Honoring a Terrorist Organization

Dear Mr. MacLaren:
We are still reeling after the Paris Attack by a Terrorist group, that made an impact on me, since I had being in a 30 year terrorist war that was carried on in Sri Lanka by the Tamil Tigers.
Then I was appalled to learn that you had made a statement in the Ontario Legislative Assembly, on November 27th 2015, hailing the Tamil Tigers, and praising them, and even inviting them to the Assembly. These are the very people who had been supporting the terrorism to go on, from Canada. They funded the LTTE, (Liberation of Tamil Tigers Ealam) that carried out enormous amounts of suicide bombings, and bombing public places etc. The 100,000 people who died, that you mentioned in your statement, was not Tamils alone. They were mostly the Sinhalese, Burghers and Muslims who live in Sri Lanka peacefully. And the birth of Prabhakaran that you hailed, was the leader, who forcefully abducted children from families who were poor, living in the North and then brain washed them to go as suicide bombers.
In this day and age, I am disgusted to think, that you been a MPP for the Province of Ontario, does not know what really goes on. Here there have been terrorism on our door step, with a attack to the Parliament Hill, and you support a Terrorist organization and make them to be a hero.
It was Conservative Party of Canada that banned the LTTE and banned as the terrorist organization. I am simply trying to understand the whole aspect of what has happened here? What if one of the MPP’s made a statement for the Al-Queida leader or the ISIS, do you think the world would take it lightly? NO. The whole world would have jumped on you and you would not have a way of escaping. But what happened in Sri Lanka 30 years, is considered, a minute thing, may be because Sri Lanka does not have oil, and your election was funded by these Tamil Terrorist groups, in return that you would recognize them publicly.
Being a Canadian Sri Lankan I am disgusted with the double standards, that is there among the leaders of this country.

These bloody politicians only think of themselves, and getting re-elected using ethnic votes. This is the very reason why all major political parties pandering to ethnic groups like Tamils, who are cleverly exploiting Canadian political system to maximize their agenda. That is to manipulate parliamentarians to gain support for the LTTE fund raising, etc., in order to establish their dream land, Eelam.
I commend you for writing to these opportunistic politicians and make them realise that not everybody appreciate their cunning tactics and selfish motives..

Politicians are politicians always and everywhere. They are only concerned about how to collect fund for election campaign and votes through their false mouths. No one can expect an honest thinking from any politicians!

Thank you Mr. Munasingha for standing up to these political prostitutes who are willing to sell themselves and their Country for the sake of votes and money. Truth always wins in the end and one day the Canadians will learn the truth about Sri Lanka and the suffering we have undergone for 30 years because of the manufactured grievances of the Tamils.
