Sri Lanka: case of the missing corpus delicti

No amount of propaganda can charge ‘war crimes’ and indict people by creating hybrid ‘war crimes tribunals’ without following due process. There are rules of evidence that even the UNHRC head has to rein in on and his racism simply because he holds a global position needs to stop. Its all well and fine to be running at a tangent claiming ‘genocide’ but these allegations dressed with fancy words needs to produce corpus delicti. Where are the bodies for heavens sake? Where are even the skeletons? Look what happened to the 100,000 claimed to be dead in Kosovo’s ‘genocide’ it turned out to be just a pitiful propaganda blitz to fool the world. LTTE’s case is certainly no different for the same propagandists are at work. President Clinton assured the American people that as many as 100,000 people had been slaughtered. Later the figure was reduced to 10,000. In the end the figure turned out to be less than 2500 (two thousand five hundred) !!!
War crimes experts were called in from the West of course, they were to arrive and exhume ‘hundreds of graves’ – it was described as the world’s worst genocide, plenty of tears were shed and quite a lot of candles were lit for the ‘dead’ too. And yes there were plenty of ‘refugees’ to be ‘witnesses’ with anonymity of course and this is where Sri Lanka’s Office of the Missing Persons are going to really get upto mischief… concealing the truth and ensuring the truth doesn’t come out.. all in the name of good governance of course. Turning to Kosovo, so plenty of stories unfolded.. the ‘victims’ spoke of ‘indiscriminate killings’ ‘missing’ loved one’s – even if they held guns!
Interestingly enough Kosovos ‘witnesses’ turned out to be Western media liars. Nothing was said of NATO’s airstrikes that killed over 5000 people and not many human rights organizations that get their paychecks from the West demanded justice against NATO so can we expect western funded Sri Lankas’ NGOs to behave any different?
Just like Kosovo, Sri Lanka’s case was all about ‘holocausts’ ‘genocides’ ‘ethnic cleansing’ – we are getting the hang of using these terms now… it gets repeated enough! Alas we forgot to mention the documentaries – the books ‘counting the dead’ the panel discussions all bringing in people giving third party data from who? Yep, you guessed right from LTTE sources… now would they give data to make the Sri Lanka army look the good guys? None of these goody reporters came out with Kosovo Liberation Army being trained by CIA and armed by West, none of them mentioned of India training LTTE and other militants either which nullifies Sri Lanka having an ‘ethnic’ problem. The problem is India and the terrorist was LTTE.
5 international legal luminaries determined that Sri Lanka had not committed war crimes and their legal deliberations are available for the Government of Sri Lanka to study. Is their legal summaries to be accepted or will the GOSL accept the howls and wails and evidence-less rants by people associated with the LTTE or paid by vested interests to punish the Sri Lanka Armed Forces and the former Government because the demise of the LTTE ended a very lucrative time they were enjoying while LTTE were blowing up people and property.
There was a wheels within wheels through the LTTE reign for the very sources that benefitted from LTTE are the ones now coming out into the open making wild allegations to punish those that ended their very comfortable lifestyle and agenda.
However, if there is anything called justice in this world as we have not seen in the case of Kosovo and numerous other cases where the lying propaganda have fooled the world – Sri Lanka and Sri Lankans must now stand up and refuse to bow down to the bullying of any UN entity that is calling for hybrid or whatever obnoxious set ups without producing corpus delicti to substantiate their claims.
We should not agree to any set up until the evidence is produced. The anonymous witnesses hiding their identity for 20 years has no legal basis to lock up people in prison and brand a country as committing war crimes. We should all refuse to accept any more of these theatrics by the UN who look the other way to all of the crimes committed by the US and West and happily endorses these crimes under the category of collateral damage while bringing out all the law books against the Asians and Africans only.
We must all stand up and tell the UN that we will not accept any more of its discriminations and racism and illegal and biased justice system.
UN has completely failed the world. It has no moral authority to point any finger leave alone take any country to a court and declare them war criminals. If this government subscribes to the immoral agenda of the UN the world will be laughing at the government for now even the ordinary masses across the world are beginning to realize the lies, false propaganda and disinformation that had fooled them to agree to illegal military interventions, bogus invasion of lands and occupation for all of which the ordinary citizens are having to pay the bills while the companies that instigated these occupations have landed them investment deals and are pocketing all the profits. We must all stand up and say no more.

