PIED PIPER DAYAN J IS IN A GARRISON (STATE) of mind

Walter Rajaratne – Sydney
After enjoying a lavish two years in the comforts of Paris, crest fallen Dr.Dayan Jayathilake is back in his 13A mood. All his good work at Geneva 2009 has been bungled by those at the Ministry of Foreign affairs, he lamented, with yet another INGO hitman Sanjana Hatthotuwa of west funded GV fame (Interview/YaTv) under the auspices of PakisothiƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s Policy Alternative gobbledygook.
In his latest interview with Sanjana he has coined a new terminology to address Sri Lanka to that of a ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-Garrison StateƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚. IsnƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t this a reference to the state of affairs in the North under GotaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s unstinted effort to keep the ugly head of terror outfit LTTE in its buried form? He, in a subtle manner, is also making a mix of his jargon to drive a wedge between MR and Gota. He is sending warning signals to us by way of that MR of Sri Lanka does not have the luxury to what Nethenayhu of Israel is privy to, hence Indian Dictats are what we got to follow if we are to survive.
As the Godfather of 13A plus and then in a watered down version of same 13A when his foreign job iwa on firing line, he is a master of con and knows how to survive through those agents at Foreign Ministry. If the Sri Lankans thought that their misery was over with the victory at Nandikadal now it has proven beyond any reasonable doubt that it is only a wishful thinking and they got to live with the curse of these perfidious charlatansƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ heinous agendas after the so called unwinnable war by these same in the war against the ruthless megalomaniac Prbhakaran.
Now that the stage is set for Geneva annual jamboree the rogues at the foreign ministry are all set to re-enact the pilgrimage to the mecca of war crime arena. In the meantime Dayan J is weaving his net to trap the next assignment for his hunt of glamour resorts through his backers such as Rajiv Wijesinna who has uninterrupted access to MR.
His theory of, play it mild, keeping options open, to subvert the national policy of Unitary state to a divided Sri Lanka under different tactics has paid rich dividends . A dedicated band of INGO hyenas are at hand for him to manipulate. Rain or sunshine Dayan makes hay. But right now the bottom line is, He is REDUNDANT.

From the days that Dayan was coughing for Premadasa, he has never ever wavered one bit from his love for 13A. Indeed, he was never in favour of unitary Sri Lanka. So much so, I thought, he was against LTTE only as a means to safeguard 13A.
After the war, he may have pushed 13A to the back burner for a while to suit situations or to gain new positions for man loves pomp and fame. At times, he acted as if he is with the nationalists cause but soon it had become clear that was only to further his political ideals. Truly, that is a handicap he was born with. So long as the president understands it, we nationalists should not criticize using the man to the maximum for he is an extraordinarily capable fellow. Dayan and Rajiva are ideal chaps to have when it comes to a spar with the likes of Pakiya and co and their pay masters.

IF it is mahinda”s” KRAMA SAHA VIDHI” IT IS ALL RIGHT.W know that G .L PEIRIS WAS ALSO like that but now he has “changed” to keep his portfolio.
Otherwise they will act like HANUMANTHA burning the country. They need money from somewhere.
One reson DAYAN caughed for PREMADASA was to appoint THISARANI GUNASEKARA as the derector reasearch– Economic rewiew- Peoples Bank after Susantha Gunatilake quit.
She was not qualified to be the derector— NO P H D . ONLY QUALIFICATION WAS—————–
PEOPLE SHOULD KNOW THAT SHE CHANGED’ AARTHIKA VIMASUMA’ TO INSULT PATRIOTS
”JATHIKA CHINTANAYA EPA” WAS THE MAIN TOPIC IN ONE MAGAZINE
ALL DAYAN”.S IDEAS. They are VIJATHIKA CHINTHAKAYO Mahinda should know that they are againstmahinda chinthanaya
Any way keep them tethered

Leela,
Interestingly, you have taken the “Condom Theory”.
Don’t you think too many credible “Condoms” are bursting?

I wonder why GOSL has not appointed/advertised the leadership Team to Geneva with merely 7 days to go.
No takers?
The resolution is a foregone conclusion except for perhaps damage limitation and the soft option.
If one were to judge by past experience of officials being “shafted” by doing a good/decent job, its not surprising one is reluctant to puts ones neck on the “chopping” block.

Lankaweb moderator thought fit not to publish my comment in response to Leela.
It’s his prerogative, although I’m baffled by ones interpretation of Lankaweb policy on moderation.
Nevertheless, it would be interesting to witness who and how the “Geneva Team” is going to counter the alleged Resolution by the US in a robust and reasoned counter argument to sway 40 odd member states to delicately move goal posts.

This time it will be tougher for Sri Lanka at the UNHRC. Russia, China, Cuba and Bangladesh are not current members of the UNHRC due to rotation. However, USA has extended its stay until 2015 (due to expire in 2012).
Although Russia and China have influence over other countries, they are unlikely to go out of the way to do so as they are not in the UNHRC current participants group.
Dayan Jayatilake and Rajiva Wijesinghe are the two biggest blunders post war. They always had their own hidden agenda. I have made my reservations on them very clear to the latter who made a total blunder of the entire reconciliation process.
If USA brings its resolution as threatened, it will be passed very easily with a larger majority than last year. Sri Lanka should bring a resolution to the UN General Assembly to stop UNHRC from violating the UN Charter. Most UN members will likely support it.
Anti Sri Lanka resolutions and news reports have distanced Sri Lankans once again. Tamils are not allowed to bury the past and look to a brighter future. They are bombarded with hatred and they are not immune from it. Continued abuse of security forces personnel will have dire consequences in the long run which will be detrimental to the Tamil community.
