Brad Adams, if violation of Human Rights is your interest, turn your attention to what USA,France and UK is doing in Libya

Brad Adams is a prejudiced individual who is unable to see things objectively, therefore the Human Rights WatchƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ of which he is the Director for Asia, cannot be any thing but anti progressive, reactionary, and far from seeking human welfare, despite its boastfulƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ label ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Human Rights WatchƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ It onlyƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-watches ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…- the interest of some groups andƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ countries, and seeks to deliberately discredit ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ and weaken the developing countriesƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ meaninglessly throwingƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ disparaging remarks on matters it is ignorant about and even refuses to understand.
All these Western human rights activists, including Brad Adams human rights watch are not interested in the ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ specially coloured ethnic community any where in the world, they areƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ working as ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ paidƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ employees.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ They work with Western Governments, and their primary interest is to give credit not to a government that fights terrorism but to the ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-terroristsƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ in defense. Of their cause.
For them terrorism as long as it does not affect them isƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ a ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…- rebellionƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ and the terrorists, ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…- the rebelsƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Therefore, in supporting the ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-rebel causeƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ they condemn the government, invariably a developing country which they would like to keepƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ in the ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…- Western OrbitƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ with a ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-puppetƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ government set up by them.
The West and individuals of the West like Brad Adams, ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ think that only those of the WestƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ or an Institution even partly composed with persons from the West, ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ could give ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚«ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ enlightenedƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚» information and make authoritative, acceptable investigations,ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ on any ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ matter, technical, military orƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ humanitarian.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ They do not accept any person however qualified coming from a countryƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ outsideƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ the Western orbitƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ is capable of makingƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ valid contributions on such issues.
How long are we willing to accept this myth they have created- only a White man takes a correct decision ?
We see that with the Ban Ki MoonƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s Panel. Its report is taken as more acceptable well examined and credible than a report from the Committee appointed by the Government of Sri Lanka the LLRC which met and interviewedƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ the actually affected people.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The Committee consisted of a member from the Tamil community.
Where as Ban Ki MoonƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s panel consisted of an Indonesian, South African and an American.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ None of them had visited Sri Lanka nor interviewed people from the areas that were affected by terrorism in Sri Lanka.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ But yet the West is making use of that report as giving the correct ground situation of the final phase of the military operations against the terrorists in Sri Lanka.
The West could go on only statements recorded or photographs produced by persons, journalists, NGO representatives, and other Westerners who happened to be in the terrorist controlled areas who were sympathetic to the cause of the terrorists.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ What they provide are doubtful evidence as far as Sri Lanka is concerned. Such as those video clips by the UK Channel 4.
Sri LankaƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ is the only country in the world that eliminated terrorist who had been defying the government ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Armed Forces, fighting gun in hand unto the last.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Even Osman bin Laden the leader of the Al Qaida who mounted terrorism in America in September 11th, 2001, was not a terrorist with a gun in his hands, like Prabhakaran the leader of the terrorists in ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Sri Lanka, ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ when he was ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-murderedƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ by theƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ JointƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Special Operations Command of the AmericaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-mightyƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ military machinery.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ They not only murdered the unarmed Osman bin Laden but also killed his innocent wife who defendedƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ him standing helplessly in front of him.
What has the great Humanitarian Brad Adams pretends he is, got to say about the assassinationƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ofƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ unarmed Osman Bin Laden and his wife on the night ofƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ 1 May, 2011 of which the former PresidentƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Bush of USA said ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚¦ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚¦.a “momentous achievement” that “marks a victory for America, for people who seek peace around the world, and for all those who lost loved ones on September 11, 2001.
“I congratulated him and the men and women of our military and intelligence communities who devoted their lives to this mission. They have our everlasting gratitude. The fight against terror goes on, but tonight America has sent an unmistakable message: No matter how long it takes, justice will be done.”
That Brad Adams was on the 1st May, 2011, of which you have apparently nothing to say, butƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ you are accusing the Government and the Armed Forces of Sri Lanka for what happenedƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ two years ago, and for killing terrorists who were facing the Armed ForcesƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ of Sri Lanka ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ with guns in hand.