These are some of the innocent unarmed Kashmiris blown up by the Indian Armed Forces in the Indian Occupied Kashmir within the last 12 days. Most of them were shot between the eyes and heads blown off. Indians are testing their latest weapons for their targeting and ammunitions ability to explode when hit the target.
UN is dead silent. Indian vermin in the US is blocking any pro Kashmiri posting in the internet including Facebook according to news.

Sumanthiran, like other supporters of Tamil separatism, begin their accusations against the Sinhala majority only with the assaults against the Tamil Community in the South.
They conveniently forget that the violence deliberately INITIATED by the Tamil Separatists YEARS BEFORE THAT with hit-and-run raids against Sinhala officials, Sinhala civilians and government facilities.
He forgets to mention that it took nearly 3 years of such murder and mayhem by his beloved “boys”, who the entire Tamil Community …. even in Colombo … quietly applauded, for the pot to finally boil over in July, 1983 when the bodies of those dead soldiers were brought to Colombo.
I applaud INSTEAD the restraint and patience shown by the Sinhala people up to July, 1983 and thereafter over a 30 year period when there was no such violence. Although I also condemn the violence of the July riots, I completely understand the reasons it took place, and the CULPABILITY of Tamil Leaders of the time in not rallying around the Nation to CONDEMN & PREVENT their own people from engaging on violence that triggered it.
They did not do that, and by their SILENCE & INACTION showed that they too shared and supported the RACIST TAMIL SEPARATIST SENTIMENT that soon grew into a full blown civil war …. with horrendous consequences for the three major communities of Sri Lanka.
They believed THEN, as they do NOW, that they can have their own separate Tamils-only cake in Sri Lanka, and eat a share of the Sinhala cake too. They thought that with Indian support they could demolish the Sinhala armed forces, kept forever weak and demoralized by divide and rule politics in Colombo and get their EELAM. They FIGURED WRONG …. because as in the previous 3,000 years of Sri Lankan history, we Sinhalese will NOT ABANDON our Motherland however long it takes to overcome our enemies.
I am sick of these MEALY MOUTHED WEASELS and UNREPENTANT RACIST TRAITORS wailing about their pain & suffering completely ignoring that they brought everything down upon their own heads by being racist, greedy and treacherous. They have to HELD ACCOUNTABLE!
I have had enough of these unrepentant racist murderers egging on, without LEGAL PUNISHMENT, Western Powers to counsel RECONCILIATION which is another code word for APPEASEMENT and giving the terrorists the EELAM they had failed to win through 30-years of unremitting violence and war crimes against both civilians and combatants.
I am sick of the DOUBLE STANDARDS and HYPOCRISY of the Western Powers who, while committing war crimes all over the globe in their war on terror, refuse to let Sri Lanka ….. one of the few developing nations still committed to democracy and human rights, to defend it’s democracy and sovereignty, and enjoy its hard won peace.
These Western Hypocrites wage global war in the name of human rights and drmocracy, to destabilize and change regimes in fa off countries, but REFUSE to SUPPORT & LEAVE ALONE one of the few democracies that has taken firm root in the developing world. They seem hellbent on convert in a democratic Sri Lanka into an anarchy must like Somalia and Libya today.
Instead of being ASSET, democracy is INCREASINGLY becoming a LIABILITY to Sri Lanka’s survival as a unitary sovereign nation.
I TOTALLY REJECT Sumanthiran’s statements posing as an INNOCENT WAILING VICTIM.
He is one of those who permitted, supported and egged on the RACIST Tamil Eelam project from its very inception, through the TNA’s role as the LTTE’s political proxy in Colombo, to the present when he magically finds himself to be the Leader of the Parliamentary Opposition dedicated to using that position to achieve the now defunct EELAM.
I say to him, we will NEVER LET YOU SUCCEED in creating an EELAM in Sri Lanka.
You will only impoverish and further destroy the Tamil Community if you try. You have an opportunity now to change your ways, but every move you make inimical to Sri Lanka’s existence as ONE Nation of ONE People sharing ONE National Destiny will rebound adversely on you and your community in the near future.

