The Nation of Sri Lanka continues to see more clearly the true personality behind Former Army Commander Sarath Fonseka each time he makes obtuse and ludicrous statements to the media which only portrays the arrogant, somewhat ignorant and self centered individual he is despiteƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  the respect and high esteem he was once held in. Very apparently now, the damning evidence against him sealed in the Judicial System of Sri Lanka and documented within the provisions of the laws of the land ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ that he is no national leader, never will be and should never be permitted to be, appears to beƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ in the best interests of a Nation such as Sri Lanka where the people now enjoy many freedoms with a brilliant leadership at its helm and the future looking very promising and Fonseka despite his hand in the liberations which ensured these freedoms continuing to disentitle himself of recognitionƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ and distancing himself further ofƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ being anyƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  part of the Sri Lankan Administrative even in hypothetical conjecture!

It has to be noted howeverƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ despite its unforeseeable nature, thatƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ the ramifications ofƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ National leadership by a man of his dangerous ambitions will destroy the NationƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  and stands out as something which needs stringent preventive action if what has been accomplished by the Rajapaksha Administration is to be maintained in a cast iron clad, fool proof perspective and in this sense the Fonseka utterances to the media seem unforgivable!

The recent proclamation to the electronic media by Fonseka in his recent court appearance that he along with others ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”imprisoned by the governmentƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ were prepared to break out of prison and protect the people suggests a deranged man not in total control of his faculties or rationality and needs to be put into perspective as dangerous speech albeit the futile nature of its presentation and beingƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  aired to the general public questionable which perhaps should have been censured under emergency law as a necessity to maintain national security due to the threat it consists of andƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ made against an incumbent Administration.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚

Further quoting his defiant riposte against the Administration he has suggested thatƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ “The pattern of imprisonment will continue, similar to Ranjan Ramanayake being arrested. There will be hundreds more going to jail. Together, we are prepared to break out from prison to protect democracy and the masses. Once we come out we will provide protection and freedom to the people.” which can only be attributed as coming from a desperate man whose concept of protecting an already protected and provided forƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ massesƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ in Sri Lanka sounds totally far fetched and a typical outburst from a disgruntled individual who has fallen from power through his own fallibilitiesƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ !

And as surely as the sun rises and sets in Sri Lanka or for that matter any other place on earth where the law prevails there will be as many incarcerations as deemed necessary by the laws of the landƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ whenever a law breaker is apprehended, indicted and sentenced within jurisdictions and the sooner Fonseka gets this into his head the better it will be for him and perhaps stifle his call to rebellion which is what his statement openly suggests albeit in folly!ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  When does the filling of jails in Sri Lanka by people who belong there warrant seditious and inciting speeches of this nature and what really is the man trying to accomplish short of a national revolt and the reason why emergency laws should have been applied towards the censorship of such anƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ inflammatory proclamation by someone who does not have any right to do so, freedoms of speech notwithstanding as there are limits even to that if it borders on seditious speech!

Somewhat curiouslyƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Just a few days prior to this the JVP leader Somawansa Amerasighe and his consortsƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ it needs to be noted , were spewing rhetoric of a similar nature about breaking down the walls of Welikade JailƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ where it appears a fools brigade hell bent on revolt against the State ( which the JVPƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  obviously have a reputation for) seem to be taking shape and needs to be taken to task as much as the incarcerated Fonseka in a defiance which could get him deeper into a mire of uncertainty about where he is headed.

This man Sarath Fonseka’s arrogance and his foul mouth utterences, clearly indicates that his mind is deranged. He is in a wishful thinking mode. It appears to me that he talks tough, with something very sinister in his mind. Apparently he thinks, that a revolution has already started on his behalf, by the University Students, creating dissention in the country, and they are very near the Prison Walls, to break in and release him. In his mind, he thinks that is DEMOCRACY. Then, when he comes out of the rubble, and onto Baseline Road, he is a Free Man. Till then, The Democratic Government of Sri Lanka will look the other way. So, his mustard brain thinks. Pompous Jackass. It is not advisable for the Government to grant him any reprieve.

Sri Lankans are blessed, not to have a Rowdy Foul Mouthed, Mentally Sick Man, attempting to lead the Country.

Government must take serious cogniscance of Threats and Intimidation by JVP Scoundrels, and their likes.

It is high time the Government steps in to quell rowdy behaviour, getting worse day by day.

Fonseka must be put behind bars for a long time with Soma and the mob. They belong there. Ranil may take ‘prawn noodles’ every now and then to keep Fonseka’s taste buds going. Perhaps a ‘bottle of pol’ would not go waste near Fonseka. That’s all we can do for our national hero for few months. If he comes out and ask for pardon from the Nation, then we might consider releasing him on conditions. But not the others.
