Dear Sir,
A video showing some men in army uniforms shooting naked persons looking very much like Europeans is being telecast all over the world these days. I remember this video came out about six months ago and they alleged that this was ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ the work of Sri Lankan army.
The government did nothing about it and now the same is coming ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ out with new vigour with war crime charges. There must be many ways to disprove it.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Take an average cross section of LTTEers in detention and show ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ the world that our tamil ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”boysƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ are not that well built and ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ very fair. In the same frame we can see some structures, one looks like a water tower, at the back ground.
Is there such a jungle area in Sri Lanka with water tower at the back ground similar to the one shown?. Then our army must be familiar with it. The strange thing is that these lies told thousand times have now become true and our army spokes persons cannot adequately defend themselves.
I was saddened by the manner the military officer stumbled ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ when replying ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ the Chennai Indians on the television show telecast in India today.

I do not undestand why Sinhalese communities in the west are unable to chellenge this video’ authantication publiclly by hiring one lawyer, without that they will not go away. Western courts are still free and at least this come to public. Lankawebsite is not a popular website in the west nor popular media outlet in the west

Jyat, you are right. Our politicians are making big noises like threatening to take channel 4 to courts just to please the masses in Sri Lanka. No one out side Sri Lanka seems to to be listening to them.The longer it takes the government to take some action more and more foreigners will be convinced the armed forces committed war crimes.

That is absolutely true; More the Sinhalese go backward, more they come forward and more the Sinhalese come forward to challenge more they go backward.
