අධිකරණ අමාත්‍ය අලි සබ්රි විහාර හා දේවාලගම් පනත පුද්ගල නීතියක් බව පවසමින් පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේදී කළ ප්‍රකාශය සම්බන්ධයෙන් කඩිනම් පියවර ගන්නැයි මහා සංඝරත්නය ජනාධිපති ගෝඨාභය රාජපක්ෂට ලිපියක් යොමු කරමින් ඉල්ලා සිටිනවා.
අදාළ ලිපියේ පිටපතක් කථානායකවරයා වෙත ද යොමු කරමින් මහ සංඝරත්නය ඉල්ලා සිටින්නේ අමාත්‍යවරයාගේ ප්‍රකාශය පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේ හැන්සාඩ් වාර්තාවෙන් ඉවත් කරන ලෙසයි.
The Maha Sangha has sent a letter to President Gotabaya Rajapaksa requesting him to take immediate action regarding the statement made by the Minister of Justice in Parliament stating that the Temples and Shrines Act is a personal law.
The Maha Sangha also sent a copy of the letter to the Speaker requesting that the Minister’s statement be removed from the Hansard report in Parliament