Yes, Mr. Brad Adams our well disciplined Armed Forces in their rightful duty of defending the country and its people against a ruthless group of terrorists, rescuing at the same time a milling mass of civiliansƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ running pell-mell, away from the terrorists who had kept them as a human shield, shot and killed the terroristsƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ to the last one of them to finally end the suffering of a whole population, of a whole countryƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ that had been going on for thirty long years.
Nor Brad Adams, norƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Ban KiƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Moon, nor Navi Pillai, nor Louise Arbour, nor Yolanda Foster accusing Sri LankaƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Armed Forces for violation of human rightsƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ in its military operations against terrorism will ever understand theƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ tearful suffering and condition of the people of Sri Lanka ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ living every dayƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ in fear ofƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ painful death to one self , a husband, a wife, a brother or a sister returning after work , or a son or a daughter returning from school, ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ fromƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ the blast of a bomb set by a black terrorist bomber, in a bus, a trainƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ or on the way side.
Sri Lanka is a nation that was sitting on a ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚«ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ terrorist bombƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚» for thirty years, watchingƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ the deaths, murders and assassinations , until the President Mahinda Rajapakse took over the rein of government and with determination to end the suffering of the people and the possible breaking away of the country, inspired the Armed Forces to wipe out terrorism for good.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ And our valiant soldiers faced almost ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚«ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ certain deathƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚» against a well equipped group of terrorists who would stop at nothing to kill and massacre soldiers or innocent civilians to set up their dream Eelam State, and ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ yet despite all ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ those odds won the battle against terrorism.
But the West, did not took time off to evaluate the ability ofƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ a small sovereign nation with an Armed Force with a minimum of military power, but maximum of courage winning against terrorism, but began almost immediately accusing the Sri Lanka Armed Forces for war crimes in the elimination of terrorism.
Of Course our Armed Forces are capable of sharing their ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-know-how ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…- acquired after that terrible experience with other nations who may have a similar situation.
While you Brad Adams,ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ were sitting in your comfortableƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ chair inƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ a spacious roomƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ in your cozy comfort, dictating to a elegant secretary information you had read in journals or gathered from else where a draft report trying to accuse Sri Lanka Armed Forces in best possible English, you could not have imagined the suffering of the Sri Lanka soldiers-ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ crawling their way in reptile infested forestsƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ taking cover from bullets of the hiding terrorists, ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ having had no proper meal for days, drenched in rain, wading neck deep in flooded muddy waters, seeing some of their comrades swept away in the flooded water, climbingƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ earth bundsƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ where theyƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ were sitting ducks forƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ terrorist guns.
It is that experience they lived and strategies they setƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ that finally resulted in victory over terrorismƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ that they wish to share with other nations who may find themselves in a similar situation.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ For that Brad Adams they should be congratulated for their initiative which is a generous and thoughtful contribution in the global war against terrorism.
But mean as Brad AdamsƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ as the Director of the Human Rights Watch makes a deplorable statement ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ informing the 54 countries invited to attend the ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚«ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Seminar on Defeating TerrorismƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ : The Sri Lanka ExperienceƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚» organized by the Armed Forces of Sri Lanka, that ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚«ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Governments should decline the invitation to attend a Sri Lankan military conference that seeks to legitimize the unlawful killing of thousands of civilians during the armed conflict with the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE).ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚
This Brad Adams the vicious man he is,ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ has further added accusingƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Sri Lanka,ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ that “Sri Lanka’s self-proclaimed ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”model’ of counterinsurgency included repeatedly shelling civilians, targeting hospitals, and trying to prevent the world from finding out about it,” said Brad Adams, Asia director at Human Rights Watch. “This conference is nothing more than a public relations exercise to whitewash abuses. No professional, law-abiding military should take part in this farce.” ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ This is a despicable pronouncement ofƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ his ignorance of the reality.
Brad AdamƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s negative reaction to a worthy cause is reprehensible.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ It is still more deplorable as he as the Director of Human Rights, is ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ commenting on a war against real terrorists that was successfully fought and won, and ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ which is already history, refuses to see the violation of human rights andƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ breach of all legal norms ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ under his very nose TODAY in Libya,ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ by USA, France and UKƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ using theirƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ powerful NATO armed forces.
