Jayalalithaa’s Terrorism

With reference to the increased level of attacks against Sri Lankans in Tamil Nadu, it could be said that having succeeded in defeating the threat of the LTTE in Sri Lanka the country is now facing Jayalalithaa’s terrorism. Because Sri Lankns have a short memory regarding the manyƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ anti Sri Lanka acts by both Tamil Nadu and the Indian GovernmentƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ as well as statementsƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ by politicians that India is a friendly neighbour, it is appropriate to remind Sri Lankans that it was theƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Indian Government of Mrs. Gandhi that used the Tamil Nadu Government to assist itƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ in training the LTTE into a terrorist groupƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ to destabilize Sri Lanka and led to the terrorism of the LTTE whichƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ continued for thirty years. This policy was then followed by her son Rajiv Gandhi. It was the Government of Tamil Nadu that even voted funds in parliament to provide for LTTE terrorism without any attempt by the Central Government to stop such actions because it was India’s policy. ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ When Prabhakaran was surrounded by the Sri Lankan army in Vadamarachchi, it was the Central Government supported by Tamil Nadu that rescued him and took him to Tamil Nadu where he was welcomed. In all these destructive acts against Sri Lanka the governments of Tamil Nadu and the Indian government were closely linked. It is not any different today.
The news reports of today indicate that there has been another incident in Tamil Nadu against Sri Lankan pilgrims. That all these acts of thuggery are instigated and supported by the political parties in Tamil Nadu is obvious. Jayalalithaa’s hatred towards Sri Lanka is evidenced by the fact that she could not tolerate a group of young Sri Lankan school children playing soccer in Tamil Nadu. Although she claims to be doing all this for the Tamils of Sri Lanka, sheƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ continuously triesƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ to deprive Sri Lankan Tamil fisherman of their livelihood and treats Sri Lankan Tamils in Tamil Nadu with contempt.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ In the face of such open hostility and lack of basic human feeling from Jayalalithaa, the Central Government has still to take her to task. It is obvious that the Central Government is unable to control Tamil Nadu and that for the sake of political survival it is content to sacrifice Sri Lanka as it did at the Human Rights Council in Geneva in March. The Indian Government chose to follow the anti Sri Lanka line dictated by Tamil Nadu. The Indian representative even went so far as to state that India and Sri Lanka had a history of thousands of years of cordial relations, which every Sri Lankan knows is a bare faced lie because history proves that it has been thousands of years of threats, invasions and attempts to subjugate the country and make it a part of India.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The politicians and governments of Tamil NaduƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ continue the tradition ofƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ threatening to invade Sri Lanka, divide the country to provide KarunadhdhiƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ withƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Tamil Eelam in his lifetime whileƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ the former spokespersons of the LTTE namely the TNA keepƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ rushing toƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ TamilƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Nadu at every turn to get Tamil Nadu to use it’s influence with theƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Central Government to achieve it’s goal of Eelam as envisioned by the LTTE. In all this ongoing hostility from Tamil Nadu the Central Government is either unable or unwilling to act or is using Tamil Nadu once again to destabilize Sri Lanka.
The travel advisory by the Sri Lankan Government for Sri Lankans not to travel to Tamil Nadu should be considered as the start of aƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ newƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ policy by Sri Lanka of dealing with Tamil Nadu and the Central Government. It is time that the GOSL review the policy of visas forƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Indians particularly those from TamilƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ NaduƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ travelling to Sri Lanka.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ India requires that Sri Lankans travelling to India get visas but India has not adopted the same policy towards Sri Lankans travelling to India.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ It is internationalƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ practice that countries reciprocate on visa requirements.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ If the GOSL is serious about protecting it’s citizens it should require Indians travelling to Sri Lanka, particularly those from Tamil Nadu, to get prior approval from Sri Lanka. Jayalalithaa demands that the Central Government get herƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ consent before approving anyone from Sri Lanka visiting Tamil Nadu or other parts of India even though they have been granted visas. Unless the Central Government is going to devolve the power of issuing visas to the states in India, this practice should have beenƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ condemned by the Indian Government but it has still to act. In the absence of such action it is incumbent on Sri Lanka to consider steps to protect the country and it’s citizens by vetting the influx of the hordes of Indians coming to Sri Lanka. All Indian business ventures should be evaluated using the knowledge that India is not a friend but has proved again and again that it is a hostile neighbour and that it has been India’s goal to “control” Sri Lanka for it’s benefit and not for the better good of Sri Lanka.
To wait for or expectƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ the Manmohan Singh government to pluckƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ up the courage to make Jayalalithaa fall in line is futile.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The Indian Government used Tamil Nadu against Sri Lanka and now the Tamil Nadu Government in turn is dictating Indian policy towards Sri Lanka. In all the years that the people of Sri Lanka suffered the extreme terrorism of the LTTE to suit India’s policy,ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ the general public of India nor their opinion leaders showedƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ any concern so Sri Lankans can notƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ expectƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ concern from themƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ now.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The IndiansƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ must feel that to the rest of the world it makes India look like a superpower in the region.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Sri Lankans can only expect that it’s own Government act to safeguard them and the country from the machinations of IndianƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ politicians and their thugs.
Yours truly,

