One such personality is British Peer Lord Naseby who has recently delivered a speech which not only confounds Sri Lanka’s accusers of human rights violations but puts to shame the tolerance of the British authorities of individuals such as Adele Balasingham who had the affront to be personally involved with the attrocities committed by the
Tamil Tigers and was the wife of fomer LTTE idealogue Anton Balasingham now deceased.She however was not apprehended by the Sri Lankan authorities for provable crimes against innocent civilians, theƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ recruitment andƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ training of child soldiers and fled to Britain where she now lives in a safe haven in the UK.

that a reputed and highly respectedƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ British Peer Wih Vision That’s Unbiased, Unblinkered, Just And Unfettered Over The Realities Surrounding Sri Lanka’s Succesful War Over Tamil Tiger Terrorism has finally surfaced.
Lord Naseby the representativeƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ for Sri Lankan Affairs to the British Government is quoted as saying to the British Media
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ that “the creator, recruiter and organizer of Tamil child soldiers in Sri Lanka, Mrs. Adele Balasingham lives comfortably in Southern England.
“It was the Tamil Tigers who created, recruited several thousand child soldiers and put them in the frontline so they died first”,ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ which is damning towards all accusations presently given so much publicity where the accusing nations should ~ while getting their acts together in their own backyardsƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ firstƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ re-think what thay are throwing at the Sri Lanka Administration ahead of the CHOGM and ponder upon the veracity as well as seriousness of their direction whichƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ appears to be not onlyƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ devious but on an erratic path also.

This in all probabilities surely coincidesƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ with the eyewitness reports that it was the Armed Forces that rescued many fleeing unarmed Civilians being pursued by the Tamil terrorists who were the guilty party using them as human shields against the Forces where there is documented evidence as well as photographs to attest to this. Once again a delivered body blow to Sri Lanka’s antagonists coming from someone as credible and respected as Lord Naseby which once again confounds many accusations against the Government of Sri Lanka and favourable towards the Govermment’s stand that all these allegations are cooked up and falsified.

In a response to a UN Team investigativeƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ analysis from the recent census and missing persons investigation Lord Naseby has said as quoted that “Your answer was not objective, not balanced, not accurate and appears to be aimed to give succor to those Tamil Diaspora, formerly LTTE supporters, who now campaign to blacken everything the democratically elected government of Sri Lanka does in an attempt to achieve Eelam by stealth. Frankly, you should be thoroughly ashamed of yourself” which brings on a whole new perspective towards why so many discerning world powers have chosen to stand by Sri Lanka despite the odd stragglers rumbling about a change in venue.

In the overall scheme of things the observations of Lord Naseby is indeed favourable to the credibility of SriƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Lanka where there are bound to be ramifications against many of Sri Lanka’s Adversaries where there needs to be more observations in like manner towards alleviating Sri Lanka’s reputation as a Resplendent Isle where in a manner of speaking “only a certain type of man is vile!!”

Lee Rigby, a 25-year-old soldier, was hacked to death in broad daylight in a south London street by two men who said they killed him in the name of Islam. The attack has shocked Britain and stirred an anti-Muslim backlash, including attacks on mosques.
In a tense but largely peaceful demonstration, supporters of the far-right English Defence League (EDL) rallied in London outside Prime Minister David Cameron’s residence waving placards and shouting anti-Islamic obscenities.
“Islamic extremism is probably the number one threat to Britain,” said one protester, Ben Gates. Other demonstrators chanted “Muslim bombers off our streets”.”

Dear old Billary Clinton is now positioning herself for a run for the US Presidency in 2016. She began in the time-honored traditional fashion of US Presidential candidates by announcing she had no interest whatever in running for the Presidency, which is of course pure HOGWASH!
She declined to serve as the Secretary of State in Obama’s second term administration, so she could start disassociating herself from Obama’s policies, and have more freedom to pursue independent policies potentially critical of the Obama administration.
Billary Clinton’s becoming the US President in 2016 presents HUGE problems for Sri Lanka. As we recall, Tamils for Clinton injected huge sums of illegal funds into Clinton’s 2008 Presidential campaign. Luckily, that illegal contribution of campaign funds was discovered, and the contributed funds were returned to the Tamils for Clinton front of the LTTE in a hurry by Billary’s campaign which feigned that she was not aware that the contribution was illegal.
Billary, the woman of unbounded ambition that she is, did not lose sight of the fact that the Eelamist Tamil Diaspora represented a source of nearly UNLIMITED CAMPAIGN FUNDS if she runs for the US Presidency in 2016.
As we all know, the US State Department under Billary’s control, took a very hardline against Sri Lanka … which continues to this day. Was there a connection between the promise of future funds in 2016 and the especially hardline she took against Sri Lanka during her tenure as Secretary of State, even going to the extent of pressuring the Government of Sri Lanka to allow the US to extract 50 of the top LTTE leaders, including Prabhakaran, out of the Mullaitivu pocket under the pretext of “saving lives of civilians”? We will never know really …. will we …. unless another Wikileaks spills the beans a decade from now!!
Lo and behold, UNLIMITED CAMPAIGN FUNDS can NOW be contributed LEGALLY! The US Supreme Court decision that held that UNLIMITED AMOUNTS OF CAMPAIGN FUNDS can be LEGALLY donated to third-party political groups supporting political candidates in elections, but not directly to the candidates themselves, unleashed a FLOOD OF LOBBYISTS MONEY in the 2012 US Presidential election, undermining the very basis of American democracy. It is now Government OF the LOBBYISTS, BY the LOBBYISTS, FOR the LOBBYISTS in America.
This law is unlikely to be repealed before the 2016 US Presidential elections, which means that Tamil Eelamists can contribute UNLIMITED FUNDS again to Billary Clinton’s campaign for the US Presidency in 2016. Having already demonstrated her undying support for the Eelamist cause, there is no doubt that a veritable FLOOD of Tamil Diaspora money will find its way into her campaign coffers. So much then for the PATRIOTISM OF US POLITICIANS serving the BEST INTEREST of their Nation; they are bought and sold like cattle at an auction.
The bottomline is: the GOSL should ANTICIPATE & PREPARE for the possibility that Billary Clinton could become the next President of the United States, and if elected, could adopt policies EXTREMELY THREATENING to Sri Lanka’s survival as an Undivided Sovereign Nation.
I recommend that the GOSL REPEAL the 13th Amendment, and DISMANTLE the Provincial Council System now leaving a few years to stabilize a new System of Governance, establish new DIPLOMATIC, ECONOMIC and Trade links to prepare for that event.
Since CAMPAIGN FUNDS can now be contributed LEGALLY by any source to political lobbies, including foreign governments, it is possible, for example, for the GOSL to contribute more funds than the Tamil Diaspora can to the Republican Presidential candidate. Surely, a 250 Million USD campaign contribution would be well worth the money in return on the dollar to Sri Lanka’s security and survival!!
If the RUMP of the World’s Most Dangerous Terrorist Movement (CIA assessment) can buy US politicians legally to serve their interests undermining the very fabric of American politics, why can’t a legal and legitimate FRIENDLY government do so to counter that move FUNDAMENTALLY INIMICAL to the long-term INTERESTS of the United States?

