Change ministers annually

Letter to the Editor-Dr. Mrs. Mareena Thaha ReffaiƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Dehiwela.
The recent shuffle of ministers by the Mahinda government has brought about an amusing situation whereƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ the new ministers have brought out the misdemeanor of the earlier ones albeit from the same party. Health and education ministries are standing out in this respect. How wonderful! Instead of shooing them down actually the president should encourage this trend among all his ministers and also bring in a rule that he will reshuffle the ministers again in a yearƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s time. This way the ministers not only will work hard but also will refrain from cheating and stealing from the government kitty.
The president is an expert on knowing who is an enemy of whom. So he will knowƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ whom to choose to replace whom. This way he will have a sincere, hard working cabinet and he can sit back and enjoy the fruits of hard labour and what ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ surer way to win the next election as well, as he himself has proclaimed? ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚
What better way to catch a thief than to set a thief?
