ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Sir:
You asked, “What do the leaks really tell us?” referring to the Wikileak documents.
It will tell us one thing. If UN Secretary-General Ban ki-Moon shies away from
appointing a panel to probe into the War Crimes of the US and the UK in Iraq and
Afghanistan, it would prove further that the UN is a bully and an institute of Humbug
and is sliding into irrelevance.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚
Ban ki-Moon has gone after Sri Lanka by appointing a panel of three to prove that they are
War criminals for the very reason that they did a favour the rest of the civilized world by
getting rid of the the most ruthless terrorist group, the Tamil Tigers, who invented the body
pack for human suicide bombing and the use of women as suicide bombers which we Canadians
now feel the impact with our brave soldiers getting killed in Afghanistan by suicide bombings.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚
Time will tell how honest the UN is and how relevant the UN is. That is what the leaks will tell us.

Certainly, this is worse than the BP oil leak. Now what, is UN doomed? If Ban can’t perform properly he should pull out.

We must consider getting out of UN and setting up NAM (Non-Aligned Movement) as the new world body dealing with international issues of the member nations. Then we can invite all who want to join. We may consider the capitals of either Iran or Egypt for our new headquarters. Ban may join us as an observer.

Hi Priyan
Even though you are willing to get in to the same boat as megalamaniac Ahmad-whatsisiname of Iraq rest of us not in such a hurry. Iran is a country run by crazy paranoid mullahs. Why should carry any truck with these fundamentalists???
