USA resolutions against Sri Lanka in Geneva are to satisfy Tamil Terrorist Organisations which contributed to US President’s Election Campaign.

The terrorist Front Organisations in the USA collected large sums of money estimated at US$300 millions annually,ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ from the expatriate Tamils living in foreign countries. Since the terrorists were eliminated the ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ bulk of the money collected for terrorism is in the hands of the Tamil Terrorist Front Organisations in USA. These organisations continue to collectƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ these funds.
It is with this money that the Tamil Terrorist Front Organisations continue to finance ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ their campaign against Sri Lanka with the hope of breaking away North and East of Sri Lanka for a Tamil Eelam State either by influencing the politicians , high officials in International organisations , and human rights activists of the West through financial inducement or with their help, through another terrorist movementƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ usingƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ the ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚sleepersƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ placed in strategic areas in Sri Lanka.
It is a group formed by these expatriate Tamil terrorist front organisations the ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…- Tamils for ObamaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ which has contributed to the President Barack ObamaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s Presidential election campaign.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Such contributions made at an earlier occasion to Ms.Hillary Clinton for herƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Presidential campaign is said to had been refused and the contributions refunded.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ But President Barack Obama has apparently accepted these contribution and therefore obliged to render services in return.

US State Department not being satisfied by one resolution against Sri Lanka at the last UNHRCouncil Sessions in Geneva, ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ is preparing a second resolution to compensate for the great support given by the Sri Lanka Terrorist Front Organisations in America for the re election of the President Barack Obama.
The resolution itself is a ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ meaningless attempt to dishonour Sri Lanka, and perhaps give a foot hold for the Tamil Terrorist Front Organisations to settle scores with the Government of Sri Lanka.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ It has no valid substance.
The resolution has not been made withƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ any intelligent forethought.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ It was the President of Sri Lanka that appointed the Lessons Learnt and Reconciliation Commission, and in the reportƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ the Commission had includedƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ certain suggestions as ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ it was not the role of the LLRC to recommend to the Government any action, asƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ it is for the government to decide whatƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ action is called for in terms of the report of the LLRC.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Otherwise the Government will be faced with having to take actions contrary to its election manifesto.
Hence, it is not US State Department or the UN High Commissioner for Human rights that is going to run Sri Lanka. They are only trying to stop Sri LankaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s development process getting it embroiled in USA and International Communities attempt to fulfil obligations to theirƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ election partners- Sri Lanka Tamil terrorist Front Organisations to who they are highly indebted for their respective ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ election victories.
They are also demanding that the government of Sri Lanka ask UN Assistance in implementing the recommendations of the LLRC. What could foreign specialists doƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ in Sri Lanka in giving effect to any recommendations by the Commission appointed by the President of Sri Lanka. ?ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The US State Department is meddling in what is not their business .
Sri Lanka had been able to eliminate a ruthless group of terrorists without any help from USA or the International Community which kept on harping that the only solution for the terrorist problem is a political solution.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ They were wrong in that. And how can they be correct now,ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ in deciding ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ how Sri Lanka should carry out its development process.

Apart from Tamils for Obama, few other LTTE proxies have contributed to the US election campaign. One of the LTTE affiliated contributors were mentioned in some of the previous Lankaweb articles, but I lost the links to them.
Certainly, US should be ashamed of the role they are playing now about Sri Lanka.

It is commendable to hear that Hilary Clinton returned the funds provided for her presidential campaign by the Tamil Terrorists and affiliates. However, it is most disheartening to hear that Presdident Obama had accepted such funds and is now under obligation to assist these Tamil groups.
However, for argument sake, if say these Tamil settlers in SriLanka, numbering around 10million (includes Indian Tamils and Tamils living in all parts of SriLanka) successfully carve out a region for themselves, then what will happen to the over 70million Tamils in the Tamil motherland “Tamilnadu” of India, who still would not have a separate state to call their own? Will they all migrate to SriLanka or will they rather prefer to separate from the Indian union?
Also if such a state is carved out in the North of SriLanka even for a short period, will it lead to non-ending conflict like that in Northern Island which was carved out for the Anglican minority, but opposed by the Catholics in Ireland?

No need of TE. Even if power is shared with the northern PC, at least 15 million Tamils from Tamil Madu will migrate to the north (land powers) and soon will turn the island into a Tamil majority island.
Tamil as an official language and national language are VERY POWERFUL attractions. Because of this STUPID policy, illegal Tamil migrants from Tamil Madu would rather come to SL than go to Maharastra, MP or UP where Tamils is NOT recognized AT ALL.
IF Tamil were NOT an official language or national language, NO Tamil Madu illegal will dare to come here (unless Tamil Madu has a different official language and national language to Tamil as during Brit times).

Can you answer this question too” “WHY THE HELL AND ON WHAT BASIS THAT SRI LANKA THROUGH ACCREDITED DELEGATIONS SUBMITTED A PLAN OF ACTION BASED ON THE LLRC COMMISSION AND GAVE AN UNDERTAKING OF IMPLEMENTATION, AT THESE SESSIONS OF UNHRC, US STATE DEPARTMENT AND UNO?”
In finding an answer to this question, please let me remind you of the numerous (uncountable) both “secretive” and “official” missions and “courtesy” calls that our Minister of External Affairs, the Supervising Minister (Sajin Vas) and other officials carried out during the last years and months. Why and what have they done during these meetings?

