US and its allies are trying their level best to divert the attention of nations from the humiliating defeat at the hands of Mujahideen and subsequent withdrawal from Afghanistan. In a recent attempt, Nicholas Donabet Krisof, in his recent article entitled ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-Exploiting the Prophet,ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ published in The New York Times on 22 September 2012, made another blasphemous attempt to get his name written in the list of heroes. He writes, ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-PISS CHRIST,ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ a famous photograph partly financed by taxpayers, depicted a crucifix immersed in what the artist said was his own urine. But conservative Christians did not riot on the Washington Mall.ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ The writer asked a question to his readers, ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-So why do parts of the Islamic world erupt violence over insults to the Prophet Muhammad?ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ In fact, by initiating a new debate Kristof tried to kill two birds with one stone. One the one hand the writer insulted another Prophet of Islam and Christianity while on the other he has tried to depict that Muslims as violent on the issue of blasphemy while Christians are not. For a minute, one can always consider that Nicholas Kristof has written this article is sheer innocence and is totally ignorant of importance given to the Prophets of Allah (God). But have to weight his article in the light of bitter on ground realities.
LetƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s not talk about Prophets but ordinary folks in US, UK or any other country. What would be the reaction of Nicholas Krisof, his brothers & sisters, parents, other relatives and friends if ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-PISS ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚¦ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚¦.ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ is a famous photograph partly financed by taxpayers, depicted a photo of his mother or father, immersed in what the artist said was his own urine. I am sure that in the name of freedom of expression, neither Kristof nor any of his well wisher would like to have a look on that photograph and allow other to see it. What about another idea about a movie of his mother or father on same lines of the blasphemous evil attempt, which is under protest throughout the world?ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Kristof wonƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t be having courage to keep silent in order to satisfy some of the sons of Devil (Satan), which Jesus Christ rightly attributes to some of his followers. Kristof should also not forget that for the Muslims, all the prophets are equal in all respects and the blasphemy law is applicable even to their cases.
If we recall, a similar attempt was also made in India in February 2010, which was timely condemned in my article entitled ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-We canƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t allow anyone to do this.ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ The Meghalaya Police seized around 120 books with blasphemous pictures of Hazrat Essa Alhe Salam (Jesus Christ) from a distributor in Bara Bazar and the principal of Christian missionary School. The offensive picture was found in a cursive writing exercise book used by Class I students of St. Joseph Girls Higher Secondary School in Shillong, Meghalaya. The cursive writing book meant for Class I was a spelling tutor, where ‘Idol’ was used for ‘I’. Against that word, a picture of Jesus Christ holding a cigarette and a beer can was shown. The picture was also printed in cursive writing books of Class II, III and IV. All the Muslims organizations condemned the publication and demanded action against all those involved.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ To further elaborate, if we compare a Prophet with a queen or king the later stand nowhere. LetƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s take an example of a queen to get a better idea what should be the minimum respect of Prophets. It is on record that in 1637, an English writer named William Prynn wrote a book that criticized the queen. He was brought before a panel of judges, who pleaded him guilty of libel and ordered life imprisonment and his ears were cut off before he was dragged to the jail. No doubt, that against those who believe in religion First Amendment was introduced in the Constitution of US but arenƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t we forgetting laws of defamation, libel, breach of confidence to privacy.
The present blasphemous movies is linked with another similar attempt in the past, when an Indian newspaper Statesman’s Editor Ravindra Kumar and publisher Anand Sinha were guilty of reproducing an article from the UK’s Independent Daily in 5 FebruaryƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ 2009 edition. The article was entitled: “Why should I respect these oppressive religions?” The author, Johann Hari wrote; ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-I donƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t respect the idea that we should follow a ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”ProphetƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ whoƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚¦ ordered the village of whole village of Jews because they wouldnƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t follow him.ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ Although the newspaper committed an offence under Section 295 A of Indian Penal Code, which is non-bailable but court granted bail to Ravindra Kumar and Anand Sinha as if nothing has happened. Regrettably, when Muslim carried out protest demonstration in front of the office of the Statesman, Indian Police used baton charges several times to disperse the crowd. The western media gave a lot of projection to the incident if some wonder has been done by the newspaper. It is irony that despite riots in UK and all over the world, Johann Hari was adamant on his blasphemous writing, claiming, ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-Despite these riots, I stand by what I wrote.ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚
In fact, it is not a war between civilizations nor war between religions but a war between evil and righteous. Dutch politician Geert Wilders who was facing trial for inciting hatred and discrimination against Muslims was acquitted of all charges by a Dutch court in June 2011. I we recall in September 2008, over 20 churches were burnt or vandalized in Mangalore, Udupi, Chikkamagaluru, and in other districts of Karnataka. The assailants had damaged Catholic Churches, Protestant churches and Kingdom Halls belonging to JehovahƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s Witnesses groups. Some days back, unidentified persons set a church in Mardan on fire. The attempt was condemned by Muslims all over the country as Muslims have been ordered in holy Quran not to destroy Churches, Temples, Mosques and other religious places. It needs to be understood that Christian community equally condemn the blasphemous movie and demand action against the pastor and the filmmaker. However, the Church was intentionally burnt by anti-Islam faction to dub Muslims as extremists and narrow minded.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ One need to comprehend that there is a war going on, not only against the Muslims but all those who follow the religion in true spirit. There is a requirement be cautious of black propaganda by Cyber Commands of free world, which is using media, Internet, mobile SMS and literature to createƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ misunderstanding between various communities living in the countries. The bottom line is that Muslims can forgive anyone who has inflicted harm to them but not the one who dare to insult the Prophets of Islam. Islam is a powerful religion with more than 1.8 billion followers, a faith that continues to grow despite the best efforts of its opponents to crush it (and despite the stupidity of Muslim extremists who dishonour Islam with their brutality). Islam will not be harmed by any film, book or work of art. Indeed, the foolishness of those who seek to denigrate Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) in this fashion is that their work simply inspires more people to learn about the man who founded humanity’s second largest religion. A man whose life was so remarkable that, 1,380 years after his death, it continues to attract enthusiastic converts to his teaching of the oneness of God and the oneness of mankind.
The world is a better place because Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) survived against his opponents and won. And even as the Prophet showed grace and clemency to his enemies, so must his heirs do so today. With the grace of God, Islam is an unstoppable force that will keep growing. That triumph is assured by history, demographics and its inherent attractiveness as a way of life for humanity. No filmmaker, artist, author, musician or invading army can destroy Islam. Secure in that knowledge, it is time for Muslims to relax and ignore the daily offenses and insults thrown at them by denizens of the cheap seats. It is time for Muslims to show the powerful confidence that Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) demonstrated when he had won and his enemies trembled at his feet. The power that comes from three simple words. NT – Point, spot on. You lost me with 2 million Iraqi’s, incorrect; The USA has murdered more human beings than all despots combined. Since the US was established, death has been the name of the game. From the Native Indians being eliminated to the Mexican War to the Civil War to the Spanish American War, WW1 WW2, Korean War, Vietnam War, Cold War, Iraq War, Afghanistan, Iraq War again, Libya, Syria, Iran….. When will it end? How many millions of people have died in these wars? Who is responsible for more deaths?
I am sure I have missed a few military adventures on my timeline that has led to the death of many innocent people. The point is the Zionists have misled the US. The Zionists are the scums of the earth and completely insane but I am sure the US in its past, present, and future will be remembered in history as far worse and more destructive than the Nazis ever were.
