අනුරාධපුර රැස්වීමට මම ද සහභාගි වීමි. එයට හිටපු මන්ත්‍රීවරුන් සියයකට වැඩි පිරිසක් සහභාගි විණි යැයි කියැවෙයි. එහි සත්‍යාසත්‍යභාවය ගැන මට කිසිවක් කිව නො හැකි ය. ඒ කෙසේ වෙතත් ශ්‍රී ල නි ප හා සංධාන ලේකම්වරු ද විපක්‍ෂ නායකයා ද එහි සිටියෝ ය. ඔවුහු ද කතා කළ අනෙක් ජ්‍යෙෂ්ඨයෝ ද මහින්ද අගමැති අපේක්‍ෂකයා බව පුන පුනා කීවෝ ය. මෛත්‍රිපාල එ ජා පක්‍ෂයේ අවශ්‍යතාව අනුව දිගින් දිගට ම කීවේ මහින්ද සංධානයේ නායකයාවත් අගමැති අපේක්‍ෂකයාවත් නොවන බව ය. ඔහු මහින්දට සංධානයෙන් නාම යෝජනා දීමටත් විරුද්ධ විය. එහෙත් ඔහුට එකින් එක ඒ සෑම අවස්ථාවක දී ම පරාජය හා පරාජය පමණක් හිමි විය. අද මහින්ද සංධාන මැතිවරණ කමිටුව මෙහෙයවන්නා පමණක් නොව අගමැති අපේක්‍ෂකයා ද වෙයි. මෛත්‍රි ආත්ම ගෞරවයක් ඇති අයකු නම් කළ යුත්තේ වාරණයකු (වාරණ නියෝග අස්සේ සැඟවෙන) නොවී ශ්‍රී ල නි ප සභාපති කමෙන් හා පක්‍ෂයෙන් ද ඉල්ලා අස්වීම ය. යළි උපන් ශ්‍රී ල නි පක්‍ෂයේ ඔහුට භූමිකාවක් නැත.
ඇතැමකු කියනු ඇත්තේ අනුරාධපුර රැස්වීමට දිස්ත්‍රික්කයේ සංධාන නායක දුමින්ද දිසානායක සහභාගි නොවීම සංධානයේ බෙදීම පෙන්නුම් කරන බව ය. එහෙත් අනුරාධපුර රැස්වීමේ සිටි කිසිවකුටවත් දුමින්ද කෙනකු ගැන මතකයක් නො වී ය. ඔහුටත් යළි උපන් ශ්‍රී ල නි පක්‍ෂයේ භූමිකාවක්වත් මනාපවත් නැත. එස් බී දිසානායක වැන්නන් ගැනත් කිවහැක්කේ එවැන්නකි. ඔවුන් උන්නා ද මළා ද කියා කිසිවකු ප්‍රශ්න නොකරනු ඇත.
අද ශ්‍රී ල නි පක්‍ෂය මහින්ද රාජපක්‍ෂගේ නායකත්වයෙන් ඉදිරියට යයි. යළි උපන් ශ්‍රී ල නි පක්‍ෂයට යළි උපන් නායකයෙක් වෙයි. ඒ අයෝමය නායකත්වයකි. මහින්ද කොටි පරාජය කිරීමට දුන්නේ නොසැළෙන අයෝමය නායකත්වයකි. මහින්ද හමුවේ රනිල් ද මෛත්‍රිපාල ද නිවටයෝ පමණක් ම වෙති. ඔවුන් කිසිවකුටවත් මහින්ද පැරදවිය නො හැකි ය. ජනාධිපතිවරණයේ දී මහින්ද පෑරදුනේ විජාතික බලව්ගවල බොරු ප්‍රචාරවලට රැවටුණු සිංහල මුහුණක් නැති මුහුණුපොත් තරුණ පිරිසක් හා මුස්ලිම් ආගමිකවාදයේ ආධාරකරුවන් නිසා ය.
ජාතියට නව පණක් දිය හැක්කේ යළි උපන් ශ්‍රී ල නි ප ප්‍රමුඛ සංධානයට ය. එ ජා ප 1948 සිට කර ඇත්තේ බටහිරයන්ට දණ නැමීම හා ඔවුන්ට රට පාවාදීම ය. දූෂණය භීෂණය රජ කර ඇත්තේ ඔවුන්ගේ පාලන සමයෙහි දී බව ඔවුන් වෙනුවෙන් මුදලට වැඩකරන අනුර කුමාර නොකීවාට එ ජා පක්‍ෂයේ තරුණ සංවිධානය වූ ජ වි පෙරමුණ ද දැන ගත යුතු ය. අද වන විට අනුර දිසානායක බටලන්ද අමතක කර ඇත්තේ එදා දිවිදුන් තම පාක්‍ෂිකයන් පාවා දෙමිනි. අද ලෝක හොරා කවුරුවත් නොව ජනතාවට තොරතුරු දැනගැනීමේ අයිතිය වාරණ නියෝග මගින් නැතිකරන බැංකු බැඳුම්කාර රනිල් ය.
රෝසි සේනානායක මහින්දගෙන් අසා තිබුණු ප්‍රශ්නයක් වෙයි. මහින්ද දඬුවම් නොකළ වරදකරුවන් නම් කරන ලෙස ඇය ඉල්ලා ඇත. ඒ රනිල්, චන්ද්‍රිකා, රවි කරුණානායක, ප්රාජිත ආදීන් ය. මහින්ද එහි දී දඬුවම් නොකිරීමෙන් වරදක් කර ඇති බව පැහැදිලි ය. යළි උපන් ශ්‍රී ල නි ප ඒ වරද නිවැරදි කරනු ඇත.

