I am amazed at why the United Nations organisation not brought any charges of ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”War CrimesƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ on America. These ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”¹…”War CrimesƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ have been committed over a period of half a century and it continues to this very day. I am wondering if any of the Human Rights organizations (HRW would do) and specifically anyone in the UN could kindly answer why America has not been made to account war crimes it has perpetrated on the Muslim world and in Asia. Some of the war crimes US have committed are:
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚· War on Iraq over fraudulent claims of WMD and the invasion of a sovereign nation. No one has been accounted for the loss of lives on this war based on deceit and greed.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚· Aiding and abetting the Taliban movement and creating the world a dangerous place to live in.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚· Loss of innocent human lives in Afghanistan.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚· Illegal detention of Muslims in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba without any legal representation for the inmates kept in torturous conditions.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚· Using chemical weapons (napalm) on the Vietnamese people.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚· Using nuclear weapons (WMD) on the Japanese people.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Why has the UN and its Human Rights organs has maintained a deafening silence over AmericaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s war crimes?
I would appreciate an answer from the addressed parties please.
ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Kind regards,

A very good point. In fact, I have been writing to HRW and AI on a regular basis to get them into action on war crimes and atrocities committed by these great ‘Western Democracies’ but it appears these ‘humanitarian spokespersons’ do not consider these acts as war crimes. It appears there are different rules for masters and a set of different rules for the slaves!

The reason why no action has been brought against the US for war crimes and crimes against humanity is very clear – the double standards employed by the international community, more particularly, the ‘big’ powers.
Whilst the US now seeks to censure (and even take action against) Sri Lanka, its own conduct in various conflicts represents a sad catalogue of abuses. Among others, we recall
• The dropping of the A bombs over Hiroshima and Nagasaki
• The use of chemical weapons in Vietnam, the effect of which continue
• Various bombings and military activity elsewhere in South East Asia. Part of that legacy is that even today – so many years after the US have gone from the area – landmines continue to explode in places like Cambodia, taking away life and limb of even children on their way to school.
• The Gulf War – where the type of weapons used even affected some of the US and allied military personnel there.
• The enormous civilian casualties in the Iraq war
The US has no moral right to lecture to others about human rights, war crimes and crimes against humanity. But don’t hold your breath for a response. You see, all nations are equal but some are more equal than others!

The main and only reason why UN has not brought any charges against USA-;
USA OWNS UN!

HRW and AI represent selective human rights of it’s customers. They don’t represent people of Sri Lanka or world. If you pay large sums of money , they don’t care if you are a crook or a terrorist. They will do anything to protect your rights even if you violate human rights of others. That is thier mission. No international body should bring thier reports as independent against Sri Lanka, since they are funded by the same people who fund the terrorists in Sri Lanka.
USA is not a bad country. But there are some currupted politicians who are funded by terrorists to act against Sri Lanka.
These currupted politicians are fed with lot of lies and misinformation to gether with lot of money to come to bad conclusions of Sri Lanka. The non terrorist supporting community , which is the majority ,should get to gether and educate US the truth about Sri Lanka. First we should know what lies they are feeding these officials.
