LET’S UNITE ONCE MORE AGAISNT THE UN (LTTE) LIES

All of us have heard of the latest ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”findingsƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ of the UN appointed panel. It looks like itƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s a copy/ paste from the Tamilnet in early 2009. My issue is how these people who write and also comment on the report do that in isolation from the main issue. Let for a moment assume that what is written in the report actually happened. In that hypothesis I like to invite the attention of all to the following.
- If it happened then it happened to put an end of violence and killing that lasted for 30 years. In any war there is collateral damage. If this did not end it would have killed another 300-400,000 for another 30-40 years.
- The original plan was to complete the war in 2010. It was the West and the Millbands who pushed the hand of the GOSL for an early finish. The Millibands played a game for their own benefit. The GOSL had two options. Stop the war and ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”negotiateƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ and drag it for another 2-3 generations or expedite and take risks of higher human casualties. Considering the suffering of many, GOSL made the right decision and that was to expedite. So again if it happened then it happened as the West was pushing for a ceasefire that would have dragged the issue for decades with many more loss of lives.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚
- It was the members of LTTE (and on their payroll) who marched in major roads in major cities in the West. Their intention was NOT to avert the civilian killings. They were hard selling ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”genocideƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ to get a ceasefire and breathing space for LTTE to regroup and re-arm. This is exactly the GOSL didnƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t let happen. The GOSL/SLDF had to expedite operations to ensure that the hidden agendas of the elamsists or the West are not met. Therefore if what is said happened it happened due to the actions of the west and Ealamists.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚
- It was LTTE who is responsible for deaths as it was them who took the innocent civilians as human shield and placed rocket positions among the civilian tents. The option for GOSL were do nothing and drag on as one cannot bomb the positions as it would endanger the civilians or to make a military judgment and bomb (knowing that there will be some collateral damage) for the greater good. Again if it happened then it happened to conduct a legitimate war against an illegitimate outfit and not for the love of killing civilians. I also wonder what other options were? DonƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t civilians get killed every day in Afghanistan even with the availability of much smarter weapons for the allies? I also wonder as the penal is now free cant we appoint them to investigate USA bombing of civilians in Afghanistan?ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚
- It was the LTTE that moved in to the no fire zone established for civilians. I wonder whether the UN or the West offered an option to GOSL to separate the civilians from the terrorists. The SLDF managed to get the civilians out and kill the enemy. They reached their objective. Therefore again if it happened it happened in the process of separating the civilians and rescuing the civilians from the armed terrorists.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚
- Unlike the defense forces the terrorists donƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t wear uniforms or labels. Hence the filtering process was necessary to ensure that LTTE do not infiltrate the masses and recommence their activities that will naturally put the hardships back on the innocent Tamil civilians. Hence how can the UN panel find wrong with the camps as it was done for future good of the people. Therefore if anything untoward happened in these camps that was not part of the strategy of the GOSL or the SLDF.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚
- Gordon Weiss, a former U.N. spokesman in Sri Lanka during the final years of the island war, has told British television program Channel 4 News that the leaked report into “credible allegations” of war crimes represent Sri Lanka’s “Srebrenica moment. According to Wikipedia ” Srebrenica genocide, refers to the July 1995 killing of more than 8,000 Bosniak men and boys, in and around the town of Srebrenica in Bosnia and Herzegovina, by units of the Army of Republika Srpska (VRS) under the command of General Ratko MladiƒÆ’-¾ƒ¢¢”š¬‚¡ during the Bosnian War. According to Wikipedia a paramilitary unit from Serbia known as the Scorpions, officially part of the Serbian Interior Ministry until 1991, participated in the massacre. The forcible transfer of between 25,000 to 30,000 Bosniak women, children and elderly who accompanied the massacre was found by the ICTY to be evidence of the genocidal intent of members of the VRS Main Staff who orchestrated the massacre. This is genocide and ethnic cleansing. THIS DID NOT HAPPEN IN THE SRI LANKAN WAR.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ If this kind of massacre happened in the North and the East GSOL/SLDF could have completed the war in maximum 3 months with much less casualties to the forces. The long time and the large number of casualties the SLDF had to suffer were to save civilian lives and not to destroy. Gordon Weiss can have his 15 minutes of fame but not by demeaning the victims of Srebrenica genocide by comparing it to what happened in Sri Lanka to save civilians. This comment shows the malicious intentions of the so called UN personnel who are on an agenda or well paid by the Ealamists.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The TNA who are praising the UN report do not have any shame as they know that whatever the collateral damage happened that happened solely due to the actions of LTTE, its supporters and the western politicians who were either on payroll or on vote blackmail by the Diaspora. If you want the GOSL to be upright on negotiating why donƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t you also upright and express the balance view and tell the truth.
The GOSL (HE the president, Gotabhaya Rajapakse and Gen. Sarath Fonseka) together with the other commanders and the troops had a well laid out plan to complete the mission with the weapons from friendly nations, small boats squadrons, strategies and also the motivation to fight to a finish, with much less casualties. Hence if there were casualties then it is a result of the selfish agendas and strategies of the LTTE and the west and UN (such as Pillai) that is responsible and NOT the troops or the leadership.
I do not anyway condone the imprisonment of Gen Fonseka or forcing the national anthem to be sung only in Sinhalese, or the triumpelism, and the ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”saleƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ of the war victory for elections or any such acts actions and omissions that happened after the war. That does not mean that a Sri Lankan can be quiet thinking that it is the countryƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s leadership is in trouble. We have to see beyond our party color and our race. This is a major episode of the ealms campaign that rode on lies and deception from day one going to a bigger stage with UN stamp.
Regardless of what our opinions or believes of the current politics of the country, it is the duty of every person regardless of political beliefs, race or religion to stand up in one voice. It is also the duty of the Tamils who were spared of extortion, enlistment, harassment of the LTTE by the ending of war to speak up. It is clear as Black and White. You know the lies of LTTE and how they exploited you. You know how they shot you when you try to flee from their captivity. You know you are better off without them. You know what really happened. Please speak up for the sake of the truth and most importantly future unity and prosperity of all of us.
I for one am proud that the small Sri Lanka managed to win this war against the most ruthless terrorist group. The win was in the backdrop of unbelievable and unprecedented level of internal and external issues and pressures. Therefore we have to reenact the information and cyber fights all of us fought in our own way during the war to ensure that this so called UN report will not be another step in the ladder to be used in a future date by the ealamists.
This report is not an attack on a person or the leader of the country. This is an attack on Sri Lanka. All political, religious, communal, business and society leaders should speak on this issue in one voice. The Sri Lankan Diaspora should educate the friends, and colleagues of these issues and also the circumstances and motivations of the people behind this report and the campaign against Sri Lanka. Members of any party who do not support this should resign or not support the party anymore. One cannot allow anyone to capitalize their political motivations on this issue here or abroad.
We should in one voice communicate to BankiMoon in no uncertain terms that we cannot let him play with Sri Lanka to get the help of the west for him to get reelected. We should let him know that his intentions are as shameless as the Millibands who attempted to risk the future of a country to win an electorate in UK elections. He should retire gracefully without prostituting the seat of Secretary General.

