂÂÂ.

President Mahinda Rajapaksa told , in no uncertain terms, some unnamed powerful nations who are trying to interfere in Sri Lankan affairs that ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-we are no colony of anybody.ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚
President Rajapaksa addressing the governing Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) delegates of the Moneragala District said, at the forthcoming Provincial Council Elections the voters should deliver the strong message to the powerful nations who were making undue pressures during the recent liberation from terrorism that we are no colony of anybody.
The PresidentƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s statement is an obvious reference to some European nations who were attempting to interfere in the internal affairs of Sri Lanka during the crushing of the terrorist group, the LTTE and obtain the release of the later killed terrorist leader ,Prabhakaran.
ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-Those very interferers are still anxiously waiting to see what the reaction of the people is to the government and the interference of the outside powers and the best opportunity to show the reaction is the forthcoming elections,ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ the President said.
The President said those outside powers are still exerting pressures on behalf of the anti Sri Lankan activities .
President Rajapaksa said the recent historical liberation by our armed forces was won while powerful nations were attempting to impress upon us and this is a fact very well known to all politicos. He said the same sectors are awaiting the verdict of the people and they should be sent a very strong message by the people that we are no colony of anybody.
Addressing more than 4000 delegates from the Moneragala area at the Temple Trees the residence of the President , Rajapaksa said all remote villages should be developed and its benefits passed on to the people. The name difficult undeveloped villages, should be completely removed from the map of Sri Lanka. The dedication of all Government Parliamentarians and officials is vital. The Moneragala District impacted by terrorism, was an area which suffered a setback in development. Pointing out that the obligation of developing all remote villages of the District will be entrusted to the Uva Provincial Council the President said it is the onus of the people of the area to elect a proper leadership.
Minister Maithripala Sirisena said everyone has accepted that the island can be developed on an agricultural footing by working with an objective and determination.
Ministers Susil Premajayanth and Mahindananda Aluthgamage also addressed the gathering. Ministers Anura Priyadharshana Yapa and Jagath Pushpakumara, former Uva Chief Minister Gamini Vijith Vijithamuni Soysa and Freedom Alliance Group Leader of the Moneragala District Shashindra Rajapaksa were present

Now Janadipathi Mahinda Rajapaksa unarguably goes to this list.In my list he is next to Great King Gemunu,Great King Wijayabahu, Great King Parakramabahu and next is Janadipathi Mahinda Rajapaksa.All four equally saved our country from invaders. (Prabakaran’s LTTE also a sort of invasion).
Since Uva Wellassa revolutionaries massacred by British invaders we haven’t see a patriotic leader.Most our leaders were Euro pupets either we accept or not.They lived in Sri Lanka by physically but mentally they lived in Europe. Chandrika, Ranil real examples.
A Lion has born now, we have a Sri Lankan leader who dress like a Sri Lankan, Speak to Sri Lankan, lives in Sri Lanka.We are proud of you! You are correct honerable Janadipathi, we are no more a colony of Anglo Saxans. They must understand 17th century in dead. European domination in the world is over. It is Asia’s turn. These Europeans think that still they can invade countries for slave trade!!!!Change the attitudes Anglo Saxans!You guys cannot invade Sri Lanka any more.
