Dear Sir:

It is not only Blake that does “doublespeak”. What about the spokespersons of the U.K., Canada, EU and Australia? No doubt as seen at the UN in Geneva at the present sessions, it is the U.S. that has spearheaded the resolution,ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ which is a veiled attempt to interfere in the internal matters of a sovereign country. It is these same countries that brought the resolution againstƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  against Sri Lanka in 2009 fully supported by the Commissioner for Human Rights in Geneva.

The irony is that the attempt to interfere and impose their will on Sri Lanka, against the will of the people of Sri Lanka,ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ thus depriving the human rights of all Sri Lankans is being done at the Human Rights Council. This is the third attemptƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  at this council against Sri Lanka and this time the so-called “super-power” is leading the charge against Sri Lanka no doubt hoping that their “might”, as they believe that might is right, underhand methods such as attempting to bribe Sri Lankan army officers to provide them with statements, as wellƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  as their knownƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ history of buying other countries, and fundingƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  NGO’s to carry out their policies will induce others to vote against Sri Lanka. The NGO’s are present in full force and ironically are attempting to influence votes by canvassing delegates accompanied by none other than representatives of the LTTE fronts in these western countries. That says it all – they are just spokespersons of the left over LTTE just as Blake is.

It is obvious that the U.S. is not interested in the human rights of the people of Sri Lanka and certainly not Blake who was the primeƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ mover trying to save the leadership of the LTTE so they could continue to terrorise Sri Lankans, ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ or human rights in general when one considers the documented gross violations of human rights in all parts of the world where the U.S. and their NATO allies are operating. The constant excuse after killing civilians is “war is war” – just stated byƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ L. Panetta in reference to civilian murders in Afghanistan. Collateral damage is another excuse trotted out at every turn. As for American justice, the whole world is aware that those U.S. forces responsible for pre-meditated murder have not been found guilty in the U.S. In the judgement for the killings in Haditha the leader was not even discharged from the military. These actions speak volumes about U.S. concepts of accountability and justice.

There is a constant shrill demand for accountability by these western countries from Sri Lanka but they show no accountability for their own violations of the human rights of countless millions. When will they show accountability for the fact that it is citizensƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ of their countriesƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ who ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ for decades funded LTTE terrorism in Sri Lanka and that they were publicly supportedƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ by their politicians?ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  These countries are ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ collectively responsible for thousands of deaths in Sri Lanka. When will they investigate and provide accountability?ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Rather than acknowledging their hand in terrorism theyƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  continue to violate the rights of all Sri Lankans to reconcile and live in peaceƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ under the guise of human rights which conceptƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ they clearly do not believe in. These western countries just use it to harass others.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ To this end they are using the UN which is supposed to promote peace as evidenced by the U.S. resolution against Sri Lanka.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Paid NGO’s would have us believe that it is for the benefit of Sri Lankans. I am sure that Sri Lankans know that the only benefit is forƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ these NGO’sƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  continued funding.

The result of the final vote will indicate to the world whether they are going to be controlled and dictated to by these western countries who have a proven record of not believing in human rights in their actions, show no accountability or transparency or support the founding principles ofƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ the UNƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  which is toƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ treat all countries equally, applying the same rules to all whether big or small, rich or poor and defeat the emerging principle that “might is right”. Blake and his western supporters should be told that adequate measures to addressƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ reconciliation and accountability in Sri Lanka is for Sri Lankans to decide on and implement, that U.S. and other western interference in the past merely prolonged and aided LTTE terrorism,ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ and that it is the actions by the U.S. and other western countries that are being directedƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ towards regeneration ofƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ LTTE insurgencyƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ as evidenced by the fact thatƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ these countries are lobbying at the UN against Sri Lanka with the front organizations of the LTTE in the west.

Yours truly,

Every possible trick is done to reignite terrorism in Sri Lanka, give a new lease of life to LTTE and start slaughtering our children again. USA is trying to gain a foot hold in Sri Lanka, with intention of destabilizing and retarding the economy.

Sadly, worlds most armed nation, USA, is becoming curse of this planet. Only few days ago, two teams of American soldiers entered Afghan villages and murdered 16, mainly women and children in a revenge attack. They burned bodies and fled. Now we are told Superman did it. A man who could be in 2 places at the same time did it. Whole crime and fleeing took one hour. Whole Western media takes this ONE MAN story, said it so many times, now it is truth. It is only websites like LANKAWEB got guts to question these lies. What happened to GREAT WESTERN FREE PRESS? All Bull!

World’s No.1 debtor; with 8,000 billion dollar debt to China, now acts like all ungrateful debtors. Hate the benefactor. Hate China. Disrupt Chinese economy. There is a better solution for USA. Work hard. Reduce your consumption. Save. Pay your debts. Live like other nations of the planet. Robbing OIL is not the solution.