We are still waiting for a UN panel to investigate 6 MILLION murdered by Americans in Vietnam war. Just don’t forget 750,000 killed in Iraq. UN is just a whore. Our planet need a impartial arbiter, or none at all.
UN is given another job by USA few months ago, that is to find a way to rob LIBYAN oil reserves. Very soon we will see more action in that front. Today, UN exist only as a tool of USA, to steal from other nations.
Sri Lanka is an independent nation, one of the longest standing democracies. In a world of dictatorships and foreign occupations, Sri Lanka is a shining light. Mahinda waged war against the most vicious terror force Earth had ever seen. What was he suppose to do? Just give up and let LTTE butcher our children? There should be an investigation in to conduct of UN in Iraq, Libya and also in Sri Lanka. Did Nambier arrive in Sri Lanka to save Prabakaran? Why no investgation on that?

Tamil terror-sympathizers have infiltrated into politics all over the world. Greedy, power-hungry Western politicians, having accepted their promised votes and “Campaign Money” (a.k.a. Terror-money), are playing to their tune, staging a campaign against Sri Lanka, fueled solely by the anger at the Sri Lankan Govt. who did not bow down to their demands to stop war to aid the terror-leadership to escape. And, Banki Moon dances to the song of his Western masters. Little do these short-sighted politicians know that these actions will lead their country towards a very uncertain future; case-in-instance: LTTE-terror-supporters who teamed up with a certain Canadian politician, recently accused him of racism and discrimination, in a well-publicized manner. This, due a disagreement between them on Sri Lanka. Recently formed, is a “Transnational Tamil Eelam Foundation” in Canada. Pretty soon, there will be separatist demands around the world, such as already seen in France and Canada. “ The West has done too little, relying on their supremacy and intimidation of poorer countries with their money, and pay no attention to the Greater Asia region of China/Russia/India. Hope it is not too late for the West”.

