What a bleeding heart and compassionate soul we have in Karunanidhi!

-Ëœ”We have been left wailing” over Britain-â„¢s Channel 4 video that shows a group of soldiers surrounding a half-naked Tamil lady,” DMK chief M Karunanidhi said-â„¢. That is how some Indian media, quoted by those in Sri Lanka, refer to Karunanidhi-â„¢s -Ëœdesperation-â„¢ after Channel 4 of the UK aired its reportedly fake video.
The report on the wailing by the long-past-the-sell-by-date gentleman (and obviously his ilk) raises many pertinent issues that need the attention of the discerning reader.
First and foremost, if the allegations made by the Channel 4 team are proved -beyond any reasonable doubt – the Sri Lanka government should deal with the guilty as provided by the laws of Sri Lanka.
A second point is that all these fantastic videos produced by Channel 4 surface when there is a major international event. Channel 4 produced one under the title -Sri Lanka-â„¢s Killing Fields- and took all possible measures to give the widest possible publicity to it in 2012 and 2013 when the UN was having its annual Human Rights Council sessions in Geneva. And, now when Sri Lanka is poised to hold the Commonwealth Heads of Government (CHOGM) in Colombo this month (November), Channel 4 is going -full steam ahead- to get the maximum publicity to its latest masterpiece that purportedly is evidence of a harmless Tamil woman who had been tortured and killed by Sri Lanka-â„¢s armed forces. Clearly Channel 4 did not want to miss the fabulous opportunity of getting the maximum mileage at the expense of the much-maligned Sri Lanka. The question that comes to the mind of many a reader is why Channel 4 waited for four years to broadcast its cinematic offering when the LTTE military defeat was completed on 19 May 2009.
A third point worth mentioning is that the Channel 4-â„¢s -Killing Fields-, the makers of which have even been nominated by LTTE propagandists for an Oscar, is clearly a fake. The writer is no expert in analysing TV and video recordings, but those who are in the know such as Siri Hewawitharana, internationally renowned expert in broadcast video systems and Executive Director of IPTV Systems, Australia has shown the inconsistencies between the visuals and the audios of the video of the -Ëœcaptured LTTE cadres-â„¢ being shot by Sri Lanka-â„¢s armed forces. The complexions of the victims, whose faces or names are not divulged at any stage, appear more like that of the fair-skinned Sinhala (soldiers) rather than that of the dark-skinned Tamils. The alleged Sri Lanka soldiers wear flip flops, whereas this type of foot ware is not part of the regulation issue to the armed forces. More importantly, the original videos have the killers speaking in the Tamil language, the language of the LTTE, but the version that has been doing the rounds all over the world has the shooters ‚ speaking in Sinhalese, naturally to apportion blame the Sinhala soldiers.
The point of the highest interest is the story of the TV presenter Isapriya killed by the soldiers of Sri Lanka-â„¢s armed forces. She was a so-called lieutenant colonel of the LTTE, and there are many photos of this woman wearing the LTTE fatigues, which support the position that she apparently held in the LTTE. But for the LTTE rump and Karunanidhi in Tamil Nadu she was an innocent woman, who would not hurt a fly, dishing out news.
Karunanidhi should stop wailing over what has allegedly occurred in Sri Lanka, If there is any energy left in his aged body and functioning grey matter in his senile brain, there are enough problems in Tamil Nadu over which he should devote his hours when he is awake (not -Ëœnidhi-â„¢).
As long as Tamils who emigrated to the most affluent countries in the world -” but not to Tamil Nadu that is located a mere 30 kilometres from Sri Lanka -” saying that they were discriminated in Sri Lanka and corrupt politicians in the West who want to solicit their support are there, Sri Lanka will continue to be bombarded with allegations of human rights, murder of Tamils and rape and murder of Tamil women.
Sri Lanka is left with only one option. Endeavouring to respond to the allegations does not work. The country has to be proactive and should launch a massive and robust publicity campaign to tell the rest of the world the truth: the fact that Sri Lanka-â„¢s armed forces rescued almost 300,000 Tamils from the clutches of the LTTE in the final stages of the war or that tens of thousands of innocent civilians of all ethnic groups were massacred by the LTTE is rarely mentioned by any of the human rights protagonists. All that seemed to have happened is human rights violations (by the armed forces) in the last stages of the war!

If Army caught her alive like this, I don’t approve a brutal killing. But who knows, may be she tried to escape, may be was too stubborn to anger the army who were under enormous stress.
However, now it is done, war time killings cannot be investigated and should not be. If so, what about the atomic bomb experimented in Hiroshima and Nagasaki ? Karma will give the due punishment for all crimes.
Not only to Tamils, to all , the lesson is DO NOT JOIN ANY TERRORIST GROUP.

Sri Lanka has to insist that, if there need be an investigation, then, it should be for the entire three decades, commencing with Alfred Dhuraiappa’s killing by Prabakaran. This would expose India’s role in creating and training terrorists to destroy a neighbouring country and the subsequent massacres of Sri Lankan’s by IPKF forces. Both of these are war crimes, which the USA and India are tying to cover up by insisting only on a investigation restricted to the last few weeks of the conflict.
We must note here that the former Liberian president had been charged for crimes against humanity for having supported the rebels in a neighbouring country. India’s role in Sri Lanka under Indira Ghandi and Karunanidi of Tamilnadu was very much worse and are true crimes against humanity.

K’naidhi is in the film making business, thus his great belief in CH-4 (CH- $$$ ?) – it is all make believe for Eelam creation.
Next to politics, his entire clan is involved in the business of making of films. The other VIP is, of course, Ms Jayalalitha, who as an ex-actress, and also in the make believe world of film business. For the current set of Tamil political leaders, where Sri Lanka is concerned, it is all acting out roles for Eelam creation. There is no substance in what they say.
CH-4 lies, plus all other lies to denigrate Lanka, should be challenged via CHOGM. We should use the CHOGM platform to bring out Truth & Justice for Lanka and others.
Then the CHOGM would be meaningful and old wounds may get truly healed.

The army was not involved in her death. She was a PART TIME LTTE terrorist who died in battle.
I was appealing to the BELIEFS of Tamils who think she was captured and killed. They will NEVER believe she died in battle.
In Tamils’ belief she was captured and killed. So for Tamils who believe so, there is one advice. DON’T ever support Tamil Elam.

It is quite easy to visualize the graphic impersonations and doctoring of the terrorist turned journalist video.For instance there is no cryptic date, a recognizable location and neither are the faces of the alleged army personnel clearly visible. Such videos can be doctored to look melodramatic with ease in this day and age.There is every likelihood this was orchestrated by Tamil tiger supportives and the gruesome plot probably carried out by themselves to incriminate the Armed Forces. It is a wise and prudent Tamil who will not support the cause of Eelam other than the blinkered lot who will dance to the Nagasalam band of of Karunanidhi, Jayalalitha, Vaiko and other deadbeats from Tamil Nadu. Karunanidhi ‘s no bleeding heart ne’s a bleeding jackass!

Think we all know the alternative of Modi from his recent pronouncements.
Interestingly Macrae was denied a visa to India, whilst he has been granted a ETA by Sri Lanka.
I do hope Minister Rambukwella has an appropriate script prepared.