fully concur with what both Lorenzo and Ananda are implying.It is indeed mind boggling as to why Sri lanka’s unprecedented war against global terrorism which the campaign against the LTTE is tantamount to is condemned and attacked critically by certain western antagonists as it exposes the pathetic double standard revealing the yellow underbelly of Sri Lanka’s critics.Yet the time is likely to come when their tolerance of Sri Lanka’s protagonists which makes them collaborators will have a severe price to pay as well as dire repercussions if the scourge spreads to their respective domains and hey! just a minute! it’s already transpiring is it not? Hmmm! so will these big wigs eat their words in attrition or come up with some cockamanie excuses to counter? Time will tell!

There are 4 ways to handle an enemy.
1 RUN away from him or surrender
2 Manage him
3 Get rid of him or defeat him
4 MAKE USE of him
#4 is the HIGHEST form.
From time to time we did #1 during the war.
At other times before 2006 we did #2.
From 2006 to 2009 we did #3.
Now we must do #4. We must resurrect the “LTTE” under a controlled environment to get things done the way we want.

The National Post has an interesting item posted on Infolanka about Canada boycotting the CHOGM which suggests many duplicities involved where only Canada has taken this stand.It has also highlighted Diaspora Tamils and why expatriate Tamils prefer Canada to Tamilnadu.
I beg to disagree with Lorenzo that there is a need to resurrect the LTTE even to use them in a “controlled environment” where the 3rd option seems etched in stone. There should be a 5th option~ provide facilitated exit for dissenting Tamils and others who do not want to be part of Sri Lanka’s guide lines for all citizens who wish to continue living there, to anywhere they want to go. Maybe the Sirima – Shastri pact should be reversed also to accommodate this.

The Jathika Hela Urumaya would hand over a private member’s motion to the Secretary General of Parliament tomorrow, seeking to repeal the 13th Amendment to the Constitution, which established the Provincial Councils, Western Provincial Council Minister Udaya Gamanpila said yesterday.
Gamanpila told The Island that the Sinhala and English versions of the proposed draft bill were ready and the Tamil translation too would be ready by today.
After handing over the bill, they would meet all political parties represented in Parliament, including the Tamil National Alliance, to apprise them of the importance of abolishing the 13th Amendment.

Not only Tamils, ANYONE who cannot abide by the laws of Sri Lanka that apply EQUALLY to ALL CITIZENS should be ASSISTED to LEAVE Sri Lanka for “Greener Pastures”.
The Government Assistance for Voluntarily Departing Immigrants could include: Buying the Real Estate belonging to that person at an ABOVE MARKET PRICE, allowing the one-time tax and duty-free export, and foreign exchange conversion of all monetary assets, providing government assistance getting an immigration visa to a country of his/her choice, providing all of the documentation necessary for immigration (birth certificates, educational diplomas, health vaccinations etc).
All of this ASSISTANCE given to Voluntarily Departing Immigrants would be CONDITIONED on their SIGNING A LEGAL AGREEMENT GIVING UP Sri Lankan citizenship of THEMSELVES and ALL OF THEIR UNDER-AGE DEPENDENTS in PERPETUITY.
Nothing could be FAIRER: If you are terminally DISSATISFIED living in Sri Lanka, for God’s Sake GO WHEREVER the Grass appears to be Greener, with EVERYTHING YOU HAVE with our FERVENT BLESSINGS!
Sri Lanka would be much better off without TERMINALLY DISSATISFIED TROUBLEMAKERS who are not committed to do not respecting, defending and loving their Motherland as DUTIFUL citizens are required to do.
