Coronavirus patients in Sri Lanka crosses 5,000

Total number of Covid-19 cases reported in Sri Lanka exceeds the 5,000 mark (5,038); 3328 recoveries & 1,697 still receiving treatment.

Brandix Cluster update : 145 more coronavirus infected persons reported – Country total crosses 5,000

Another 145 from Minuwangoda Brandix cluster tested positive for Covid-19.

Among them 48 are from quarantine centres & 97 are close contacts.

The country total has crossed 5,000 cases.
