පාලකයන් සිදුකරන දූෂණය, නාස්තිය සහ බලය අවභාවිතය එළිදරව්වීම සහ එයට එරෙහිව ක්‍රියා කරන පිරිස බිහිවීම වැළැක්වීමට විචාරශීලී ජනතාවක් බිහිවීම ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ නීතියෙන්, අධ්‍යාපනයෙන් සහ පාලනයෙන් වළක්වනු ලබුවත් එයම කොරෝනා ව්‍යසනයේදී පාලකයන්ට පාරාවලල්ලක් වී ඇත.
විචාරශීලී බහුතර ජනතාවක් ඇති රටවල කොරෝනා ව්‍යසනය සහ ඒ ආශ්‍රිතව පැනනගින ගැටලු පාලනය කර ගැනීම පහසු වුවත් ලංකාව වැනි විචාරශීලීත්වය අවම මට්ටමක ජනතාවක් සිටින රටවල එයට ඇත්තේ අඩු අවස්ථාවකි.
විචාරශීලීත්වයෙන් යුත් ජනතාව දුෂ්කර කාලයේදී පාලකයන්ට සහාය දක්වන නමුත් යුක්තිය, සමානත්මතාවය සහ සාධාරණය නොමැති සමාජයක විචාරශීලී ජනතාවක් බිහිනොවන අතර තමන් ගැන සහ තමන්ගේ කණ්ඩාමේ වාසිය ගැන පමණක් සිතන ජනතාවක් බිහි වෙයි.
දැන්වත් යුක්තිය, සමානත්මතාවය සහ සාධාරණය ඇති කරන සමාජයක් ගොඩ නගමු…!

President Gotabaya came to power with so much promise and hope to many but is a disappointment to even to his strongest supporters. His close association with intellectuals, and professionals before the elections gave many of us the hope he will form a government with many of them in key cabinet positions and get rid of those uneducated corrupt and the old guard. Now it is obvious who is in control, the old Rajapaksa brigade. The mentality the Rajapaksas are the royal family is an illusion and it destroyed Mahinda’s government in 2015 and certainly destroy Gota’s chances in 2024 and bring in another My3 to take the country backwords. Namal Baby is nowhere close to Mahinda just like Sajith to his dad. It is obvious Mahinda is determined to destroy Gota because of his intention to contest the next election. I know Gota is keen to protect the 2/3 rd majority by not upsetting Mahinda and the old, corrupt and uneducated goons from the ministry. But if he does not act quickly, he too suffer the same fate as Mahinda did in 2015.
