But looks are only skin deep. Greed and cupidity are no respecters of persons. The dividing line between angels and devils is razor blade thin. It is not for no reason that religious texts speak of evil beings being clothed as angels of light. ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”Low art thou fallen Satan sun of morningƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢, reads one such text. Prabhakaran was even clothed with the personality of no less a person than Jesus Christ by fake Catholic priests and Christian Tamil leaders. They gave him all the rope he needed to hang himself.

Now a man who should have known better, who put up a show of bravery with his scathing comments on men, matters and morals has taken himself too seriously and lured himself into the trap on the waves of adulation. There is nothing people fall prey to more than PRAISE and this man for all the blinking glimmering halo erected around his head, has rushed like a fool where angels fear to tread. The man of integrity and wisdom has finally shown his real mettle. How can this new self assumed savior of his so-called ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”suffering peopleƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ be correctly designated? How does one call an old fake who has voluntarily undertaken to perpetuate an old fiction? I would call such a one a living ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”apocalypsesƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢. He has transformed himself into a cyanide capsule ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢¢”š¬…” NO not for himself, but for his ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”suffering peopleƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢: just another pied piper with a duns cap on his head leading his following to the open jawed precipice on a path that others of his ilk have trodden before.

As our erudite Lorenzo clearly pointed out, those who faced the brunt of the dual prong, being the immoral ambitions of the Vellalah clique and the Sri Lankan army thrust were the low caste Tamils. The Vellalahs set them up and the army demolished them. Now what were the victorious as well as vanquished armies composed of if not the (at least) economically low caste and socially disfavoured youth of this country? The Ealam war was waged by two sides both bound by the common factor of poverty, both economic and social: the impoverished and downgraded offered as cannon fodder. The Ealam war is a story of fake and fiction in the garb of greed and lust for power of the ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”untouchablesƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ at the top gloriously reigning in Colombo.

The Vellalahs set up their puppet in Jaffna who promoted the illogical and anti-historical ambitions of his masters to the giddy limits until he lay exposed, divested of all his illusions, even his clothes ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢¢”š¬…” right down to his ambudey ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢¢”š¬…” on the banks of the Nandikadal lagoon. The MOSES-ES who set up this robot and wound him up setting his radar sights on the illusory and figmental promised land of Tamil Ealam did not lead from the front like the Moses of yore. They shoved him into the desert with his like: the poor, the downtrodden and the low caste.

When the day of reckoning came, the low caste puppet robot commanders herded their low caste entourage at gunpoint and made their last ditch stand. The Colombo fake Moses-es with red dots on their foreheads and the soutanes of the Catholic clergymen did not lead from the front. I need not go down history lane. These columns have dwelt on all relevant themes capably handled by erudite intellectuals and writers.

But evil itself cannot stand on one leg, it needs another to prop it up, and that is the purpose of this article. We are about to see our beloved motherland as being a woman in distress: a woman about to be raped by the Man Mohan and his cohorts in Delhi the world renowned capital or rape. Now in what lies our eternal shame but in watching our so called Savior aiding and abetting in this rape of the Mawbima, the woman he proudly proclaimed he was committed to defend at all costs. That was the treaty he signed with the Motherland: palamuwa Mawbina, devenuwa Mawbima, thunvenuwa Mawbima, words uttered before the hypnotized eyes of our people from the sacrosanct precincts of parliament. That was a treaty signed, not with his own blood, but with the blood of our youth. He cannot resile from that treaty without turning that blood into water. He does not need IndiaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s permission in that regard. He is bound by the blood of the under privileged mainly Sinhala youth of the armed forces as well as countless others of all races and creeds, shed during thirty years. Before that Treaty written in inflammable RED, the Parippu Accord is pure swine poop.

But what has he done? He has denuded the Motherland while the enemy is readying its filthy organ, the 13A, already erect to perpetrate the rape. He has betrayed the Motherland and we all know the penalty for treason. In the olden days such people were drawn, quartered and hanged. We have sacrificed our future generations for a futile dream. Now he is only motivated by his vision of the motley crowd of Commonwealth boozers chatting nonsense and drinking away the meager resources of this nation while acclaiming him as the new atrophied muscle less Sando of their organization. We all know how useless, futile and sterile that endeavour is. Even now England is formulating a motion to be brought against Lanka at the next Geneva sitting. To what else can we compare him other than to Nero who played on his lyre after having set Rome on fire?

I write this article as an appeal to the intellectuals who adorn this forum. I specifically appeal to Mr. Mahindapala, Mr.Dilrook Kanangara, Mr.Lorenzo, Mr Laduwahetty, Dr.Sudath G, Mrs Shenali Waduge and the many others who contribute articles in chief to this internationally reputed journal, to take up the cause of the Motherland. This Northern PC election has to be stopped. I appeal to the aforesaid personalities to combine their talent and present a united front for the common cause.

