Breaking News from India suggests that while the stand of the Ruling BJP relative to the US led finger pointing at Sri Lanka At The UNHRC sessions in Geneva appears to be supportive and in favour of the accusations, one of the Opposition parties the RSS has said on Sunday that India should not support the US-sponsored resolution in the UN against the Sri Lankan government on alleged human rights violations, calling it an attempt by the West to dictate to a democratic government.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ While demanding that the Indian government should make its stand clear on whether or not it would support the move, the RSS, however, maintained interestingly that ” India should take an ‘unequivocal stand’ against the US resolution. sasying “If India baulks today and adopts a ‘neutral’ position, it would find itself in the dock one day. India by its geo-political position must take a robust stand against the West interfering in issues not concerning them directly. There is no case for the US or any European nations to dictate to a democratically elected government,” which was reportedly published in an RSS editorial of the latest issue of its publication and voice engine the ‘Organiser’.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Perhaps words of wisdom with insight into the futility of the US viewpoint and direction which only has the so called Channel 4 “Killing Fields, a cruedly compiled string of graphically enhanced presentations by Jon Snow a known sympathiser of Tamil activists loaded with improbable lies of doctored video clips whose creator has already been apprehended, and the innuendo laced Darushman report whose transparencies and flaws have also been exposed by many experts and a panel of acclaimed British Journalists led by Mr A Gill including a strongly worded contradictory response recently by the important personality of Mr. Gordon Weiss, UN spokesperson and rep. stationed in Colombo who is purported to have had first hand information on many matters related to LTTE activities as well as the Armed Forces as his stay in Sri lanka was concurrent with the peak of the LTTE insurgency. There are also the the coercions of the powerful global Tamil Lobby with links and sympathies to the Tamil Tiger terror group of Sri Lanka who were clinically disposed of by the Government of Sri Lanka which has a hand in all this and what the fuss and bother is all about in reality with the US, UK and EU on apparently indecisive tenterhooks which in the end could prove to be a worthless dispensation of hot air as Sri Lanka will surely resort to managing her own internal affairs already acclaimed by many World powers as remarkably succesful in the aftermath of the 26 year old internal armed terrorist insurrection !
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The RSS has started that “India should not support this attempt to humiliate a nation within a world forum that belongs as much to us as it does to the West” showing greater insight into the related realities than the ruling Indian Party who seems torn between righteousness and the compelling urge as many previous incumbent Indian parties had a reputation for. Namely to collude with the garrulous politicians of Tamil Nadu who seem to want to make it their business to run the internal affairs of Sovereign Sri Lanka where they would probably be better off inviting all Sri Lankan Tamils who feel affronted by National Policies and the compelling need to create disharmony in Sri Lanka to hop across the Palk Strait to Tamil Nadu and set up residence there.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Interestingly, the RSS editorial is quoted as accusing LTTE of committing atrocities on ethnic Tamils and appears to support the Mahinda Rajapakse government which crushed the outfit whereas the BJP has always spoken against the present Sri Lankan regime on the issue. The RSS editorial has further asserted that
“While accusing the Sri Lankan government of human rights violations, one must remember that the enemy was not a hapless, unarmed group of peaceful activists. The cadres of LTTE were armed to the teeth with the latest machine guns, rocket launchers and tanks. The last few weeks of the war that are under scrutiny now witnessed a pitched battle in which both sides “killed and got killed unrestrained. The number of child soldiers LTTE chief V Prabhakaran recruited and trained has not been documented. Boys and girls were picked up at an unsuspecting age, fed on a liberal dose of LTTE literature enumerating the torture and humiliation of the Tamils by the Lankans and were prepared to ‘fight’ on the command of the well-structured LTTE ‘army’.” The BJP has not uttered a whimper in response to all this and if they are contemplating supporting the UNHRC accusations against Sri Lanka after all the evidence presented here they are obviously blinkered as well as hearing impaired and need restitution towards the impediments post haste and their sensitivities revamped to incorporate what is needed towards the true perception of related realities where it all boils down to the coercions of Tamil Nadu and none other to be precise !!
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The aforementioned observations of the RSS have come at a time when there are reports of a footage showing Prabhakaran’s 12-year-old son being shot brutally by the Sri Lankan Army but there are convincing contradictory reports that it was the LTTE under the orders of its leader Prabhakaran that carried out the killing where the Army has been falsely accused and knowing the brutal modus operandi of the LTTE not hard to believe. The irony of it all is the manner in which the US and other partners in accusation of Sri Lanka have been hoodwinked by the illusions presented them rather than making their own rational choices and conclusions based on circumstantial evidence which if they cannot accept maintain the decorum of at least being non commital rather that making laughable examples of themselves.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ That the RSS is vehemently against the US resolution at the UNHRC sessions in Geneva relative to Sri Lanka seems a foregone conclusion toward the outcome which India will probably regret if the choice is affirmative on India’s part and the outcome perhaps no more than a recall to increase the parametres of the LLRC towards appeasing the international community which once again is part of an ongoing internal program of the GOSL where hopefully the wisdom of the RSS will in all probabilities prevail!
