This is enough evidence for patriots to reject him and stick to the known patriotic leader.

LTTE Diaspora openly and clearly supports Fonseka. Their argument is Rajapaksha is the worst enemy of Tamil Elamists. IsnƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t this enough proof for all Sri Lankans to vote for Rajapaksha? The worst enemy of Tamil Elam is the best hero of Sri Lanka because this island has room for only one nation; either Sri Lanka or Tamil Elam. Sri Lanka must die for Tamil Elam to flourish and Tamil Elam must die for Sri Lanka to prosper and flourish.

LTTE plan is simple. Given the animosity between SF and MR-GR-Shavendra Silva-Jagath Jayasuriya, if SF wins the election he will help the so called ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”international communityƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ to try MR-GR-Shavendra Silva-Jagath Jayasuriya for ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”war crimesƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢. SF made it very clear that he has no intention of saving them. If MR wins no one will be inconvenienced with war crimes nonsense, not even SF.

Sri Lankan voters must be fully aware of this danger to Motherland and our war heroes.

Not stopping at that, SF has stooped into an all time low when he agreed with the LTTE via the TNA to release all hardcore LTTE suicide bombers and close down High Security Zones (HSZs).

In 2005 TamilNet urged Tamils to boycott the election denying votes even to the LTTEƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s best buddy, Ranil. Why on earth TamilNet is supporting Fonseka now? There is only one reason; Fonseka is more adorable to TamilNet than Ranil. Against this backdrop, dubious conduct of SF now starts to make sense.

1. The Elephant Pass debacle of April 2000 was the biggest military defeat suffered by the Sri Lanka army. Multiple blunders by the commander-in-charge of this camp lead to the debacle. Not responding in time, not withdrawing in time, not giving protection to the water purification tanks, not heeding advice and not getting the support of the Navy and the Air Force are some critical mistakes the then commander in charge of the area made. It was none other than SF.

2. In 2003 SF undertook to assess the HSZs and consider the possibility of removing them. Why should it even be considered? It is a straightforward thing; HSZs must stay. He was under tremendous pressure from patriotic Sri Lankans not to give into LTTE, Norwegian and UNP pressure. Only then did he refuse to change HSZs.

3. In October 2006, SLA tried to advance from Kilali, Muhamalai and Nagarkovil towards Elephant Pass. The operation failed badly. Sri Lanka lost more than 350 best fighters and 16 Armoured Fighting Vehicles (AFVs). It was directly commandeered and planned by SF. Assistance of the air force and the navy was never sought. This blunder repeated four times thereafter. More than a thousand soldiers died for no reason. SF promoted the failed brigadier. He was sent to USA as the defence attachƒÆ’†’ƒ”š‚© to the Sri Lankan embassy. These were the only blunders of Elam War IV.

4. In December 2009 SF signed a secret agreement with the TNA. TNA MPs made it very clear that SF agreed to all the conditions put forward by the TNA. For revealing this fact Sunday Lankadeepa journalist Dayaseeli Liyanage was threatened with death and she resigned.

6. SF left the country when the army was just about to wipe out the LTTE on May 11th, 2009. It was a cowardly act to save his sorry face from possible war crimes allegations and to win favours from the LTTE. He also used it to strike an unwanted US$ 200 million (Rs 24 billion) weapons deal with Chinese companies.

LTTE lied about FonsekaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”legal perilsƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢. LTTE or TAG (Tamils Against Genocide) never filed a case against Fonseka. According to Fonseka himself the US Inland Security Dept wanted to know about GRƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s alleged ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”war crimesƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢, not his. In return, LTTE wanted him to release LTTE suicide bombers and entertain the TNA which Fonseka gladly did.
