Court issues order preventing protesters from entering key economic areas in Colombo

Court issues an order preventing protesters from entering several roads including York Street, Bank Street, Chatham Street and also preventing them from forcibly entering or damaging state or official buildings in Fort Police Division on Saturday 28 May.
The court documents state that it has been informed or a planned protest on Saturday 28 at 2.00pm from the Kollupitiya junction to several key economic areas such as the World Trade Centre, Bank of Ceylon, Central Bank of Sri Lanka, Presidential Secretariat, Ports Authority, Police Headquarters, Ministry of Finance, Presidents house and several other key areas.
Therefore court has given an order restraining them from entering to Chaithya road & Janadhipathi Mawatha from the N S A Roundabout, Ceramic junction to York Street, Lady Bastian Mawatha, Mudalige Mawatha, Hospital Street, Bank street, Baron Jayatilake Mawatha, Chatham Street and Canal Road on 28 May.