Indeed Shenali, the UN sees nothing, hears nothing, does nothing except what its masters tell it to see, hear and do.
I don’t think that the UN has, or should have, any mandate to promote “good governance”, because one man’s good governance is another man’s unwarranted interference and intolerance.
This is the message that a majority of Britons sent to another unelected bureaucracy, the EU, in the recent BREXIT.
It seems that the UN, just like the EU, is continually adopting policies and passing “laws” to perpetuate and expand its control and arrogate more power to itself, to the detriment of its member nations.
I think that the UN, and the EU, should have their wings clipped, and restricted to narrower agenda, specifically approved and sanctioned by the ALL of the member nations, and not just a small elite group in control of it.
The UN now only serves the Western Power Clique. Therefore, Sri Lanka, other Developing Nations, and Russia, China and other emerging powers like Brazil show LEAVE the United Nations and form their own UNION OF NATIONS committed to their cause.
The current UN is now a BLOATED bureaucracy that whitewashes the CRIMES of its largest SPONSORS and works to enforce their GLOBAL NEOCOLONIALIST agenda.
The Afro-Asian faces of UN staffers like the Korean Secretary General Ban Ki Moon, are those of modern-day Uncle Toms who dutifully trot out to serve the Western Neocolonialist cause of their paymasters!

I am afraid, fault lies within SL political establishment for war crime and other BS about tamil issues.
All the data re. final week of war is available and we prepared all the data and documents and Basil came in and shut it down and they are some where in card board boxes. Why ? I suspect there is no money for him for this activity and on bigger picture, all of SL political idiots from both parties thinks, that keep this open is good for their careers and also bring in nice expensive overseas travel.
I know for the fact that MR’s man on this subject ( now with UNP camp) with a foreign wife is always used to jump in for Swiss or European travel and loves talking rubbish when it suit him.
Once he call my private phone line and ask to travel to meet the cabinet, but no detail about my travel or hotel cost.. This is the kind of morons that we have today. Same people were involve to scuttle my plan to go to courts in London with very reputable silk.
Both parties want to keep the war crime and tamil issues as a open wound to denigrate and keep country as a subservient to western national or war interest.
If we are to move forward, we need to write brand new constitution with proper check and balances with independent judicial and public service.
It will never happen since we all know the reasons .

Thanks you for telling the truth Sirih. That is my experience as well. All those who genuinely tried to save Sri Lanka’s good name end up getting cheated by the same lot.
Completely agree with you on the politician you named. Unfortunately, he is back with Mahinda after 20 months. Mahinda removed him from all election work in November 2014 after realising the blunders he caused and the resultant defeat that was looming. After 20 months, he is back in the scene to destroy Mahinda again.
My fear is uniformed soldiers that sacrificed so much for the nation will end up paying for these blunders as well and we should save as many soldiers as we can from possible war crimes charges (when the trials begin someday) by deflecting those charges to where they belong.

Mangala must be replaced by a patriotic foreign minister. Actually Ranil, Sirisena, CBK traitors must be replaced too. However Mangala must be replaced as soon as possible. A country’s government should first and foremost look after the country’s security. sovereignty, territorial integrity and in the case of a small country such as Sri Lanka its unitary status. Mangala has betrayed Sri Lanka by accepting the UNHRC resolution which no country with any integrity will accept. Mangala must realise that those LTTE terrorists who massacred the citizens of this country for over 26 years simply because they wanted a large chunk of this island for themselves, illegally, that they should be dealt with in a very careful manner without betraying the security. sovereignty, territorial integrity and in the case of a small country such as Sri Lanka its unitary status, even if extremely powerful forces such as the US,UK, EU, Canada, Sweden, Norway and India are behind the LTTE terrorists. In addition, we must place forth the argument that those who settled in the island quite recently only during the past few hundred years i.e. the Sri Lankan Tamils who are only but 11.2% of the population do not have any rights whatsoever to demand over 28% of the land area, 66% of the coastline and 66% of the vast ocean resources which belong to Sri Lanka. This message should be conveyed to the TNA, the separatist terrorists and those who support them i.e. the US,UK, EU, Canada, Sweden, Norway and India as soon as possible so that they understand our position. This is the task of a foreign minister. Mangala therefore has betrayed Sri Lanka and must go. Sri Lanka cannot afford large self ruling entities which are illegal anyway since this island as a whole belong to all its people in total. It is the foreign minister’s task to covey this message to everyone concerned.

