Keheliya Rambukwella has alleged to have said at a cabinet briefing that KP is somewhat fully rehabilitated (.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ (The Nation ; 10 July 2011). ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ To the extent beyond somewhat border line. he is still a hard core terrorist with blood in his hands. Can we trust him? No. there is saying among the Tamils that ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-only Tamil that can be trusted is a dead one and one in a photoƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚. ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ (not ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ mean to insult)
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Kumaran Pathmanathan with so many aliases and most popularly a.k.aƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ KP in the LTTE circle is not an ordinary person but clever (to pass thro so many countries with false passports), skillful (building a fleet of ships for LTTE from crap), cunning as a fox and excellent maneuver (Many westernƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ politicians, UN officials, Human Rights Activists obliged to him for may be known reasons).ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ He is applying all his skills now to go a free man. He was the live wire and financial controller for years (after the disappearance of Thilagar (Paris) in Wanni)ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ behind the LTTE military operations in Sri Lanka. It was KP who was totally responsible in prolonging the war by timely supply of illegal arms to the Tamil Tigers. If not for his scandalous operations in procurements of arms illegally and shippingƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ them to LTTE, narcotic trade, human smuggling, money laundering and managing a fleet of ships, this war against Tamil Tigers could have ended very much earlier provided that we had the right leadership at that time like President Mahinda Rajapaksa. We cannot forgive KP for the horrendous crimes committed by Tamil Tigers which resulted in thousands of deaths of our soldiers and thousands of innocent civilians which he was playing a major role..ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ His involvement with LTTE is much more horrendous than a LTTE suicide bomber.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ KP is a smart scoundrel who had tens of aliases and visas and roaming for years from one country to another without being caught at the customs until he was kidnapped and arrested by the SL intelligence. He is a skillful Artful Dodger in Oliver Twist. He cannot get way with the fact his involvement with LTTE did help to prolong the war. His skillful art of procuring illegal arms and supply them to the doorstep of ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Prabhakaran had directly helped to prolong the war resulting in deaths and destructions of civilians, fighting cadres of both etc. I believe the Government is naƒÆ’†’ƒ”š‚¯ve in allowing him to run a NGO (North East Development Organization) promising a hundred acre land (whether this land has already been given , I donƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t know) on the pretext of helping the LTTE victims. I donƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t think that this is his way of accepting guilt. There is more to it and he must be having a completely different agenda. He may turn the proposed hundred acres to NEDO into a training ground for another terrorist outfit , who knows. Like the charitable organizations operating in the west under dubious names turned out to be LTTE fronts, his NGO can also be a LTTE front and someday, this NGO will become another terrorist ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ sibling of LTTE. We should be mindful of such situations (and not a day dream) knowing well the Modus operandi of the LTTE and their very active Tamil Diaspora. But, one thing ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ assured is that the ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Tamil Diaspora will never send their rich kids to Sri Lanka to fight for another Eelam War and they will want the poor Tamil children in the North again to fight for Tamil DiasporaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s Elaam. ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Sri Lanka cannot rule out the fact despite the LTTE is conclusively annihilated that thereƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ wonƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t be another terrorist outfit springing up someday to fight for a separate State for the Tamils led by Kumaran Pathmananathan alias KP?.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ In the name of those soldiers who sacrificed their lives and limbs for Sri LankaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s territorial integrity; in the name of the thousands of innocents who lost their lives on atrocities committed by LTTE, the Government without any hesitation should bring charges against KP (and if the existing laws do not permit, bring new laws with retrospective effect)ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ for his major role with the LTTE terrorist outfit. If he is kept under lavish house arrest at the expense of the tax payers money prolonging for unlimited years, the Tamil Diaspora will take such opportunity with International Community to bash Sri Lanka that KP is being kept indefinitely without any charges.. We should not leave any ammos for the Tamil Diaspora to act so.

There is a genuine danger of this 11,000 “rehabilitated” terrorists joining with “rehabilitated” KP to rehabilitate the LTTE into a fighting force.
There are 89,000 Tamil (mostly LTTE Mahaveer) war widows in the north-east alone. They MUST remain humiliated in the society. It gives a powerful signal to the others not to take up terrorism. If they do, this is what will happen to their family when the LTTE is no more.
The most foolish thing the government can do is to look after them well which gives the signal to other poor Tamils in Vanni that EVEN the government looks after LTTE Mahaveers and that is the way to assure their families a comfortable way out.
By treating Mahaveer widows as badly as we possibly could (they do the rest), we can send a signal to budding Tigers not to let down their families as what has happened to the Mahaveer widows. Giving into their demands is the most foolish thing to do. If the government thinks KP will do any good, it is so dumb. He is waiting in his wings; waiting for his time to come to relauch the war.

KP was know as “james Bond”. All what he is doing now with the Govt: is make a plan to skip away. If KP skip away then it will the total responsibility of the Govt: With vast money still he is holding in oversea he can re-grope. Do not trust any Ex-LTTE. Have fail Trial and put KB behind bars for the rest of his life for the crime already committed

Relationship with KP, SLG is ignoring the Other forces (Tamils,Sinhalese & others) who supported defeating the LTTE in Sri Lanka and abroad. Terrorism can cheat everyone and kill own mother also. My opinion KP is a man behind Terrorism,war and deaths of innocent Tamils and Sinhalese. Sometimes comes President of TGTE

Elephants take revenge after long wait from his enemies likewise L.T.T.E can do the same if we dont watch out their backs. Terrorist is a terrorist rarely a terrorists become a good one. Look at Al qaida and other terrorists after release from prison they go back to the killing fields. We must not pity or give pardon to anyone responsible for mass murder and terrorist activities in the country for so long.
No one should take our win against L.T.T.E murderers lightly. We should be greatful to our heros and to the current Government for their stand against most cruel,barbaric terrorist outfit in the world. ALL the previous Governments palyed with Terrorists and allowed them to dance according to their tunes but not the one under the current President Mahinda Rajapksa. K.P or P.K we must not trust them too much. If we Sinhalese are united we can beat the hell out of them if not we can expect something in the future because of cowards and traitors like Wickremebahu,Ranil,J.V.P,TNA and the clowns supporting the terrorists in our country.
