Under the heading ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-TNA welcomes international mediation for future negotiationsƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚, Daily Mirror carried the news item on the 28th January edition.My comments were the following which I would expect them to publish,but I have my doubts that Daily Mirror being a highly PARTIAL MEDIA SUPPORTIVE OF LTTE, will not publish this.As a PATRIOTIC SRI LANKAN, I present this to your site,being very OUTSPOKEN, to PUBLISH IF THIS IS GOOD FOR MAJORITY SRI LANKANS!!!

TNA still are in the same mentality of LTTE TERRORISTS.If the TNA MP’s are Sri Lanka CITIZENS, they should behave like that instead of going to India,Tamil nadu and outside mediation for Sri Lankan matters.They are a lot of BAD EGGS who are not worried about the Tmils in North.That was CLEARLY DISPLAYED WHEN ABOUT 300,000 INNOCENT(some of course) CIVILIANS WERE KEPT AS A BUFFER,THESE MPs NEVER INTERVINED WITH LTTE TO GET THEM RELEASED.Its the Sri Lankan Soldiers at the risk of their lives who SAVED THEM.

Dear Jay, I saw that article,captioned, ” TNA welcomes International mediation for future negotiations ” Disgusting to hear such evil comments.
These TNA ‘ our souls ‘ cannot, and will not, abandon the writ given to them by that Nandikadal Mud-Sucker Maniac. All they need is POLICE POWERS, and LAND POWERS, nothing else. From there, they will build up their dream.
That MUD-Sucker had Police Powers and Land Powers and the whole country witnessed what they did with those powers. It was abuse Ad-Infinitum. It were the Valiant Soldiers of the Forces, and the Police, that exposed their life and limb to retrieve those powers back. We will not forget they put their life on line for the sake of the country.
SO IF EVER THE GOVERNMENT SLIP UP, TO GIVE THESE ‘ OUR SOULS ‘ POLICE POWERS AND LAND POWERS, IT WOULD BE TANTAMOUNT TO TREASON, AND BETRAYAL OF THE TRUST OF THE VALIANT FORCES.
HIS EXCELLENCY THE PRESIDENT, IN NO UNCERTAIN TERMS TOLD THE TNA “OUR SOULS’ THAT HE WILL NOT AGREE TO GIVE POLICE POWERS AND LAND POWERS AT ANY COST. THAT STATEMENT IS SEALED IN EVERBODYS MIND.
It is the irresponsible Politicians who are making idiotic statements to the Media, and confusing the minds of the people.
The very idea of TNA wanting International mediation, is akin to calling foreign ‘our souls ‘ to come and rule Sri Lanka. Their intentions have to be watched very carefully.
His Excellency has to nip it in the bud. There should be a Media release by him, to the effect that, THERE WILL BE NO LAND POWERS AND NO POLICE POWERS TO THE TNA AND THE UNP AND THE JVP. PLEASE TREAT THIS AS A FINAL DECISION.
This should be carried as Head Line News in all papers and electronic media. This whining by the aforesaid ‘Our Souls ‘ must stop once and for all.
TNA IS TERMINALLY ILL.

TNA is a Political Party that should have been banned immediately after the elimination of terrorists in April, 2009. Unfortunately the dilly dallying of the government has left us with this TNA headache.
If the Government were to ban it now we do not know how the anti Sri Lanka West would react. Perhaps a civilian may file action against the TNA, for a verdict against its continuation as a political party as they have shown by action and verbal expression their determination to get an International probe in to the internal affairs of a country which may perhaps be argued as treason against the democratically elected Government.
They will act just like Prabhakaran, asking for the impossible knowing that it will not be granted and thus continue an anti Sri Lanka Campaign forcing an International intervention.
They are apparently attending the UNHMC in Geneva, which would be very embarrassment to the Government which has already got to face a very aggressive anti Sri Lanka lobby.
The other possibility is a massive manifestation against TNA in the country including Jaffna.
The SLFP should if possible get UNP as well to carry out an aggressive anti TNA Campaign in Jaffna. If UNP would not join SLFP should continue a propaganda campaign against TNA highlighting what the Government has done in Jaffna and the East for the betterment of the people, and withdraw their support to TNA which would be detrimental to the progress in these two provinces.

Agree with you except the last paragraph.
SLFP has no support in Jaffna. At most some EPDP activists will come and others have to be brought from other areas.
It is Jaffna people who sustain TNA racists, not the other way round.
Why can’t you understand this FACT?
TNA is a PEOPLE’S PARTY. It has been winning elections under different names since 1947, every election except the 1994 election which was won by EPDP as it was confined to army camps in the north.
SAME thing happens in Tamil Nadu. They too vote ONLY for racist parties.
The more racist TNA is, the more popular it will be in the north. The more racists AIADMK is the more votes it gets.
Without changing the PEOPLE, you cannot expect to take down the TNA. If non-Tamils are the majority in the north, TNA would be losing its election deposit too.

Thanks Susantha and Charles,I have been reading and appreciating your voices with respect to Sri Lankan govt as real PATRIOTS.As a person being on a foreign soil have been witnessing how my Mother Lanka’s Great President, Def Sec along with the Heads of Forces how the war was managed with lot of sacrifices of Sri Lankan Soldiers.During that period these bandits TNA MPs never ever protested against LTTE for having 300,000 innocent civilians as cannon foder,never protested against recruiting minors for LTTE Army by abducting, etc etc and also openly said that LTTE was the sole representatives of Tamils.After becomming Sri Lankan Parliamentarians, having signed the OTH OF ALLEGIENCE TO SRI LANKAN CONSTITUTION,these bandits have been carrying on activities totally against that OATH.As you all aggree, I’m too confuesd as to why the Sri Lankan Govt keeps silent.

If not these vultures will never stop their anti Sri Lankan War going to every corner in the world enjoying all perks offered as Parliamentarians at the EXPENCE OF MAJORITY SINHALESE TAX MONEY.
I feel majority Sri Lankans are FED UP WITH THE SILANCE OF SRI LANKAN GOVT!!!