Brad Adams is it not naƒÆ’†’ƒ”š‚¯ve on your part to speak about, ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚¦accountability for abuses, from ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ the Sri Lankan government ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚¦ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚¦..ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ instead ofƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ demanding for ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ accountability for currently continuing abuses of violation of human rights in LibyaƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ by USA, France , UK combined military operation and the NATO operations since 31 March,2011ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ on the one hand, and for the ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-murder ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ of an unarmedƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Osman bin Laden and his wife in Abbottabad in Pakistan by the Joint Special Operations CommandƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ of the USA, on the other.
Brad Adams do you know thatƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ UN Security Council Resolution 1973 was only forƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ surveying the air space over Bengazi, and not to bombard Libya. But immediately after the bombardments commenced on Libya by the USA, France and UK Forces President Barrack Obama ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-asked colonel Gaddafi the Leader of Libya a sovereign State to leave Libya.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Is that the democracy you seem to support ?
Do youƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ know Brad Adams that France and ItalyƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ had said that they wouldƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ join Britain to send Military Liaison Officers to supportƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ the rebel army (Libyan terrorists) on the ground in LibyaƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ to support the insurgency leader (a puppet of the West)ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ (International Herald Tribune 21.4.2011 reported by Steven Erlanger) ?
It is also reported that , ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-Reinforcing that view American OfficialsƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ disclosed Wednesday that the Obama AdministrationƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ planned to give the Libyan opposition Dollars 25 million in nonlethalƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ assistance in what would be theƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ first direct US aid to the rebels.ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚
Does not all that amount to indirectly deployingƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ French, Italian and UK ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ and USA soldier on the ground ?ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Did they get UNSC Sanction for that ?
If not in not reminding the USA, France and UK that they are acting in contravention of the UNSecurity Council Resolution 1973, and that they shouldƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ stop further involvement in Libya,ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Ban Ki Moon, ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ SGUN is ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ in fact aiding and betting in a war by Western military powers in Libya ?
Despite the ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ UN Security Council Sanction under Resolution 1973, was only toƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ control the Libyan air space not to bomb Libya or deploy a foreign army on ground,ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Cameron the Prime Minister of UK had boastedƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ “extremely skilful and dangerous” work of airmen who have targeted dictator Muammar Gaddafi’s forces while “doing everything possible to avoid civilian casualties”.
They had dropped 2600 bombs in Libya and are we to accept CameronƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s word that no civilians had been killed, when we have reliable information that it was the NATO bombardments that killedƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Colonel GaddafiƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s youngest son and his two children.
Brad Adams as the Director of the Human Rights Watch (Asia), ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ you should request Ban Ki Moon UNSG to call a special sitting of the Security Council to demand USA, France and UKƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ NATO Forces to stop bombarding the Libyan people and stop handing over theƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Libyan Oil fields in Bengazi to French Total and British Petroleum Companies.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Both bombardment and taking over oil wells are ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ an abuse ofƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ the sanction granted by the UNSC under its Resolution No.1973.
Canada refuses to say how many bombs they have dropped in Libya , but it has been reported that, ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚«ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Curiously, the (Canadian) military has just published — publicly — a request to buy 1,300 new $100,000 laser-guided bombs, reportedly all for use in the Libyan campaign.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ So, Canadians might not know how many bombs have already been dropped, but they know how many more could be on their way.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚»
Libyan people have not revolted againstƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ their Leader Colonel Gaddafi , it was only when a fewƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ disgruntled men inƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ BengazziƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ followed a campaign against the Libyan governmentƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ imitating their neighbours in Tunisia and Egypt, that France seized the opportunityƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ to call them Libyan ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ rebels revolting against Colonel Gaddafi and recognised a few Libyans in France as a provisional Government and got together with USA, and UK toƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ bombard Libya with the intention of killing orƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ chasing away Colonel Gaddafi and place a puppet government in place to exploit the LibyanƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Oil fields.
Their rallying call wasƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ defending the revolting Libyans in Bengazi. ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ There wasƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ in fact a talk about France, USA and UK opening embassies in the rebelled control areas in Bengazzi.