Well said Prof.Nalin. We saw you at Anuradhapura stage and I was thinking why you didn’t address the vast crowd which was there? Anyway your attendance is enough to all MR loving people in this country.You are doing a great service to MR as well as to the country we love.
Do not waste time and energy of yours to answer prostitutes and habitual politicians in the UNP or the Opposition. People like Harrison,One shot,Rosy,and some of the corrupt politicians in the UNP and the Opposition has no decency or experience as good politicians but certainly have foul mouths with little knowledge of politics. They are after power and money and to take revenge from the man who saved my country from ruthless terrorism.
Educate the poor people about UNP crimes and corruptions. Explain the Bond scam and other scams which really happened. Explain the difference between MR and Ranil. Explain the foreign involvement in our politics and what these Foreign backed NGO’s are doing in this country etc. Do not waste time to answer these UNP jokers because they will be defeated for the 30 th time in the coming General election for sure. Let’s celebrate it on the 18th of August 2015. Thank you Prof FOR YOUR COURAGEOUS ARTICLES.

If Sajith Premadasa has any self respect he should either call for legal action against his sister or quit politics.

The only thing I would say Nalin is, don’t rest on one’s laurels; in Jan election time too, wasn’t there huge support at the rallies?As Samaraweera has done, has MR’s camp organized a huge social media brigade to promote MR? Use your time & energy to influence for one. It is said Cameron in UK brought in the man who headed Obama’s election campaign to his camp; this is the man who texted every American on their mobile, Obama for change slogan. Hope you will look into this.MR has got an ugly label with fraud & corruption, so needs a huge media campaign against it. American & UK embassies surely have trained young ones under the guise of courses, to help the opposition.
Give huge coverage to LTTE, a chap caught with cyanide capsules returning to SL!
The other thing I would say is to pull off a big surprise, catch a big fish to our camp;that what happened to MR last time with MS defection. Who ever that may be, near to the polls,be Champika, Ven Ratna,BBS or any big UNP fish. When MR camp is running well,they may be more amenable, send emissaries,then rather than hate & rejection, MR should enrol them.Use your excellent brain leave no stone unturned, for MR’s victory.
