The procession of the Sacred Omniscient Relics of Deegawapiya Stupa unearthed from the Deegawapiya site during excavations and the Crest-Gem, which is currently on island-wide public veneration, recently arrived in Matale, allowing devotees to pay their homage.
Accordingly, following the exposition of these sacred Omniscient Relics at Bambawa Rajamaha Vihara in Galewela on 15 and 16 May, arrangements have been made for the exposition at several other areas of Matale district for public veneration.
Thereupon, arrangements have been made for the exposition of these sacred Omniscient Relics and the Crest-Gem at Dambulla Athuparayaya Vihara on May 17 and 18, at the Naula Nathissa Rajamaha Vihara on 19, at Matale Aluvihara on 20 and 21 and at Matale Dharmaraja Piriven Vihara from May 22 to 27.
Hence, the devotees have the opportunity to support the restoration work of the Deegawapiya Stupa by making financial contributions while worshiping the Sacred Omniscient Relics and Crest Gem of the Deegawapiya Stupa.
