It cannot get any funnier than this. This latest fake attempt matches perfectly well with fake communal demands. Faked videos collected by Channel-4 are compiled into one hour-long fake documentary. It was aired at the Geneva office of the UN Human Rights Council and thereafter on UK national television. Technical analysts have given detailed accounts of why the main feature of the Channel-4 documentary is faked. Any layman could see that it has been doctored. Sounds and movements are not in sync. It is not possible for any mobile phone to record a video clip with such a disparity. Background talk has no relevance to what is happening in the foreground which is another reason why this lame production cannot go past experts.

There is absolutely no evidence to indicate that the victims being shot at were Tamils and their murderers were Sri Lanka army personnel. Moreover, there is no indication that this happened in the island. Obviously there is no time frame of the event either. Those who enacted this cheap morbid drama ensured that the gun bearers donƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t talk. This is a very popular tactic of impersonation since voice is a sure indicator of imitation. Had they talked, it would be too obvious that they were not army personnel. Tamil Tigers were notorious for killing captured army personnel and stealing all their belongings. Not just their uniforms, but even their boots were stolen. Tamil Tigers carried out many terrorist missions wearing the uniforms of security forces personnel. For instance the 2001 terrorist attack on the nationƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s only international airport at that time was carried out by Tamil terrorists wearing Sri Lanka Air Force uniforms. The 2007 terror attack on the Anuradhapura air force base was carried out by terrorists wearing Sri Lanka Army uniforms. Tamil Tiger terrorists wore the Special Task Force uniform and Sri Lanka Army uniform when they launched a suicide bomber attack on oil storage facilities in 1995. It is only too obvious who enacted this cheap drama at a time when they faced certain defeat.

However, Channel-4 officials and others who opined their views stating the video is genuine know very well that it is faked. There is no way they could miss the telltale signs of doctoring video clips. If they accept the fact that itƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s fake, the story ends there. Media channels that sensationalise anything will have no business and human rights busybodies will also not have any further business. So they pin hopes on the obviously faked clip for their business needs. The bottom-line is yet another discrediting attempt against the nation state of Sri Lanka and to sustain the Tamil hate campaign.

Tamil communal demands of Tamil homeland, Tamil grievances and Tamil aspirations are equally fake as their fake videos.

Dozens of Tamil separatists around the world languish in prisons for the crime of terrorism and associated crimes. Not a single Sri Lankan security forces member is imprisoned abroad for any such crime. This is an undeniable fact. UN General Assembly, the UN Security Council and the UN Human Rights Council refused to believe all concocted stories of war crimes. Unable to come to terms with this hard fact, Tamil Diaspora activists are on a mission to discredit the good name of Sri Lanka.

Nothing should be granted to those who demand various things quoting this fake video and other fabrications. All terrorist organisations have an armed wing, an unarmed ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”peacefulƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ wing of beggars and a civilian wing of weepers and wailers. None of them deserve any mercy as they are playing their part in the whole terror plan. When they get nothing, they abandon this game plan and shift to another. If anything is given in return for their demands, this process will continue. They will produce more and more videos and extort more and more things from a merciful government. However, mudslinging campaigns of Tamil separatists must be countered coherently. Their agents in the island must be punished. Above all none of their demands must be granted. Only then will they overcome these cheap morbid dramas.

Meanwhile the UK government has granted half a million pounds for the good work carried out by Sri Lanka Defence Forces in reintegrating LTTE terrorists to the mainstream society. It is clear proof of what the British government believes in despite their geopolitical double games. This small gesture has left hate mongers in the Tamil Diaspora speechless. Sadly not all terrorists get a chance at rehabilitation.
