I just read the Sri LankaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s Daily Mirror report titled, ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…- LLRC doesnƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t address all allegations: US.ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  And it continued to say, ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-The United States Government said on Monday (19 December 2011) that the Lessons Learnt and Reconciliation Commission report does not address all allegations of human rights.ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚

Well, Victoria, all that is a bit of Yankeeing around poking your American bully-fingers into another sovereign countryƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s internal business, isnƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t it.?ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Coming out of you, isnƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t it true that you Yankee-doodle-dandiesƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ are at fault, when you all have still not produced a War Bible ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢¢”š¬…” How to Win a War without Killing Anyone for Dummies.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Nor has the smart-Alec UNƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s Secretary-general Ban ki-Moon produced a War Bible ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢¢”š¬…” ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-How to Win a War without Killing Anyone for Dummies or else I will Moon YouƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚, either.

IsnƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t it the lack of ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ such a ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”US War BibleƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ that was the ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ very reason why when your Yankees invaded Iraq looking for Weapons of Mass Destruction, the excuse given for the invasion of a sovereign country, that no such weapons have still been found and that invasion was on a lie?ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  But what you and I saw was the loss of over a million (1,455,590) lives of innocent Iraqis in this high-handed world policing exercise.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  And now comes the revelation that 2,500 of them were massacred by US troops. And according to the article in New York Times, US leaders, diplomats, refer to this loss of civilians of Iraq as collateral damage.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Ha!ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  So why all this nonsense, yankeeing about Sri Lanka? ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ 

Of the 1.5 million American soldiers that cycled through Iraq, 4,487 were killed and tens of thousands left with debilitating physical and psychological scars.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  And Ouch! this war has cost you Americans some $1 trillion and you are still counting. And Ouch! again, as IraqƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s President Jalal Talabani and Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki did not show up at the departure ceremony to publicly thank the Americans for ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-Operation Iraqi Freedom.ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-Iraqi Freedom, my foot!ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  So all these items should amount to lessons learnt by you Americans for bullying other nations.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  And then my question to you Victoria is, will your lot ever learn when you all have an entrenched mind-set that ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”might is rightƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢?

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Victoria, what if Sri LankaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s President parrot the US leaders and diplomats and say to your President, ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-Hey! Barak, all those deaths during the last couple of months of intense fighting to finish off the most ruthless terrorists in the world, the Tamil Tigers, were collateral damage.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Remember, the 2,500 collateral damage killings in Iraq by your soldiers?ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ Sure, a War Bible coming out of your President Barak ObamaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s office ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢¢”š¬…” How to win a War without Killing Anyone for Dummies, would have assured us that not a single Iraqi would be killed during that invasion and I wouldnƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t have snickered at you about it now. ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Right, Victoria?

Victoria, letƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s try to make sense of you AmericanƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s crotchety attacks on Sri Lanka.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  You are unfairly singling out Sri Lanka after the LLRC had cleared the military of deliberately targeting civilians during the last phase of the war.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  And you Americans demanding that Sri Lanka settle immediately war accountability issues.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  And this is where the word ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”international bullyingƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ fits the Americans like my winter glove, when you all do not criticize other countries that have been much slower in dealing with similar post-conflict situations.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  So whatƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s the hurry Victoria?ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  It is time that the international world acknowledges that Sri Lanka has performed miracles for its 22 million peoples since eradicating the most ruthless terrorists group in the world on 19 May 2009, whose perfected strategies and tactics have now been copied by the rest of the terrorist world, which have killed thousands of your soldiers in Iraq, and Afghanistan. Osama Bin Laden was just a pussy cat compared to the ruthless Prabhakaran of the Tamil Tigers.

The question that I like to ask you is when the last phase of the war was a humanitarian war to liberate 300,000 Tamils who were herded like unwashed cattle for 30 months from the west coast of the island to the east coast by the running-away-for-their-lives, land-mines-burying-Tamil- Tigers whose butts were getting whipped by the Government soldiers, you seem to be scripting the events unfairly for an American Horror Movie.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Not fair! When the soldiers were carrying feeble Tamil grandmothers and grandfathers like babies in their arms, dodging Tamil Tiger bullets to safety, how dare you Yankees accuse the Sri Lankan armed forces for targeting the Tamil civilians deliberately?ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Phew! That is a far cry, isnƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t it Victoria?ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  They saved 300,000 Tamils, Victoria and doing so the armed forces lost over 700 of their men for this humanitarian gallantry. And, now you slap them for doing just that.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Not right, Victoria!

Let me tell you something, Victoria, and I am pretty sure of my self when I tell you that the International Human Rights Industry CEOs like, Brad Adams (HRW), Sam Zarifi (AI), Louise Arbour (ICG) and Navi Pillai (UNHRC) seem to have found that Sri Lanka is a nice pay cheque earner for them and does not bring on the opprobrium that will sure come if US, NATO human rights violations are brought up.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  If there is ever an inquiry letƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s investigate the dynamics of the entire war which lasted 360 months, and not just the last two months.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  And letƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s also go after the sponsors and funders of this war that ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ killed 100,000 innocent civilians and maimed for life many tens of thousand others , like the US, Canada, Norway, UK, France, Germany and India, just to name a few.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  That will be hilarious wonƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t it? The revelations would shock the whole world, wonƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t it?

And I am prepared to put my neck out to be guillotined if I am wrong with this statement, that the Ban ki-MoonƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s Darusman Report would not hold water with the truth as it would be so weak ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ even to prosecute a thieving rat caught red-handed with a piece of cheese stuck on its snout.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  It was a falsified cut and paste job from the propaganda material against Sri Lanka mainly from the TamilNet, and it is a pack of vindictive lies from people who were thrown out of Sri Lanka for wiring false reports about Sri LankaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s war.

Reading between the lines of what you had to say, I see that the US has demanded a clear roadmap for establishing accountability for human rights violations during the last phase of the war.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  That is the period when the US, UK, France, UN and Norway tried to get the Tamil Tiger leadership out of the country to fight for their Eelam another day.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  But donƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t you think, Victoria, that you Americans had abdicated your moral rightƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s crown long time ago to flex your muscles on puny Sri Lanka, when the American dossier on human rights violations has been appalling and still not seen the end.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  When it were you Americans who put in place dictators like Pinochet, and murderedƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  CongoƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s patriot Lumumba in cold blood, and literally blew the brains out of babies at My Lai during the mass murder in South Vietnam.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Just think about it as you all cannot sweep that Human Rights violation dossier under the White House carpet. I remember and the world remembers!

But for the majority of us who are applauders, and not the cranky whiners who think that they are the World Police of Human Rights, the made in Sri Lanka LLRC Report constitutes the only roadmap for a durable peace and a better future for that island nation and its islanders.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  So let the Sri Lankan government get on with the next phase of their vision for the country and let’sƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ encourage them to act soon and positively in implementing the recommendations.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  The US should keep encouraging and watch with glee the progress in their roadmap for lasting peace.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  And remember Might is not always Right. You know it and so does your bosses, the Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and President Barak Obama know it.
