    Bad news for Rajitha and MR.

    BBS is going to contest the presidential election on its own UNLESS MR accepts its proposals which includes a complete stop to UNETHICAL CONVERSIONS, LIMIT NEW MOSQUES, INVESTIGATE JIHADISTS TERRORIST AND DRUG BUSINESS.

    Very good.

    Tamils and Muslims are going to vote for UriNePee more than in the past. Even MOST Christians are also going to vote for them. That is a 20% to 25% block vote. I would say 20%. UNP loyal Buddhists are about 25% (out of 70%). IF BBS can get 11% of Buddhist votes (out of 70%), MR loses.

    MR knows this. So he will come to an agreement with BBS. But BBS should be clever. NO PROMISES AFTER WINNING. Everything must be done BEFORE the election.

    What BBS is doing is dividing the unity among the Sinhalese and Moors of Sri Lanka. Pitting Lanka against our friendly Islamic nations. BBS hardly talks about what Indian terrorists done to us. This commotion makes Sinhalese forget about the Tamil attacks. Who ever is funding the BBS is reaping a good harvest.

    BUT there is a need for BBS. It is getting popular because the govt. has NEGLECTED Buddhists. The ONLY way to beat BBS is winning back Buddhists fully once again. Then BBS becomes USELESS.

    IF NOT for BBS, JIHADISTS would be running the country from Aluthkama to Kalpiddi, Amparei to Pulmoddai and Gampola to Nawalapiddi.

    Remember JHU? In 2004 election JHU contested separately. People said they are UNP traitors trying to DIVIDE the Sinhalese. TRUE. But they were USEFUL in getting the UPFA come to the RIGHT PATH. Otherwise like the UNP the SLFP too would have followed the ceasefire, peace talks, devolution and other BS.

    JHU FIXED the UPFA and called for war which we won.

    Now JHU has become LAP DOGS. Now BBS is doing that mission.

    Sinhalese are afraid to be labelled RACISTS but Tamils and Muslims wear the RACIST label with PRIDE!! SL needs Sinhalese who are proud to be called RACISTS. Tit for tat.

    SLFP and MR DID follow the path of “ceasefire, peace talks, devolution ” until the Rajas were shaken and waken up by the bomb that almost killed Gota. FEAR of death got them to cooperate with JHU and Wimalawansa to fight it out. JHU and Ganasara did a lot of underground work even before this to strengthen the psyche of Sinhala youth, which MR could exploit fully. JHU are not LAPDOGS. They are waiting with patience and doing the right thing at the moment. They are with BBS, not SLFP and MR.

    From the above comments it appears that we are just about to cut the branch we are standing on.
    The only thing that keeps the imperialists from taking over our country is the unity of the Buddhists of this country that kept President Rajapakse in power.
    The Americans and the west would be laughing from both sides the day the Buddhists in this country go leaderless.
    Yes, The Sinhalese and Buddhists have problems and Ven. Gnanasara thero is right in bringing them to the fore but we must be careful as not to cut the nose to spite the face.
    Everyone must try and understand the chaos this country will fall in to the day the imperialists get their dirty hands on it.
    We have enough examples around us to make us cringe in fear.
    Firstly, wise counsel must prevail,anger and frustration can not solve anything and a solution must be found in an orderly manner to remedy the ailing situation and with all these wise people around it shouldn’t be a hard proposition.
    I feel it is time that the Mahanayakes with all the other leading monks come together to save the country from another disaster.

    I think the solution should be to give JITTERS TO MR and bring to him back to the RIGHT TRACK. IF he cannot be brought back, he should be DEFEATED. Because MR is doing the imperial agenda!!

    Another option is to tell MR he has NO future in SL and bring GR to politics. MR goes home and GR comes to his place after an election. Then there will be NO problem winning the election BBS or what.

    As true patriots we should be loyal to the country NOT to MR because I honestly don’t see MR being loyal to the country anymore. I’m hoping against hope he will change, soon.

    AGREE.

    WW is GR’s man. He is trying hard and we should support him.

    (WW too has his weaknesses. WW will not go against the provincial council curse because he benefits from it. But we cannot have PERFECT politicians. So WW is good enough.)

    Hope he succeeds. But so far SLFP has NOT accepted WW’s proposals. They say they have accepted some but WW says NONE has been accepted. A close source to WW told me he has been threatened “not to swell too big to his shoes”. If he does, what happened to PATALI RANAWAKA will happen to him. (Ranawaka was sacked from the ALL IMPORTANT electricity ministry and given a SMALL unimportant ministry for “being too smart”.)

    Latest INSIDE NEWS is GR is trying to come to politics from Colombo district but BR and NR are TOTALLY AGAINST. If GR is not going to come to politics he should field MANY of his men.

    He is not a Jihadist and is NOT the president of the MB-SL.

    That is another person. There are 3 prominent figures with that name in SL.

    WW once went against BBS and now he doesn’t. He is the best of the ROTTEN LOT along with Champika.

    For the purpose of CORRECTING MR (which is the topic WW was dragged in), he is WAY BETTER than MR to do it. IF Rajitha or DMJ or anyone tries to “correct” MR, that is not going to happen.

    Lorenzo is correct; the spokesperson of NFF is different from the other Muslim who too has the same name. In the beginning, I too mistook him for the other. The NFF spokesperson seems to be highly integrated to Sinhala society and doesn’t show any racial indifference. He has studied in a Sinhalese school and speaks good Sinhala. He is the one who was tried to be bribed by another Muslim businessman by giving millions of rupees to work in favour of SF during the last presidential election. But the NFF spokesman didn’t accept that money and handed over the businessman and the entire bribe to the police.

    There is another side to the situation of MR that is not very visible. The day the simple majority in parliament is lost,the all powerful Presidency becomes a lame duck and becomes vulnerable to an impeachment.The only protection is his brother as the Speaker but that too could be lost without the majority. Yes, in such a situation he can dissolve parliament but winning it back will be a tough proposition.
    So, that makes the President a prisoner of his parliamentarians, many of whom we know are for the highest bidder any time the right offer is made. So to nullify any offer that can be made they are given a free reign to make sure they stick with the government.
    He probably thinks too much of the Haig and ICC.
    What needs be done as some one above said to bring him back on the right track and that won’t be difficult provided that he is convinced that he has the necessary support behind him.

    There is a lot of personal attacks in this article. It is highly unlikely BBS Wii be able to unite the Sinhalese and be the ruling party. What we need is unity among the Sinhalese. The writer denigrates our women who are working in the Middle East. I am sure he is aware of the fact that Sinhala students in the West do the same thing that the maids do in the middle east. Again please look at the Indians who are sucking us now and for the last two centuries. SWRD came to power on similar slogans and he was funded by Indian merchants and The Third Eye. The writer seems to be close to BBS, where do they get their funds from?
