Udaya Gammanpila and Handunnetti say India must refrain from enforcing its might on its neighbour Sri Lanka.
India must change its behavioural attitude and learn to respect the territorial integrity of Sri Lanka. In the past Pakistan and China pointed their fingers at India when India interfered in to the internal affairs of Sri Lanka. Visiting Indian politicians have made it a habit to conduct lectures to GoSL. Indian High Commissioners Dixit and Nirupama Rao treated Sri Lanka as the seventh state of India. Then there was uproar in Sri Lanka against Indian bullying. This pattern of Indian bullying has become a regular event since Indira GandhiƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s creation of terrorism against Sri Lanka.
GoSl is scared to antagonise India and expect the pressure groups to respond. The parippu drop, 13A and creation of Terrorist group are acts of valance against a foreign country which represent a serious breach of International Law and contributes to the war crimes.
GoSL is unable to offend India because of their dependency on Indian aid package in reconstruction of the war torn country. GoSL has no guts to tel India that it is not an aid that India is providing Sri Lanka and it is the damages and compensation for the 70,000 lives and the 30 year war and Terrorism created by India. In spite of all this IndiaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s protectionist attitude of Tamil community in Sri Lanka is discriminatory against all other communities in Sri Lanka. During the time Terrorism the entire country suffered from the Terrorists LTTE. Then why only the North and East to receive reconstruction and devolution of power. What about the Sputh? If India is only worried about the Tamils of the North, why canƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t they be accommodated in Tamil Nadoo. Those refugees at the drop of the hat run back to India are not the Sri Lankan citizen. They are the Tamil Nadoo citizen brought in by Vaiko, Nedumaarn gang to build up the numbers of Tamil people in the North. GoSL is turning a blind eye as GoSL has no backbone to fight the Indians. The GoSLƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s subordinate to India attitude is taken as a weakness by India and continue to lecture Sri Lanka.
The statements made by Udaya Gammanpila and Handunnetti must be highlighted in the Indian news media.
IN PLAIN AND SHORT GOSL MUST TELL INDIA THAT NO 13A, NO DIVOLUTION OF POWER AS THERE IS ONLY ONE NATION IN SRI LANKA, THEREBY THERE IS NO ETHNIC ISSUES EXISTING IN SRI LANKA.

We don’t want apartheid, as proposed by TNA.
Any Sri Lankan could live and work anywhere in the Island. Way to solve this is, use of Government land in North and East to resettle Sri Lankans who support an unitary state. All attempts to start an Eelam war should be nipped in the bud. Shall we say, “mandatory death penalty” for inciting separatist violence? If not, we are in for another spate of violence from the LTTE remnants very soon.

The GoSL is playing the diplomacy, indirectly telling the Indians that GoSL knows how to run its affairs by saying 13A plus with the introduction of the Senate for the whole country. Thereby the North & East only demand of the TNA gets dispersed in the thin air. Why North & East only take the whole country as one unit. That is the only way to tell the Rasists TNA and the filthy Indians to F… off.

TNA should be referred to as Tamil Nazi Apartheid (TNA).
Before 2009 they were Tiger Nominated Agents (TNA).

Stanley Perera you are correct. MR is playing Indian “Panchthantha” diplomacy on rasists TNA and the filthy Indians. Keep talking 13 & 13 plus or 14th. MR & Company knows how to tackel our Traditional enemy filthy Indians [North or South] during our history.

Those who live abroad specially in the West can do a lot to keep India at bay.
In the eighhties Sinhalese and their supporters went and demonstrated in front of the Indian Embassy in Canberra.

President Rajapakse and the victorious leadership of the present Govt as well as the Security forces, must not allow the peace loving citizens of SriLanka to lose confidence in them by not standing up to Indian manipulations in internal affairs and also SriLankan politicians with underworld and LTTE connections, operating with impunity.
Just like Prabakaran dragged on the conflict till SriLanka found a leader who could eliminate his bluff, SriLanka now needs a leader who could put an end to Indian Govt dragging the reconciliation issue by making unrealistic demands, such as devolution of powers to a minority group from South India, intially brought to SriLanka by colonial rulers and recently their numbers bolstered by Indian politicians such as Vaiko and Nadumaran who transferred boatloads of South Indians to SriLanka with Prabakaran’s support. First step is to send back these Indians to India. It is time the President stood up to Indian cunning and demand they help the entire country and not only the North.

We can’t do it to-day or to-morrow. GoSL has to first rehabilitate the Sinhala and Muslim people in the North. Then comes the development process. Thereafter reconcilliation process. All these will take another 30-50 years. Once that is completed we can consider listening to the TNA. Untill such time keep talking to the PSC. so be patient mates.
