Now we have these politicians either arrested or facing an arrest warrant.
1. At least 1 UNP LG Councillor (CMC)
2. At least 1 JVP contestant for LG elections (CMC)
3. Deputy mayor of Negombo MC from SLPP
4. Former mayor of Wattala MC from SLPP. Arrest warrant.
This shows how far the menace has spread within the grassroots levels of governance. Of course there are bigger fish at the top and they are above the law. All 3 parties looking to contest the presidential election need their votes. So no one wants them arrested.

@Dilrook,
How about Governor Hizbullah ( UFPA) ?
Al long as Sirisena hold National Security he will never be a suspect ?