Are the developing Nations ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢¢”š¬…”Sovereign States, safe from the ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-terrorismƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ that isƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ being deployed by the West, which in Libya is notƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ in reality to defend the people, but to rid a Leader of a sovereign state whose presenceƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ derange the International Community, andƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ set up a puppet government to benefit from the rich oil fields of Libya ?
Brad Adams speaking about Sri Lanka you said that, ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…- ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚¦. But these lessons will not be learned as long as the Sri Lankan government distorts the truth and tries to keep its atrocities hidden.”
Brad Adam you should swallow your own words if you cannot admit that it isƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ the USA, France and UK Governments that ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚«ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ distort the truth and try to keep theirƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ atrocities hidden.”
Brad Adams, if you are genuinely interested in Human Rights, it shouldƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ not only be the human rights of theƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Tamil terrorists in Sri Lanka, but also the human rights of the Libyan peopleƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ who are at the moment in need of help to stop theƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…- terrorism of the USA, France and UKƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚
The elimination of terrorists in Sri Lanka has turned out to be a gold mine for many, the Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, diverse journalists, Websites, are the primary beneficiaries, and then the Authors writingƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ fiction and non-fiction. Long live accusations for the employment of some Westerners and writing of books by others all sympathetic towards the terrorists of Sri Lanka, andƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ accusing the brave soldiers of the most humanitarian Armed Forces of Sri Lanka.

Charles! Great article. So-called western human right pundits are behaving like aliens in Libya, Iraq and Afghanistan invasions. They cannot see what is happening in Libya now. This is totally an invasion against an independent nation.
U.N.O and every so-called western funded human right organization are deaf and dumb on their godfathers, American and NATO cruelty. Simple reason is money ($, Euro) talks. It is a fact that Brad Adam slave cannot go against his masters. The day slave talks against his master, he will lose his job.

Libya is reenactment of Afghanistanand Iraq. In Iraq, Saddamhad WMDs. In Afghanistan, it was Taliban and AL-Qaeda.
Recently, one church Based NGO got their funds cut because it was anti-Israel. A part of their schedule was Human rights. Everywhere these Religion based NGOs promote humanrights, help people, build religious schools. All in muslims and buddhist communities.
See, how the life is 100% christiancountries. It is 100% exploitation of their resources.

Charles
Think you answered in your first two paragraphs why Brad Adams is unable to comment on Libya as he is the Director of Asia , HRW. It’s not within his remit.
Joe Stork, i believe the Director of Middle East , HRW is responsible for HRW Libya and has commented on the events in the Middle East.
Is it worth barking up the wrong tree?
May 29th, 2011 at 1:14 am
Terry,
It is not barking up the wrong tree.
A Director of HRW be it in Asia or Arab states is representative of the whole of the Human Rights Watch and should not merely comment but take immediate action to stop violation of human rights that is happening NOW instead of racking up the past in search of human rights violations in Sri Lanka.
Because there is no violation of Human rights “Now” in Sri Lanka or in any other part of Asia, is no reason for Brad Adams to go back to what happened in Sri Lanka two years ago, in a war against terrorism which was quite different from the massacres in utter violation of human rights interfering dangerously into a Sovereign State without even UNSC Sanction that USA, France and UK that is taking place in Libya.
Human Rights watch should not limit itself to “comments”, but urge Ban Ki Moon to call a meeting of the UNSC and demand USA, France and UK to stop further violation of human rights in Libya abusing the UN Resolution 1973.
Click on the following URL to instruct yourself Terry of what is happening in Libya, it concerns you also as you are defending Brad Adams:
http://www.mathaba.net/news/?x=626914
Brad Adams is a trouble raker of the worst sort calling the 52 Governments invited for a Seminar in Sri Lanka not to attend it as Sri Lanka is trying to camouflage abuses.
What happened in Sri Lanka is some thing unprecedented in the world . An Armed Force in its own country fighting a ruthless group of terrorist who held 300000 civilians as a human shield. The Government Forces had to fight the terrorists, rescue the mass of civilians, save themselves and finish off with terrorism for good. No intelligent Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, UNO, or who ever, can accuse Sri Lanka Armed forces for that. And after two years it is only history .