If I could make a suggestion, the only force capable of galvanizing the nation in this regard is the Maha Sangha. I appeal to you gentleman to formulate a common petition moving the Mahanayakes of the four chapters and every patriotic organization organized under the aegis of the members of the Maha Sangha. They must step into the fray and create a mass uprising that will show the Man Mohan that he cannot stick his filthy organ, the 13A, into the body of our Motherland. They must be urged to bring our man at the top to his senses or topple him from his presumed unshakeable pedestal. The time for random approaches over: the need of the hour is a common united effort that will wake the nation from its habitual dogmatic slumber: an ever somnolent nation still impervious to the impending doom at its very door step. This can only happen through the intervention of the Maha Sangha.

MARIO ! A very emotional article which reflects the TRUTH, and nothing but the Truth. The Maharaja, sadistically awaits to see the 13th Appendage of the Man Mohan, penetrating Mother Lanka in statutory rape. It is unbelievable to see the deafening silence of the Mahanayakes. Yes, it is now or never, they should come out in full force. They don’t have to be nudged by the people to get started. I firmly believe that the WIG-less JACKASS will be ‘still born.’ Your reference to ‘ Obay apey Ranee ‘ brings to my memory of a song we used to sing at camp-fires as a scout. Just a few lines that I remember:-

Well said, Sir. It’s as clear as day that, after all the vacillation, endless debate and misplaced punditry,
the Maha Sangha will have to act, fill the leadership void, and kick some well-fed butt …
The obvious leaders and spokespersons of a Buddhist-majority nation will have no problem in enlisting
such mass support from a majority of We the People. It is also pertinent that a majority of the valiant
armed forces, that protected the unitary status of Sri Lanka, came from this rural majority.
Will this not be the most transparent form of democracy — the will of the majority under a
sovereign Constitution. And what will all those democrats out there, in permanent lecture-mode
in some parts of the planet, say to that?!

This Wingeswaran affair didn’t come out of the blue.This is a well planned conspiracy. Wigneswaran has his followers in Colombo.Remeber the ceremony to welcome the new sec of the bar association,Upul Jayasuriya?Wingeswaran made a speech outlining his future plans.In attendance was ven Sobitha,CBK,Shirani,Karu J,Waliamuna,Pakyasothi,Wickramabahu and many more $$ Kakakas.Most probably either Sobitha or Karu J with the backing of the TNA will contest the presidency.The plan is for Wingeswarn to rule Ealam and either Sobitha or Karu J to rule the rest of the country.Characters like Sobitha,Karu J are wolves in sheep clothing.

I agree with Susantha. I can’t believe why Maha Sanga is so silent about this issue. They should take the leadership in protecting our motherland. A few months ago, Venerable Elle Gunawansa Nayaka Thero stated that he’d go to courts if the government goes ahead with the planned NPC elections without removing the Police and Land powers to provinces. I still believe this venerable monk will stick to his words and take the needful even at the last minute. But I cannot trust Sobitha Thero who is hell bent on abolishing the Executive Presidency from the constitution which is not the need of the hour. I think he has a different game plan which is based on money, perks or power as max Silva predicts. There was a rumour that he did the same thing during the time Ranil W signed the infamous Peace Accord with Velu.

Mr. Mario Perera: The “Caste Factor” in Sri Lankan politics (whether it is in South. West. North or East) is nothing new and had come to stay for a long, long period. You explained it in relation to North; but what about the South or the West. I do not intend to deal with that in this comment. But suffice to say that since Independence, not a single “low caste” person was able to come to “Head” a Government in Sri Lanka. So with the Tamil Political outfit. However, unlike the Sihala community politics, the Tamil Community did not mind from whom their “aspiration for a separate State” is fulfilled. Only when they found that the so called “elite”; perhaps the high cast politicians were playing “humbug”, the “lower ranks” took upon themselves the task of “delivering” that aspiration. That is how they ruthlessly eliminated anyone (even people like Mahathaya) whom they assessed to be a hindrance to their aspirations. Also please note the LTTE led by V.Prabakaran had its own high “caste brains” in very high ranking positions. There is not the space to name them here.
So to state that story short, I would say: WHATEVER THE CASTE ANY TAMIL BELONGS TO, THEY WILL NOT MIND SO LONG AS THEIR ASPIRATION FOR A SEPARATE STATE IS ACHIEVED. That “Movement” can be lead by a “High Caste’ or a “Low Caste” is virtually immaterial. When it comes to the question of achieving that aspiration all of them will congregate and voice that goal in unanimity. In that force of unanimity, I don’t see the differences in caste, creed, colour, religion etc. Yet you will still see a “minority”, but that is not going make a much of a difference.
Also this “Caste Face” of the Tamils’ so called “struggle” has been high lighted to such an extend, the Sri Lankan attempt to “show case” case it as purely a “Terrorist Movement” could not be easily achieved. The international community was so dismayed that they only recognized it as a “Freedom Struggle” and at that instance too the Tamil Community succeeded to a very great extent. So I do not agree that this should be show cased as a High and Low Caste struggle.
Anyway, whether it is High Caste or Law Caste, the Tamil community is in unanimity as regards their aspirations. In that respect they must be “admired” and “congratulated”.
The question now is: Does the Sinhala Community and the Leaders are in unanimity of what they want this country to be? NO…..NO…..NO…. In that respect the Tamil Leadership is and must be respected and admired for working towards a “goal”.
As you have dealt with this aspect (the humbug type operations of the Sinhala Community) toward the latter part of your presentation, I do not wish to embark on a further analysis, other than to say “I totally agree with you”.
Our Leadership is nothing but a “humbug”. You have said it in few words. Thank you for that.

