THEN –
- We supported the country, and promoted a positive image
- We rushed home after the Tsunami and donated funds
- We spent sleepless nights during the last days of the war
- We prayed for peace
- We heaved a sigh of relief when the terrorists were defeated
- We supported rehabilitation of our soldiers, assisted in the normalization of child combatants
- We helped with projects in the North
- We saw much progress, rejoiced at the development of the country, its security, and its beautification
- We were proud when the foreign press declared Sri Lanka, the #1 holiday destination
- We were upset when certain countries didn’t appreciate our efforts to rid terrorism
- We met US Congressmen to state our case, wrote letters to President Obama, Foreign Relations Committee, UNHRC
- We were proud when President Rajapaksa spoke so eloquently at the UN
NOW-
- We are sad at the state of affairs of the country
- We are angry at the unelected government’s plundering of assets
- We are disturbed by the Foreign Ministry tactics
- We are outraged at clandestine meetings with terrorist groups
- We are nauseated by the way some minority diaspora groups are being wooed and appeased
- We feel left out of any reconciliation efforts
- We are tired of extremists crying, Genocide” by the Sinhalese
- We are appalled at the way the courts and other institutions are exploited
- We are concerned about politicians manipulating a weak and indecisive President
- We are dismayed at appointments of cabinet ministers with ties to convicted criminals in international jails.
- We wish citizens will wake up and fix the chaos and confusion of the last six months
- We hope the voters will reject the Good Governance” Mantra
- We want our country’s sovereignty and pride back- For A Unitary Sri Lanka!

Let us unite and fight Indian imperialism and colonialism. Let us lead and fight for the freedom of others in Indian colonies with them.

Christie,
Can you explain in detail how we fight India. Are you a RAW agent trying to create a war against India so that Sinhalese will be subjected to genocide.

I fully agree with Fran Diaz and endorse his words. I hope the Sri Lankans come to their senses and settle this issue at the polls.