If Human Rights Watch continues to rake up even that history to accuse Sri Lanka Armed Forces, it had better also accuse Spain and Catholic Church for the violation of human rights, massacres and burning at stake of Aztecs in Mexico, and Peru etc.

Charles great comment! Has Brad Adams pass any remarks on India’s invasion of Sikkim. It was a gross human right violation, What about Kashmir and nagaland. Those are Indian army prisons. Why can’t they open their eyes on Sikkim invasion and occupied by Indian forces? Since there aren’t petroleum in Sikkim Brad Adam is dumb.
What about Diego Garcia? Has he ever had any remarks on British and Americans, forced evacuation of Diego Garcians to unknown regions for a Navel base. If this is not a human right violation are there any bigger human right violations in this world. This is second only to Europeans forced removed of African human for slave trade. Why not so called human right pakeer Brad Adam is dumb on these issues.
What about Bin Laden killing in front of his daughter? Isn’t it a human right violation to kill an unarmed suspect? Even American President Obama and Hillary Clinton had enough facilities to order seal team to produce Osama before the courts without killing. Where was Brad Adam lived on 1st of May 2011? Had he gone to moon with Ban Ki Moon. But Moon, moo and approved with the tail, a killing of an unarmed suspect, to show his loyalty to his master yankee, forgot he was the UNSG.
How come they had a sea burial to a human without the wish of the person? Sea burial procedure is special and unique. Just throw some one’s body is not a sea burial. What is Brad Adam’s definition of throw someone’s body to the sea? Brad Adam who approved every human right violation of Yankees, Pommies and Indian Monkeys are now trying to teach us human rights.

Charles,
Thank you for referring me to the URL.
I do read and watch the mainstream media not sure i gained any insight into the plight of Libyans by reading an obscure blog.
The point i wished to make was that its not within Brad Adams remit to comment on Libya.
http://www.hrw.org/en/news/2011/05/27/libya-rocket-attacks-western-mountain-.towns
Closer to home, 2 years, 5 years or even 10 years- There will be an investigation/enquiry preferably a credible Sri Lankan one. However much we deny this now, there will be one. Naturally it will not take place during MR’s watch. But there will be one however much we scream and shout about it now.
Just look back at the history. We have short memories.
May 29th, 2011 at 11:58 am
well said Charles. Bogus HR groups should be exposed.
May 29th, 2011 at 7:05 pm
What Brad Adams wants is to create the same situation as in Lybia in Sri Lanka. Eventually Gadafi will get killed. What a beautiful Lybia that was distructed in three months to a pile of rubble. Brad Adams is after HE MR. Now, who funds Human rights Watch? How was Bard Adams Selected to this job? When ever he opens his mouth Sinhala must attack his statements just like Charles does.
May 30th, 2011 at 12:28 am
Human rights watch dogs should watch their back side because we know who they are and who finance them to do all the one sided dirty jobs they were doing. They never fight for the truth. They have to do what their paymasters instruct them to do otherwise they cannot keep their posh jobs and their rich life styles. For killing millions and torturing thousands of innocent human beings in IRAQ,AFGANISTAN,LIBIYA and other places around the world by terrorists regimes like USA, FRANCE, BRITAIN were not human rights violations for them. Thousands die daily by bombs of these big powers, countries breaking in to pieces, riots, violence all over the world, people dont have food to eat, tornados, floods, earthquakes etc.Nature too against us humans because of negative things happening in this evil world. All the big powers should be blamed for all these disasters and they will pay one day for their sinister behaviour towards the human race. Brad Adams or Brad Pitt will never know when their end will come by siding with the evil empires.
May 30th, 2011 at 3:44 am
Terry ref to your comment on 29th May. For what purpose the inquiry or investigation in Sri Lanka. Is it for the defeated a terrorist gang. Sri Lanka successfully defeated terrorists. But not only in Sri Lanka, terrorism has to defeat in entire world.
Can’t you remember that Sri Lanka army saved the lives of more than 300,000 tamil civilians and tamil militias used as human shield to cover LTTE leaders and their family members. LTTE kept them in front of LTTE camps to get them killed. Haven’t you seen those innocent civilians saved by Sri Lanka army?