Mario Perera: Sorry, One correction: Only one person of “Law Caste” Sihala Leader was able to come to power. But you know how difficult it was and how uphill task was for him to be held on to that position.

Fully concur with the sentiments expressed by Mario. This is the opportune time. The opportunity has been provided to write to the PSC which will determine the future of the island nation. Not every submitted recommendation will be reported and not every reported recommendation will be acted upon, but, at least it will be documented and open for implementation at a future date. The pre-war Sansoni Commission Report is so invaluable that Tamil leaders extinguished all the stock of the printed reports and destroyed them.
Please do your national duty soon as the closing date is fast approaching. Write to the PSC on 13A. It need not be a perfect writing. Just put to paper what you feel about it.
There are concerned commentators who write here on a daily basis. Their contribution will be truly valuable if they write to the PSC. Let the whole world know how Sri Lankans feel about Indian imposed 13A and other dictates.
If we wait for the politicians to do it alone, that will not happen. The judiciary will not give people-friendly judgements unless it knows it. They need to hear the people. It all must happen peacefully. Don’t be put off by the LLRC debacle. This is different to LLRC. At last the government is serious about at least listening to the people on 13A.
Please don’t publish what you write to the PSC in public websites at least until after the submissions are closed. The other camp will counter them.

Dear Max, don’t worry; neither Sobitha Thero nor KaruJ would ever become the president of SL. In a yesterday’s newspaper Sobitha Thero has stated that he is forming a movement to field a common candidate for the next presidential election who’ll challenge current president MR. He has sited corruption, waste, crimes etc. as reasons for his move. Remember they fielded a very powerful and popular candidate even last time but what happened? SF had the fullest support from UNP, JVP, MC, TNA/LTTE, UPF, western diplomatic missions and all other reactionary forces against SL on earth. Still he couldn’t come even closer to MR. if fielded as common candidate, Karu won’t even get half the number of votes SF got. In the last general election, Karu contested from Gampaha district and came in third place. He couldn’t come even closer to Vijitha Hera who came in the first place. (VH will never get that popularity again!) Also, remember KaruJ is another traitor who even demanded the investigation of war crimes by SL forces several times in local and international forums putting SL in a difficult situation. I don’t think SL people will ever forgive him for that crime!

We do not know what MR’s strategy is to defeat the separatists now spearheaded by the India’s chosen man Mr Wigneswaran. He has enthusiastically rushed in to this role like a bull in a China shop, uttering lies about the heritage of the Sinhalese people and promoting a non-existent Tamil homeland. He is in denial and likes to believe that the Tamils occupied this land before the Sinhalese, though we all know through historical records, both in SriLanka and Foreign lands, that the natives of this country were the Sinhalese with own language, which developed parallel to Sanskrit in India. We also know the Sinhalese assimilated with Indo Aryan migrants as well as other migrants and that today’s Tamil speaking Tamils mostly the relatively recent imports from India to work on plantations by the Portuguese, Dutch and British colonial powers. All these people today make up the unitary state of of Sri Lanka, which racist elements are trying to divide by ethnicity, using fabricated claims.
Though the truth is very much different to Wineswaran’s imagination, he still could be a very dangerous man who could destroy the hard gained peace and harmony in the country.
We could only hope that MR knows what he is doing, just like he defeated the LTTE terrorists against all odds.

I did not expect this from you. This is what I wrote:
“ERASE THE 13 AND AT THE SAME TIME THE 18 FROM THE CONSTITUTION”. IF YOU CANNOT DO IT OR SHY OF DOING IT, GIVE THE PEOPLE THE OPPORTUNITY DO IT”.
