Authorities have suspended all internet services in the three districts of Srinagar, Budgam and Gandarbal where voting started on Sunday for the parliamentary by-elections.Both mobile internet and fixed line broadband connectivity were suspended in the three poll-bound districts which constitute Srinagar-Budgam parliamentary constituency.”

Though this election has been held in India Held Kashmir where voters expressed their rejection of the rule by India, it is clear indication that India needs to rethink about the strategy.

This may be a good lesson learnt for Sri Lankan, all over the island .When you peruse daily new items and other articles in the papers, and one may note that obnoxious behaviour of our politicians may lead to a similar situation in our country refuse to vote to any one citing the unhappiness about the main stream politics.

Large scale corruption ,nepotism ,abuse of power ,perks demanded by all the  Politian’s such as expensive cars ,salary hikes when the poor people cannot afford a daily meal  ,health service deteriorating ,local politics has become a big business ,people may decide not to exercise their universal franchise .

What will happen if the Northerners refuse to vote for anyone at the nest election and the East follow suit ?

Rather than resorting to violent action to topple the government, people may decide that this is the best cause of action to teach both ruling party and opposition that they hate parliament demo ( Crazy)cracy and want  to have a Benevolent Dictatorship” ???