I agree with Wimal Weerawansa on this who blames India for ALLOWING anti-SL attacks.
“Minister Wimal Weerawansa says that “organized violence” against Sri Lankan nationals in Tamil Nadu, cannot be carried out without the assistance of the Indian government.
The silence of India’s central government and its inaction over the incidents is a cause of regret for the Sri Lankan people, the National Freedom Front leader said.”

All banks based in Karnataka have Kannada versions of their website. But there is not a single bank in Tamil Nadu that has a Tamil language website. Most of the Tamil Nadu leaders are not Tamils.
MGR’s mother tongue is Malayalam. Most of the leaders including Dakshinamurthi ( aka Karunanidhi), Anbumani Ramadoss, Krishnasamy Veeramani, Kumaresan Duraisamy(aka Nepoleon), Arcot N. Veeraswami, Vai Gopalsamy(aka Vaiko) and A K Natarajan are from Andhra Pradesh and their mother tongue is not Tamil but Telugu.

Falling at actress turned politician Jayalalithaa Jayaram’s feet or touching them as a mark of respect is almost a ritual for many of her followers. Touching or falling at the feet of elders to seek their blessings is customary in India.
But in the case of Jayalalithaa Jayaram, Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (ADMK) sycophants have taken this practice to ridiculous levels. Even party veterans older than Jayalalithaa Jayaram prostrate themselves publicly.
Jayalalithaa Jayaram likes it and encourages it.That’s why the sycophants do so. Jayalalitha Jayaram also utilises this act to humiliate people.
In one instance Sattur Ramachandran who had left ADML and criticised Jayalalithaa Jayaram returned to its folds again. The media was called in to witness the return of the prodigal. This man Sattur Ramachandran was a big – made man with a very big moustache was required to prostrate himself four times before a smilingly – seated Jayalalithaa Jayaram with his bristling moustache rustling her toes under the pretext that the photographers had not got a good shot. The picture was released to all the media.
Like Imelda Remedios Visitasion Romualdez (aka Imelda R Marcos) – Filipino politician and widow of former Philippine dictator Ferdinand Marcos, Jayalalithaa Jayaram herself had a fascination for footwear. There were media reports and pictures of her thousand shoes, sandals and slippers.
A funny feature are the sycophantic references to her feet by party men when commencing their speeches. In a disgusting spectacle they begin by paying homage to her “Golden Lotus” feet .
Jayalalithaa Jayaram is often criticised about is her arrogance. Jayalalithaa Jayaram is virtually a dominatrix with party people and treating them like her minions and serfs.
There was a time when Jayalalithaa Jayaram would be the only person sitting on a stage while others would remain standing or seated on the floor. Later Jayalalithaa Jayaram dispensed with this practice but allows only selected people to sit next to her.
At inner meetings of the party Jayalalithaa Jayaram remains seated while the rest sit on the floor or remain standing. There have been press conferences where her ministers stand behind her with folded hands while she sits on a sofa.
During election campaigns Jayalalithaa Jayaram goes around on whirlwind tours in her luxurious trailer – van. Short roadside meetings are held where candidates have to stand on a stool while she talks. Even former Congress central cabinet ministers like Mani Shankar Aiyer had to undergo this.
There is no inner party democracy in the ADMK. Jayalalithaa Jayaram appoints, removes, transfers, promotes, demotes, expels and recruits at her own discretion. Ministers were appointed, fired or shuffled according to her whims. Jayalalithaa Jayaram’s wish was the party’s command. None dared to disobey let alone defy.
Jayalalithaa Jayaram is an autocrat who does not tolerate criticism. She looks down upon the media and brooks no dissent.
After MGR’s death Jayalalithaa was quite vulnerable. It was then that she realized she had to assert unquestionable superiority over her party people to remain in control. The followers had to be put in place as inferiors. Soon she became an authoritative figure. She grew into her role and her inherent traits of arrogance came to the fore.
She humiliated her followers to show who was boss and trampled them underfoot.

