Voted in favour NOT expecting any benefits from the Government – MP Diana Gamage (Video)

SJB National list MP Diana Gamage said that she voted in favour of the 20th Amendment to the Constitution NOT expecting any benefits from the Government.

However, SJB General Secretary MP Ranjith Madduma Bandara states that disciplinary action will be taken against SJB National List MP Diana Gamage who voted in favour of the 20th amendment.

Diana Gamage was a National List MP for the SJB. 

SJB MPs’ Diana Gamage, Aravind Kumar, Ishak Rahman, M.S.Tawfeek, Fizer Casim, Nazeer Ahmad & S.M. Raheem voted in favour of the second reading of the 20th amendment to the constitution.

The third reading of the 20th Amendment to the Constitution was passed with amendments with a 2/3 majority in Parliament. 

156 Voted in favour and 65 voted against.
