Businessman files petition to prevent calling of Presidential Election

A businessman has filed a fundamental rights (FR) petition seeking an order to prevent the calling of a Presidential Election until the Supreme Court delivers its interpretation on the date of the presidential poll. The petition was filed by entrepreneur C.D. Lenawa.
The petition requests an interim order to prevent the holding of the presidential election within the currently scheduled period until the court delivers its interpretation on the date of the next presidential election
