Really, itƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s an exceptional, unforgettable & emotional moment. Everybody both students & trainers were with tear welling eyes. Newly selected students for university entrance who have victoriously concluded their worthful and wonderful ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-leadership training and positive thinking development programƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚, departed from their paradises with new vision, fresh ideas, genuine aim to achieve the goals, and to face new challenges, etc., towards hoping to enter their respective alma matters.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Yes, itƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s absolutely true that at the beginning most of them were in dilemma, and reluctant to participate in the training program due to false, weird, and baseless rumors propagated by some envy elements. They tried to draw a wrong picture and defined this great leadership course as a kind of military training program by using weapons. But, their futile attempt failed to obstruct the high participation of students to this program, which is conducted by the Ministry of Higher Education, under the guidance of His Excellency president Mahinda Rajapakse and the patronage of Minister S.B Dissanayake.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ During their time period at the training camps in country-wide reputable military personnel,ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ they made a cordial friendship with attendees and associated with those future leaders as brothers, sisters, guardians, as well as teachers, instructors, and showed their high disciplined behaviors. Ultimately trained students were reluctant to leave the respective camps as they perceived that they had gained vast experiences from this wonderful leadership program. In my perspective, it is the best investment contributed by the Government for the future of Sri Lanka.

According to what I have seen and heard so far, I do not think that this investment would bring any fruitful dividends like many of our previous such wasteful investments.
The second batch is presently undergoing training and once that is over, I will tell in details as to why this is a wasteful investment.
In the meantime; have a look at the link given below.

This kind of training is available even here. Only unfortunate part is media and politicians labelled it military training.
It is does not matter if people di dnot use it right away of out of thousands attended only a handfulwould use it one day. Still it will be worth.
Here, how to avoid procrastination, time management and report writing are some other things that are taught.

Well said Claude. We predicted this long ago. This is how most people feel about it.
A few sadist anti-socials think otherwise.
They always end up defeated and deserted.

If the success of this venture is determined solely on the basis of the attendance then I agree that it is a roaring success.
Had the parents / children given an option of choosing, then I am sure the turn up would have been much different.
The intimation sent to children clearly says that at the end of the training, a certificate will be issued confirming that the training have been successfully completed and that certification is a mandatory prerequisite for admission.
After so much investment, I doubt no parent / child would take a risk of not attending.
Unless the structural deficiencies mentioned in the original write up are addressed correctly and as early as possible, I am afraid that this venture too would also joined thousands of such doomed ventures in the past.
