ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The Previous contents of Insight By Sunil Kumar dated 4th AugustƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ relating to the Tamil National AllianceƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ needs to be reiterated in retrospect as almost coincidental with what The GovernmentƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ has indicated thatƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ it would not meet TNAƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s 10-day ultimatum to keep talks on devolution on track with Economic Affairs .
Minister Basil RajapaksaƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ has unequivocally lambasted the TNAƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ (once and perhaps even now a front for the defunct LTTE) for playing politics at the expense of the Tamil community. A call which needs to be echoed from the mountain tops to be heard throughout the land for all Sri Lankans concerned about Sovereignity and territorial integrity as it could imperil these very concepts of utmost importance to Sri Lanka if the TNA were given any leeway to propagate what blatantly appears to be torch bearing for a lost cause and could easily translate to Eelam if one reads between the lines.
The previousƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ call relative to a similar frame of mind with that of Minister Rajapaksa and outlind by the article which follows was made by another Minister Champika Ranawake whose terms of address were perhaps more aligned to the futility of the TNA demanding what was not an entitlement based upon LocalƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Council Election Wins !
To demand the right to shareƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ governance, the allocation of subjects and functions of the Centre and Provincial Councils and issues relating to financial devolution there seems to be no jurisdiction or provision for the TNA to make such demands whatsoever and a mere agitation of the Tamil Community with intent to cause mischief is the rational inference that can be attributed to these ignominious demands and a matter well within the scope of the Government’s prioritiesƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ needing no helping hand or reminders fromƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ a former LTTE proxy as the inferences are tantamount to unwarranted demands with no entitlements to the privilege,
and rabble rousing at best.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ As a quickfire response to the TNAƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s move, by Minister Basil RajapaksaƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ he has berated the TNA, which in his words and perhaps an accepted National observation ” that TNA did nothing to alleviate the sufferings of the Tamil speaking people during the conflict was nowƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ hell-bent on destabilizing post-war Sri Lanka with all the backing from Tamil Diaspora and the global Tamil lobby against Sri lanka which needs to be put into perspective.
In his latest public address atƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Vavuniya, Minister Rajapaksa hasƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ emphasized that the Government would neverƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ permit or tolerateƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ the TNA towards achieving what he calledƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ “ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ narrow political aims.” to which one can safely add the termƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ “towards benefittingƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ agendasƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ based on the idealogies of the LTTE” intolerable in post conflict Sri Lanka where the Hon. Minister from Gampaha DistrictƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ reiterated the UPFAƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s commitment to the well being of the Tamil speaking people visibly apparent through much of the President’s directives towards the objective, although their elected representativesƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ seem to beƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ still pursuing a separatist agenda, an appropriate and accurate summation for which the Hon. Minuster needs high praise!.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚
In spite of eradication of terrorism, efforts were being made to obstruct the ongoing national reconciliation process, the minister alleged. He urged the TNA not to cause chaos as part of its overall political strategy as the GOSL has sufficient reasons to believe thatƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ the TNA could be acting at the behest of foreign elements to pressure the government. The TNA, which at gun point once
recognized the LTTE as the sole representatives of the Tamil speaking people in the run-up to April 2004 parliamentary polls, appeared to have forgotten the past,ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ where ironically many analysts have observed that realisticallyƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ the TNA did not have the wherewithal to even sit at a negotiating table with the Government had the LTTE survived the war. This then was theƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ reality that seems to have been overlooked or deliberately swept under tha carpet by certain global supporters now urging their champions towards what seems to be a lost cause.

“Minister Basil Rajapaksa has unequivocally lambasted the TNA (once and perhaps even now a front for the defunct LTTE) for playing politics at the expense of the Tamil community.”
Wow!
I can only imagine it. Well done. Basil is a very far-sighted politician.

