Ranil Wickremasinghe, addressing a UNP election campaign meeting held in Jaffna Veerasingham Hall Friday, ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ said that all the military camps in Nothern peninsula will be scrapped except Palaali Sri Lanka Army (SLA) camp, which will be convertedƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ into an international airport.
ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-High Security Zones are no longer necessary in the peninsula and the people evacuated from these places will be immediately resettled in their own properties if UNP becomes the ruling party in the general election,ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ he further said.
Opposition Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe has also pledged to set up an effective resettlement program in the North by removing all unnecessary high security zones while keeping only the essential ones in strategic areas in the country. He said his party has also finalized a plan to develop the Palali Airport into an international airport.
Ranil Wickremasinghe announced that a Commission of Inquiry will be established and it will immediately begin to find what had happened to the persons gone missing in Jaffna peninsula during the present government, apparently,ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ in line with the international demand for war crime investigation.

And in addition, I will once again allow 19 shiploads of LTTE weapons to come into Mullativu after I ensure all SLA camps and other military HSZ are removed. Then I will look the other way when once again the LTTE pistol squads roam all over SL and bump-off their arch enemies such as TMVP persons, SLDF key officers including officers from SLA MI, and then of course I will ask Colombo police to be “Tamil friendly” by looking the other way when LTTE cadres come to Colombo and plant claymores and high explosives in office buildings but wait, I am not done yet…as when the LTTE sets off claymores and blasts Sinhalese civilians and school children all over and attack Sinhela villages in the night and hack and shoot inhabitants including women and infants and then when I need to calm LTTE down, I will say the answer is to recognize LTTE as a democratic entity and encourage LTTE to once again have the “Pongu Thamil” rallies whereby they will again burn and hack effigies SLA soldiers AND in the midst of all that, I will, of course call upon my friends, the Norwegians to once again come to Sri Lanka whereby even my own SLDF personnel will not be able travel to any of the so called “Tamil areas” without their permission. I feel very sorry for this degenerate Ranil. He will do anything to be the next President. The irony of the day is there are some fellow who will believe him to be the strategist. He is nothing but a daydreamer trying to whip up Tiger support to be employed without thinking about the Nation. Fellows like Ranil must be black listed and must be removed from holding any public office in Sri Lanka.

Tamils, if fallen into this trap will lose more. Once he win the election, he will find there is no one to sign a pact with, so he will sign the peace pact with Fonseka. Fonseka will look after the seperate state. He will look after all the Tamils, women come first.

Can’t Ranil remember 1981 Jaffna development council election under his uncle President J.R Jayawardena? Ranil was a minister in 1981 UNP government. On election day his colleagues as well as his uncle’s ministers torched Jaffna library! And it was not a free and fair election at all. Had he and his UNP government apologies for it?
Can’t he remember 1983 black July under his uncle JR’s government? Ranil was a senior member of that government. What steps they took to control anti Tamil riots? Can’t he remember UNP thugs were behind all these attacks? He should apologies for it also.
Ranil we have not born yesterday. Entire Sri Lanka know 1978-1994 UNP’s cursed regime made Sri Lanka “the pearl of Indian ocean” to “Blood drop of Indian ocean”.
Now thanks to Hon. President Mahinda Rajapakse who made Sri Lanka a peaceful country after defeat the megalomaniac tamil terrorist Prabakaran and his terrorist outfit Ranil too had an opportunity to visit Jaffna and address to tamil voters.
Accept the truth Ranil if not President Rajapakse you are not in a position to go beyond Anuradhapura. Shame on you! You are a curse of Sri Lanka!
