The controversial leader insisted that EU members states were actually supporting ISIS and other terrorist organisations as part of their humanitarian” efforts.
He also accused Europe of being politically weak and following their masters” in the United States.
Speaking to Belgian broadcaster VRT in Damascus, the President al-Assad said: The EU is supporting terrorists in Syria from the very beginning.
Under different titles; humanitarians, moderates and so on. Actually, they were supporting al-Nusra (al-Qaeda in Syria) and ISIS from the very beginning, they were extremists from the very beginning, so they cannot destroy and build at the same time.

There must be a sinister reason for the western countries to work against secular Assad. Perhaps to help the gulf nations to put a pipe line,destaberlize the country for Israelis to expand.
as I maintained that taking religion serious can be lethal as seen in Syria as the foolish idiots are divided on religious lines and killing one another.
Unlike in SL Assad is not playing the religious game but the enemies have taken that for their battles. Hope the Russians will hit hard at the terrorists which is a sinister making of the west,espesially US.

Syrian war is not because Assad is a bad president. The reason for the war is to remove Assad, because he is the stumbling block in the way of the oil pipe line, rather an LNG Liquified Natural Gas line. This pipe line is to go through Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Lebanon and Turkey to Europe. Presently Europe is dependent on Russia for its energy. If Assad is removed the pipeline is constructed, Russia is economically defeated, Europe and America become the Lords of the Universe.
This is why Putin put the entire Russian might to keep Assad intact. Well done Putin, well done Assad. Jayawewa! Give the dirty NWO New World Order their lesson of a lifetime.