May 30th, 2011 at 6:18 am
Terry,
I can understand your penchant for main stream media rather than obscure blogs.
I think differently, the main stream media is more subjective being more oriented towards the big power blocks caring less for the welfare of obscure “small people” of the developing countries. The West used positive values negatively to derive benefits for itself. One gains more insight from the obscure and the poor than from the powerful and the rich.
Even Jesus who came from a poor family of a Carpenter, a son of god , an angel of peace, was used negatively by the West as a means to dominate the world.
The Western colonialists took with them the Missionaries to convert the native savage heathens, and then to subjugate them.
It is the same the West is doing today, with the Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International , International Crisis Groups consisting of elitist snobs in place of the Missionaries, who care less for the ethnic groups or the underprivileged, but looking to control and keep the developing countries dependent on them.
Yes these Humanitarian Activists supported by the pro- terrorist Tamil Diaspora seeking to divide Sri Lanka to establish their Eelam, hope in 2 years, 5 years or even 10 years there will be a regime change and the West will have their puppet regime with their own Committees to investigation/enquiry with Investigators credible to the West, Brad Adams and the rest.
Yes these changes, the Human Rights activists are hoping for will not come during MR’s watch, that is for sure.
But it is doubtful whether it will come later. The West expected to become the World power after breaking up USSR, and doing their best to break up China…but today both China and Russia have gone beyond the expectation of the West.
Yes we have short memories Terry… there are groups in the West who deny the existence of Hitler’s holocaust.
May 30th, 2011 at 12:40 pm
Hey Terry, I think you have signed up to the wrong website. This website and its readers and commentators do not defend. Globalist criminals like US, UK, and France and others who are committing warcrimes under Nuremburg courts right now. In Libya. Sri Lanka defeated a real bunch of terrorists took em on and consigned them to the dustbin of history at the same time defending and being careful that no civilians were killed in Sri Lanka’s military operations. I think you will not find a more morally fought military operation than what the Sri Lanka Army, Airforce and Navy managed to do anywhere in the world in the last 100 years in defeating a brutal blood thirsty enemy like the LTTE while at the same time protecting the human rights of civilians in the warzone. Now compare that to the Nazi like atrocities committed by the military forces of the USA, UK, France, Isreal over the last 10 years I think this bloody Brad Adams scumbag is barking up the wrong tree and terry please don’t comment on this site again unless you have the intelligence and moral compass to see who the murderous criminals are.
May 30th, 2011 at 5:15 pm
It is difficult to be a mere viewer when the Terrorist Rights Watch jokers like “Terry” tries his usual funny monkey business here. So “Terry,” please tell us why you are so concerned about LTTE terrorists while you have shown little of no concern about tens of thousands of innocent civilians killed by LTTE terrorists using most brutal methods methods like beheading, slicing, dicing, dropping infants on hard surfaces etc. Where were your TRW jokers those days? Are these people any less human than LTTE terrorists to be qualified for your attention? I don’t have lots of kind words for buffoons like you. Just cut the crap and get lost!
May 30th, 2011 at 7:42 pm
I too think there will be an “investigation” into events leading to May 2009 in future. This is not what I want but this is what will happen. UNP will win one day. It is a certainty. Then they will be pressed by their uncles and biological grandfathers in the west and the Tamil Diaspora to do an investigation on their terms. Guess what, UNP leaders will find it a marvelous tool to punish, ridicule and discredit their opponents. This WILL happen. Even Gonzeka threatened to do a similar thing during the election campaign targeting both GR and MR. Thank god he lost but the clowns with him will win one day. Logic, morals, etc. won’t work with these immoral barbarians (terrorists in the Tamil Diaspora, western meddlers and Colombians).
We have to ensure that this is not going to affect SL and our heroes.

It is the responsibility of well paid individuals like Brad Adams to perform their duty to protect the rights of all humans whether they are liked by the Western Nations or not. Through his silence on war crimes committed by the West against powerless people in Afganistan, Lybia, Iraq, Serbia, Palestine etc, Brad Adams himself is guilty of war crimes.