It is extremely audacious for the TNA to give the Government 10 DAYS TIME TO REPLY, in TAMILCHELVAM STYLE. Who the hell do they think they are ? They are the rump of the LTTE SCUM, who misled the ignorant Tamils again, to install the ideologies of the megalomaniac VP.
This damning TNA scum has a habit of running to INDIA, to talk about Internal Affairs of Sri Lanka, and probably expecting India to intimidate and to force Sri Lanka to hand out their moronic aspirations on a platter. IDIOTS.
I do not think these TNA Clowns comprehended the message of the Honourable Minister Basil Rajapakse, who gave them straight off the bat.
TNA can be equated to the MUGATIYA running to India, to come back riding on the SUDU MUGATIYA, for the final count down. MEGOLOMANIACAL DREAM EH ?
Prime Minister Manmohan clearly stated to that Clown Vaiko, that India will do nothing of the sort, to bring about any variance of mutual feelings and respect, and Honour, between Sri Lanka and India. WE SRI LANKANS GREALY APPRECIATE MR. MANMOHAN FOR TAKING THAT RESOLVE. He has the right mind-set for a Prime Minister.
So, TNA SCUM, will come empty handed, probably losing even their under-wear. JINGLE BELLS, JINGLE BELLS. JINGLING ALL THE WAY, (from India)

When LTTE was there and, now TNA and their overseas living supporters are exploiting their own poor and weaker living in the N & E..
I cannot understand why when every capable and powerful Tamil, I mean overseas living or Tamil politicians, is trying to Screw up Sri Lanka and Sri Lankan Leaders, particularly Rajapakse clan, why we should worry about their poor and weaker. when their own is neglecting them why we we should care for them.
Just forget them and look after the Southern. People in the South suffered since 1971 from JVP and then from LTTE. They lost a lost and they are not complaining and they just went trhough it.
I think, there should be a limit for every thing.

Tamil Politicians,, LTTE, Global Tamil Forum, and Transnational Governmentof Tamil Eelam are directly or on indirectly connected with network of world Terrorism. Innocent Tamils never understand the backround und realface of persons who say they protect Tamils from Sinhalese. The politic of SL Tamils is like a Football.
The players are TNA,Tamilnadu,India and Diaspora Tamils. The Sri Lankan Governmet like a defender
not damage the unity and peace of Sri Lanka by those eliments play with life of innocent people.

The Government is being overly conciliatory to the TNA mainly due to International pressure over the false allegations and anti government propaganda orchestrated by the disgruntled Tamil Diaspora using means such as the channel 4 video etc. who never give up their objectives towards secession in Sri Lanka for the Tamils which is really a lost cause. Now the TNA has become their champions in place of the LTTE and on the basis of the TNA once being an LTTE proxy the response should be – once a proxy always a proxy- and outlaw the TNA unless they take an oath of allegiance to be supportive of the Sri Lanka Administration. Their arrogance needs to be scuttled and reminded that what goes on in Tamil Nadu has no place in Sri Lanka! If they wish to dance to the tunes of the likes of Jayalaliths, Vaiko and the rest of the motley bandwagon campaigning against Sri Lanka they should relocate to Chennai ! It also needs to be borne in ind that there are good Tamils both in Sri Lanka as well as overseas who do not want any part of this and need to be respected and protected!

As usual like LTTE demanding unacceptable powers, TNA who were direct representatives of LTTE who are filled with RACISTS TAMIL EXTREMIST IDEOLOGIES are trying to dictate terms because they won 18 seats. As usual MAJORITY OF THE TAMILS BELIEVE THAT LTTE,TNA are their sole representatives.
The simple question I raise is ” WHERE THE HELL WERE THESE TNA REPS WHEN LTTE WERE BRUTALLY KILLING SINHALESE INNOCENTS, MUSLIMS & TAMILS???
Also “WHERE THE HELL WERE U ALL WERE WHEN LTTE WERE KEEPING ALMOST 300,000 CIVILIANS AS THEIR CANNON FODDER””
Worse than that,” WHERE THE HELL WERE U ALL WHEN LTTE WERE ABDUCTING THEIR OWN TAMIL YOUNG CHILDREN FOR THEIR ARMY??
Also “WHERE WERE THESE BxxxxxxD WHEN THE LTTE WERE SHOOTING AT INNOCENT TAMIL CIVILIANS TRAPPED WERE TRYING TO ESCAPE LTTE CUTCHES???
There should be no mercy to these hypocrites.