We all know that the UN and Ban Ki in the Moon are puppets of the USA and as most of the contributions to the UN are coming from the USA and some other rich countries, the puppet Moon has to dance when his masters pull the strings.So why the hell are we worried when the Ban Ki’s panel make a stupid report? Well said Sarath.Why we worry too much about this Stupid Banki Banki or Pillai-Pillai pair of witch hunters who were in the payroll of the evil empires. Our Presiednt should take the same stand he took during the war and tell all this bullshiters to go and hang themselves and carry on our nation building without any worry. Russia and China openly supports us therefore we shouldnt be worried too much and waste our time on these butchers.
We will show them how decent we are and forgive them for their crimes to humanity. If we go in the right path nobody can harm us.Lets be united and be free for all our citizens to live in Peace and harmony. Let them bark like stary dogs harmoniously we will stay unitedly to tame them and be victorious.

“Why worry”. We expressed similar sentiments when LTTE killed people in Kent & Dollar farms and used the photographs to convince the west that those were Tamil civilians killed by Sinhalese. We thought why worry? when the West was giving refugee status for LTTE members and their families. When LTTE was canvassing cogressmen and britsih politicians we said why worry? (There are many examples in last 30 yeas like these). The diaposra network, communication network, influence in high places, poltical clout etc. would have ended up them suceeding getting the ealam either Cyprus style or Kosovo style.
Things changed due to 9/11. Things changed due to killing of Rajiv. We at least in the recent past Hon. Kadiragamar etc. used the opportunity well before and after 9/11. Patriotic diaspora, and patriotic people in Sri Lanka did many things to counetr false propaganda during the war.
We have two options.
1. As Ranjith and Sarath has said just pretend we dont worry 9and ignore moon) as suggested and regret later in 20-10 years this very same report and the subsequent comments or the attenmtion is used to further their malicious objectives.
2. Act now and act together and act decisively as we did in 2009, and wage communication, diplomatic and other ‘wars’.
Before chosing the one please wonder as to why the TGIF, and ealam diaspora is pushing UN, other politcians, and HR forums if there is no use of this report? They know very well this is very useful piece of paper with the UN stamp on it.
If you guys are patriots please re-think about it. If you guys are seperatists using Sinahalese names, dont think we are so narrow foucussed and idiotic now.

This report(LTTE report) should be considered as report against SRI LANKA and its people like Ian says. Every idiot should understand this loud and clear and protest loud and clear before they force the EALAM on you. This is not MR business , this is about you and future generations. It is about EALAM the Tamil Nadu extension project and people of SL. This is the first step in forcing EALAM on people of SL. You act now or sorry forever.

Ian is right. We cannot afford to ignore UN Reports. Whole of Sri Lanka should send a Protest Petition against the UN Panel Report. Millions of people should sign this Petition. We are ready to do it – just post the Petition on the Lankaweb and other sites, and we will sign it.
This whole nightmare began with Tamil Caste based politics in Jaffna (from Tamil Nadu). It culminated in the organised 1983 Riots, after which thousands of Tamil people emigrated to the west. The rest is history. It’s all part of the Plan to carve out a separate state in the N&E – don’t treat it as something to be ignored.

I request Ian’s permission to address another relevant issue, however small, which I think is important at a time like this.
I am also questioning the Adaderana video in the Lankaweb site, showing a “Tamil” girl being knocked down by a ‘Govt train’.
I have some questions which I am pointing out here, as there is no way to put these questions under that particular caption as no space is provided for that, and it is relevant to this whole so called Tamil question.
How is it that the video cameraman was filming the train before the incident happened ? The film shows the train approaching the train station first – I am questioning as to how the video camera man was filming a perfectly ordinary train approaching a station at that moment, unless the cameraman was anticipating an event to happen.
The girl on the side may have heard the train, surely ? Our trains are noisy – they are not the type that glide fast silently over magnetic rails ! Usually, our train toots when approaching a station. What happened to that toot ? Also, can a train swerve to a side to avoid a pedestrian who is walking too close to the track ? It is usually expected of the pedestrians to be aware of trains running up & down railway tracks.
All this is relevant in that the girl is supposed to be Tamil. And, folks, this ‘GOVERNMENT’ train so cruelly & purposely knocked this poor Tamil girl down ! However, we are very glad that she did not sustain any injuries, whatever caused her to fall just as the train was passing her.
Note the timing for an ‘incident’ like this, when the UN Panel Report is under discussion in Colombo.
Was not the 1983 Riots also orchestrated and filmed ? the films were sent to three Tamil Ambassadors in Bonn (Germany), UK and Paris (Lakshmi Naganathan, Moorthy & Balachandran), and the rest is history. And that, folks, is how the Tamils Exodus to the west began in earnest together with the mauling of Lanka for separatism.

