ඇයි පාලකයෝ /මේ බුද්ධිමතුන්ගෙන් ප්‍රයෝජන නොගන්නේ ?

ඉතාම වැදගත් සාකච්ඡාවක්….මේවාගෙන් රජය උගත යුතු පාඩම් ගොඩාක් තියෙනවා. ඉන් වඩාත් වැදගත්ම දේ නම්,.. රටක මූලික පැවැත්ම රඳවාගැනීම වෙනුවෙන් ගන්නා තීරනවලදි මෙවන් විශය උගත් ස්වාධීන බුද්ධිමතුන්ගෙන් උපදෙස් ගත යුතු බවයි. නමුත් සිද්ධවෙන්නේ තම “පාක්ශික” උගතුන්ගේ හඬට පමනක් සවන් දීමයි. ඇමතිවරයා උගත්, බුද්ධිමතෙක් නොවුනත් ඔහුට උපදෙස් දෙන්න ඕන අය හඳුනා ගත යුතුයි.

The entrenched Administrators are the stumbling block for all governments. Their main aim is to keep their posts, priviledges and the continuation of their kind in perpetuity. It is easy to see that they hold back all projects that would not bring dividends to their wellbeing and continuity in their jobls. They also see to it that only those who come through the SLAS remain in positions of power. Any outsiders are sabotaged even before they settle down on their new jobs.
The main reason that most of the Sri Lanka intelligentsia are out of the island and residing in foreign lands is due to this impediment the Sri Lanka Administration Service – SLAS. Even though the President had in mind to given due recognition to the professionals, this is not happening as it should be. Likely virus is the SLAS! Left to their own devices, they will keep Sri Lanka mired in the quagmire of outdated ARs and FRs for the foreseeable future!
Another 70 years is easy peasy with spineless politicians in power who almost always give into this virus the SLAS and agree to live and let live!