Jayalalithaa Jayaram is a dictator. Jayalalithaa Jayaram wants every one to say “yes madam” or else you are dead. In her last government it was a great comedy. She changed ministers so much that many didn’t even know what portfolio they had.
She dismissed entire government work force. The next stupid thing she did was to dismiss all transport employees and the public bus transport in Chennai. Thousands were left with no way to go to office. They were stuck and very terribly stuck.
Jayalalithaa Jayaram does have her favourite people and she works for them. She also has the record of leading one of the most corrupt government. Hey! We Tamils are great looters. Jayalalithaa was born into a Tamil Iyengar family on 24 February 1948, at Melukote, in Pandavapura taluk of Mandya district, Mysore State (now Karnataka). In accordance with Iyengar custom, she was given two names, thus, her other name is Komalavalli. Her grandfather was in the service of the then Mysore kingdom as a surgeon, and the prefix Jaya (the victorious) was added to the names of various of her family members to reflect their association with Maharaja Jayachamarajendra Wodeyar of Mysore.

Many Tamilnadu & Indien politicians are securing more and more assests for their Families than considering
the future of the Nation. LTTE Terrorist established strong relationship with many Indien politicians.
To get support and reasons to cheat India all of them cooperated to disturb the Sri Lankan.

At Saturday’s elections MORE Tamils are going to vote for UPFA.
This is a change from previous elections.
TNA can’t even get 40% of the vote in Batticaloa. This is the ground situation.
Have Tamils become less racist?
No. TNA racists were not allowed to do their racist election work by Tamil armed groups. Good job. There is no other way to handle them.

Karunanidhi and jayalalitha’s tactic of rousing racial and ethnic tensions in Tamil Nadu has backfired….. Foolish hooligans from Tamil Nadu have gone berserk, attacking Sri Lankan (Tamil) pilgrims.. No more pilgrims will go to TN any more… Thousands in TN will lose their way of earning a living….. in turn, they will turn their wrath on the eelam hallucinators, karunanidhi and jayalalitha…
It is high time these two insane racists learnt their lesson…

travelling to tmailnadu is dangerous. so sri lankans should avoid travel to tamilnadu.people also should not do business with tamilnadu. those who bring sarees etc should be taxed heavily as commecail goods .this will discourage people brining sarees etc from tamil nadu.
most of drugs are bought from tamilnadu.goverment should take steps to produce these medicenes.all the patriotic officers should reject the tender bids from tamilnadu companies or their agent for drugs equipment etc.small retailers should boycott wholesale traders who are tamilnadu agents in pettah.

Will Jayalalithaa Jayaram call for an end to Sri Lanka – India cricket matches? Will New Delhi be asked by Jayalalithaa Jayaram to shut the trade between Sri Lanka & India. Will New Delhi be asked by Jayalalithaa Jayaram to shut its high commission and two consulates in Sri Lanka and trade links with Colombo. Will Indian tourists be told by Jayalalithaa Jayaram to boycott Sri Lanka?
The anti-Sri Lanka tendencies Jayalalithaa Jayaram is fanning in Tamil Nadu for sure will have long-term consequences for New Delhi.