Exactly Aravinda, if the UN was equal to referee or umpire in Soccer or Cricket between two sports sides, you expect the referee/umpire to be as fair as possible. In this instance the incredible unbelievable bias of the UN in Judging Sri Lanka in this just war against the the most ruthless, mostrous terrorists, the LTTE and the USA with six million dead of innocent civilians is evident. UN hasn’t called any war crimes panel against the US!
On the above evidence, a ref/umpire in soccer or cricket, the bias of the ref/umpire would be so bad as in the case with the UN. That the match would be immediately stopped for a set for later date or the match resumed until they can find a competent ref/umpire.
This would be required to prevent all hell braking loose between rival players and supporter. Because the umpire was clearly favouring one side, in this case the USA.
Come on UN, if your gonna accuse Sri Lanka and set up war crimes report.
THEN IT IS ONLY FAIR THAT YOU SET UP A WAR CRIMES REPORT AGAINST THE USA FOR THE DEATHS CAUSED IN VIETNAM AND IRAQ!
Come on UN we are still waiting your bloody war crimes report regarding Iraq and Vietname. Still Watiting.
If the UN doesn’t produce a war crimes report agains the USA also then Sri Lanka

We are not unpatriotic people and we dont hide behind bogus names.My name is all over everyday as I am a fan of Lankaweb and my true name is RANJIT SIRINAGA WICKREMERATNE born & bread studied and living in Sri lanka and die for Sri LANKA my beloved Motherland. I said not to worry beacuse as long as we are all united no one can harm our beautiful nation and I am 100% sure about my President and the war heros for taking care of our land and we have the best of best around the world born to my country who will be there when we need them. Not one million all twenty four million die hard citizens who loves our motherland are ready to die to save our homeland and sign any document for the sake of our country and I am one of them and Sarath too.
If our leaders stay firm and strong then all will follow them and we can send Banki to hell same way we send Prabakaran and his murderers gang. We are stronger than Tamil diaspora if all our Sri Lankans who live abroad get together and give support at this hour of need. Be true to your Motherland and save it from evil empires.

Sorry mate. There is no way of knowing. Since the massive worldwide visibility is achieved in April -May 2009, the seperatists agenda has taken a new turn. Channel 4, BBC to many other stations and many hired whites (cogressmen, lawyers) etc. There is a special wing of seperatists whose job is to wage a cyber war against Sri Lanka. The intentions are beyond to keep their asylum. As I said there are some who come as patriots and make posts to show that Sinhalese are chavanists and anti tamil. As there are no cost of the war the amount of moeny available is huge. If you visit ealam websites you can see how much they value this Moneky report. Hence this is NOT a issue to ignore.

Take it easy Ian. Appreciate your gentlemanship. Kepp on writing and we are always their to support the good people not bad or evil. Actually I never read or go to web sites which are against our country or write lies because my blood pressure goes high when I read or hear lies when we can see clearly the plain truth in front of our eyes.
We need to educate the ordinary Tamils who have taken the wrong path and brainwashed by L.T.T.E what is right and what is wrong and teach them to take the correct path to live as human beings harmoniously with other races as we are all Sri Lankans born to our beloved country. They should not blindly believe what these evil humans preech. Our Government is giving and helping each and every citizen irrespective of race and color to live as humans peacefully. If we go to North and East we can see it with our own eyes. The Tamil politicians should not take their people in the wrong path instead they should tell them and show them how to live peacefully with others specially Sinhalese as we are all children of Mother Lanka.
This is the time they too should join the whole nation against the Banki shit and his stooges in the west for treating our blessed land with unfair,unjustified accusations. Let’s show the unity of our peaceful people and may God helps us to overcome all evils.