The missing persons commission, the name is a misnomer. it should be called ‘those combatants on all sides who died in the war i.e. Sri Lankan Forces, Police Force. Civil Defence Forces, IPKF, Tamil Armed Groups against the LTTE and the LTTE terrorists themselves and whose bodies have not be found’. Therefore the name itself is wrong and invented by the UNHRC to tarnish the image of the armed forces of Sri Lanka.
The missing persons commission to date has receive 24,000 complaints from 1983-2009 period. Of this number over 5,000 are regarding missing Sri Lankan Forces members, whereabouts unknown, almost certainly executed by the LTTE terrorists. Over 12,000 complaints are against the LTTE itself recruiting young persons by coercion. Therefore over 70% of complaints are against the LTTE itself which amounts to over 17,000 complaints. The rest of the complaints are I am sure about the whereabouts of LTTE combatants or terrorists who died while fighting but whose bodies have not been found.
My question is, why cannot the UNHRC the US,UK, EU, Canada, Norway, Sweden and India accept that Sri Lankan Forces, Police Force, Civil Defence Forces, IPKF, Tamil Armed Groups against the LTTE and the LTTE terrorists themselves died fighting in this war and leave it at that. What is the point in looking for these combatants now? Why is it that the UNHRC the US,UK, EU, Canada, Norway, Sweden and India never ever talk about the over 35,000 Sri Lankan Forces, Police Force, civil Defence Force members who died in the war? or the 1,200 IPKF members or the over 2,000 Tamils Armed Groups against the LTTE members who died in the war? or the over 6,000-7,000 Sinhala civilians and even Muslims civilians who were massacred by the LTTE? or the around (my estimate) over 3,000 Tamil civilians massacred by the LTTE?
Why is it that the UNHRC the US,UK, EU, Canada, Norway, Sweden and India is not concerned about the over 10,000 Sri Lankan Forces members permanently disabled by the war, or the over 23,000 Sri Lankan Forces members both temporarily and permanently disabled by the war? or the over 136,000 Sri Lankan Forces members who were injured due to the war?
Why is it that the UNHRC the US,UK, EU, Canada, Norway, Sweden and India not concerned about the over 65,000 Sinhala people and over 75,000 muslims ethnically cleansed from the North?
Why is it that the only the around 35,000 LTTE terrorists who died inclusive of Prabhakaran are the concern of the UNHRC the US,UK, EU, Canada, Norway, Sweden and India? Perhaps this missing persons commission should answer that question first.

Even if the constitution will be changed since this idiotic government follows whatever instructions the US, UK, EU, Norway, Canada, Sweden, India, the TNA and the separatist terrorists tell it to do, we must ensure that the unitary status of the country is not compromised in any way whatsoever. The clause in the 13th amendment which says that ‘the North and the East is the homeland of the Tamil speaking people’ must be deleted since it is totally false when looking at the history of the island. This clause must be replaced with the clause ‘the entire island is the homeland of all its peoples’. The provision which allows for the merger between two provinces should be deleted. As much subjects from the concurrent list should be included in the national list. Under no circumstances should land, police or fiscal powers be given to provincial councils. All of us need to ensure that the above happens since if the system reverts back to a parliamentary system and the presidential system is scrapped, the only way to ensure the unitary status of the country is the make sure that the provincial councils do not get any more powers than they have at present. The Public Security Ordinance should not be amended in anyway as well. If any provincial councils acts out of line, the head of government should dissolved such a provincial council and direct rule by the head of government should be enforced under those circumstances.

I would please urge any person who has any influence whatsoever with Ranil, Mangala, Sirisena, CBK to let them know that these Western Countries i.e. the US,UK, EU, Canada, Sweden, Norway and India will only back off if Sri Lanka takes a very firm stance and refuses to carry out this unjust UNHRC resolution. Sri Lanka must do this without any fear since I am sure if Sri Lanka takes a very firm stance and refuses to carry out this unjust resolution the UNHRC, the US,UK, EU, Canada, Sweden, Norway and India will back off. I can guarantee that will happen. So it is up to Sri Lanka or rather Ranil, Mangala, Sirisena, CBK whether they are going to place our Sri Lankan armed forces in jeopardy for crimes they did not commit or whether they are going to defend the country’s armed forces and the country’s sovereignty, independence, freedom, integrity, unitary status etc. by refusing to carry out this unjust UNHRC resolution which no country on this planet earth with any integrity will carry out. However, if they keep complying with whatever unjust demands are made by the US,UK, EU, Canada, Sweden, Norway and India, they will have to keep complying with those unjust demands at the expense of Sri Lanka breaking up into pieces and placing the Sri Lankan people’s security in jeopardy. Sri Lanka will end up being partitioned too.
