Needless to say, the Tamil Tigers are among the most dangerous and deadly extremists in the world. For more than three decades, the group has launched a campaign of violence and bloodshed in Sri Lanka, the island republic off the southern coast of India.

Its ultimate goal: to seize control of the country from the Sinhalese ethnic majority and create an independent Tamil state. Along the way, it has launched suicide attacks, assassinated politicians (including a government minister this week and even the Sri Lankan President), taken hostages, and committed all of kinds of crimes to finance its operations. ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The above issues related to terrorism, was hardly considered by UN or Ms Pillay. Sri Lanka was left to ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ defend itself to battle against terrorism, funded by Global Tamils, that brought misery and living, a nightmare to ordinary Sri Lankans. Sri Lanka managed to end human rights abuses in Sri Lanka by eliminating terrorism decisively and without any help from UN or Ms Pillay. Acknowledgement to FBI for the help given to Sri Lanka to defeat terrorism. If terrorism was not eliminated decisively, then there would still be human rights abuses by terrorists, death and destruction, lawlessness, living in fearƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  and so on. The present HR boss of UN, an ethnic Tamil,ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  certainly knew what she wanted ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢¢”š¬…” to support Tamil terrorists and to discredit Sri Lanka. Ms Pillay attempted to equate a terrorist group with a legitimate Government and she spent more energy harassing Sri Lanka, which was a victim of terrorism, than fighting terrorism.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ It appears that UN or Ms Pillay has not taken any practical measures against terrorism, which was the prime cause of human right abuses in Sri Lanka. Now ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ it appears that she isƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ hounding the victim Sri Lanka. It is very similar to a rape victim, who appeared to defend herselfƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  being harassed and charged.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Pro LTTE and anti Sri Lanka stand of Ms Pillay

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Ms Navi Pillay has beenƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  anti Sri LankaƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  and pro LTTE for a long time. Even when UN member states voted in favour of Sri Lanka, she continued her anti Sri Lankan stand. She did nothing to eliminateƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Tamil terrorismƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  and empire building, which was the main cause of human rights abuse in Sri Lanka, but she did every thing in her power to act against GOSL which eliminated terrorism. It has to be investigated, if her reluctance to act against Tamil racism is due to her Tamil ethnicity. She did nothing against USA that continue to abuse human rights in Iraq and Afghanistan.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ UK PM, Mr BrownƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  saysƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  that terrorists will be hunted down (Guardian 4-06-09). Sri LankaƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  simply hunted down the terrorists, but only Sri Lanka is to be investigated, whilst countries responsible for over a million civilian deaths in Iraq go unchallenged. What sort of hypocrisy is this?ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Or is this Tamil racism in UN in action ?

Due to ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ regular bullying ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ and harassment of Sri Lanka by Ms Pillay and her apathy in dealing with major human rights violators such as USA and UK (in Iraq and Afghanistan), many see her as a Tamil racist, sympathising with Tamil terrorists. These serious allegations ought toƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  be investigatedƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  by UN. It appears that she is abusing her position and playing the Tamil tiger tune.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ BecauseƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Ms Pillay is aƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Tamil, with potential to be anti Sri Lanka, she should not be allowed to get involved in issues related to Sri Lanka. The ethnicity of Navi Pillay,ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  and the potential for bias should be conveyed to UN members.

Assuming that she is fully aware that the leadership of LTTE does not exist any more, then by demanding an investigation, she is clearly hounding the victim of terrorism Sri Lanka. Due to her conduct many suspect that she is a Tamil racist, sympathetic to LTTE and many question if she is fit to be in UN. In fact there should be an investigation by a panel appointed by Mr Moon, to determineƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  if there is institutional racism against the Sinhalese in Sri Lanka in UN, because of people such as Ms Pillay, other Tamils andƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  persons such as Alan Rock. Many see UN as a Tamil tiger infested, Tamil racist den.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ If she is unable to disregard her ethnicity and do her duties as a professional, her position in UN has to be considered.

There is clearƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  evidence that Ms Pillay has abused her position to harass and bully Sri Lanka. It is even possible that Ms Pillay has influenced Mr Moon.. Most believe, that her actions are due to her Tamil ethnicity. UN is well known for corruption and their pro terrorist officials. UN officials have been expelled from Afghanistan due to links with terrorists . ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The Sri Lankan army, one of the most disciplined militaries in the world defeated the LTTE but the Sri Lankan foreign ministry and Information ministry failed to portray the ground reality. As such the West is lobbied by LTTE propaganda. Many writers have previously indicated the need to have proper machinery to combat Tamil propaganda.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ In addition to some organs of the UN, some Western politicians dependent on the minority vote, have ignorantly or knowingly supported the LTTE. A few British politicians,ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ in need of the ethnic vote, have been attending LTTE events such as the ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ events of the Global Tamil Forum, which many suspect is theƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  LTTE’s premier front organisation. It is essential to identify LTTE frontsƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  and expose them, before they are able to mislead the world and cause extensive damage to Sri Lanka.
