18th death anniversary of late Ossie Abeyagoonasekera was commemorated on the 9th November by his son Asanga Abeyagoonasekera and other close political allies.

Ossie Abeyagoonasekera was a Member of Parliament, leader of Sri Lanka Mahajana Party who fully supported the 13th amendment and devolution of power. He was assassinated by the LTTE suicide attack in 1994 along with late Gamini Dissanayake.