Douglas , I think we are too meek in addressing these big guns who think they are there to overseer the activities of developing nations ” A sort of a Big Brother”. Why cannot we ask them just “go to hell” and cut ourselves off from their influence ? Only thing is our political opposition, which does not give us the strength of being a united Nation of Sri Lankans to stand together or fall.
I wonder all what we write have any sense or use, as they may not even be read by some one in the Government. I remember long time ago the Embassies paid to a special society that collects all article appearing in all news papers in Sri Lanka or on any Subject as a matter of fact. I wonder whether they have some system like that now ?

I do believe that Mr Douglas has raised a pertinent question.
Why make or give an undertaking that you cannot or will not implement?.
Politicians (all parties) give promises and undertakings during election time to the Lankan populace only to be “dustbinned” once elected. The voters are gullible enough to forget the promises made.
The stance taken with the local gallery will not work with the international gallery. You give an undertaking to the IC you implement it or on “damage control”. Sri Lanka cannot afford the “fibs” on its own undertakings as we are witnessing at the moment.
Personally, Sri Lanka is of no interest to the IC except to the fact its on India’s backyard and getting India to get it sorted. (evidenced from the last Geneva conflab)
Forget the Tamil Diasporas, they are playing a game on the “weaknesses”, unattainable undertakings given by GOSL.
“go to hell” stance by Sri Lanka in this juncture will not work. Sri Lanka is not Israel. SL has lost the credibility it once had with competent people to address critical issues with rational and reasoned arguments.

I wish to slightly correct myself since I wrote this. I think definitely and primarily it is the US,UK,EU,Canada, Australia, Norway and HRW, Amnesty International and the likes of Channel 4, Independent et. al. it is they who are primarily against Sri Lanka. The LTTE supporters in the west are secondary and are actually a useful tool for the US,UK,EU,Canada and co. This has been sadly very clear for a very long time now.
However as a Sri Lankan I am very glad we have peace in Sri Lanka between the sinhala and tamil people and we are living in harmony now. The US,UK,EU,Canada club does not like that. They don’t want the sinhala, tamil,muslim peoples unity and will do anything to destroy the present prevailing harmony in the country and are trying everything to destroy the peaceful environment in the country. The US,UK,EU,Canadas behaviour proves this beyond any doubt. It is all about divide and rule for them.
Yes it is high time the Sri Lankan govt countered this bullshit, its getting tiresome this UNHRC bullshit meetings to haul Sri Lanka up for this or that trumped up charges.

Dear Friends: Charles and Marco – Thank you for the valuable comments. In a sense “we are meek” in addressing these “big guns”. Also why give “undertakings” which we cannot keep. More than anything else, this is where the “problem” arises. All our Governments managed by the Politicians (except for a few) are such a group of “crooks” who are “genetically” brought up to “deceive” the ordinary masses by “promises” which they know very well cannot be honoured. Once they get into “Power” all such promises are forgotten and they behave as they have come down from the heavans. So you will note this “characteristic” is in their “genes”. Naturally they try their “pranks” with the International Community too. They little realize how “hawkish” these IC “vultures” are and naturally, we (meaning the whole country) fall a “prey”.
Marco, you are absolutely correct in saying that we cannot have a “go to hell” stance. Our Government, after banishing the terrorist threat, did not pay attention at all to the “bigger threat” the country has to face from these “cells” operating from foreign countries. The organization of these outfits were undertaken simultaneously with the fighting forces of LTTE in Sri Lanka. The real “cream” was operating from abroad and they had a long term plan of strengthening their numbers by the “influx” (very metallically engineered) of Tamils as “refugees” and also provided the much needed finances. Now these “refugees” are a “force” to reckon with in Europe, Australia, Americas, Canada etc. All the Politicians of these countries too are banking on these “vote banks” for their entry to the respective Legislatures. This is only a “very brief” note on the “operation” of the “Separatist Movement”.
How to get out of this. That too, to briefly state: (1) With due credit to Marco, we have to re-establish our lost “credibility” by establishing (a) Good and strong Governance (b) gaining a sound and sustainable economic stability by way of managing our natural resources and assets devoid of corruption and mismanagement (c) ensuring a decent living standard to all citizenary (d) cultivating a homogeneous society in the country. To do all these (2) Law and Order must be established firmly in the country without any interference from the Politicians and (3) a devoted and competent Government machinery must be manned by equally qualified and well trained Human Resource structure. So doing all this we must show to the rest of the world that “WE DO AND MEAN BUSINESS” AND BE A FORCE TO REKON WITH”.

Yes it seems they have a symbiotic relationship with the LTTE, but this is just an extension of the old colonial Ceylon Tamils relationship with the British masters. It has gone global. EU club uses the LTTE and LTTE uses the EU club. Each side hoping that they will ultimately prevail – at the expense of Sri Lanka!
