JHU does NOT have 29 provincial council members.
TOTAL PC members from JHU is only 4.

Hela Urumaya will go to hell for their cowardliness on 9th Januaray. Revengeful Patali has to decide good and bad before it’s too late. Follow Gamampila and serve the country of your birth rather than joining the bad and ugly guys.

Udaya Gammanpila should know how many JHU PC members through out the country better than you. All of them contested as common government candidates. You wouldn’t know.
By the way did you read Udayan on 15th December 2014 where the top traitor Champika Ranawake promised Tamils in the north that he will put a stop to military presence in the North and East when they come to power. This was also published on Weerakesari on the same day but in some mild form.
Ha Ha Now I know Why you are also supporting Common Sirisena and JHU

The above article says provincial council members.
It is actually local government members belonging to JHU.

Lorenzo, your slip is showing!
December 17th, 2014 at 3:41 pm
Actually JHU has only 2 PC members!
Others must be JUST UNELECTED members of the party.
It is like Tissa Attanayaka crossed over. NO VOTES. He is a national list MP.

NMY,
I read Uthayan but NO SUCH THING is mentioned there! Obviously it is in Tamil, not English.
According to admission of the current president the north is already demilitarized. Nothing more to do.

A few months ago I was in Jaffna, Kilinochchi, Trinco and the Sri Lankan military and police are visible every where and keeping control of law and order. President is correct, areas are demilitarised, there are no battle tanks and heavy guns. Jaffna witnessed the best Vesak celebration this year, with fully participation of Tamil soldiers and Sinhala soldiers.
But TNA wants us to pack up and come back to Sinhala areas. JHU has negotiated to support that in exchange of their vote bank.
I think this argument is very simple and I am sure you can understand it.
By the way, don’t be so blind, Tissa Attanayaka had to give up his position in the Kandy district to facilitate Muslims who crossed over. Tissa Attanayaka still controls the grass root branches of UNP island wide. Couple of Days ago he challenged Ranil to show that Local UNP branches are supporting common Sirisena

NMY,
Agree with everything except these.
“Sri Lankan military and police are visible every where”
FALSE. I was in Jaffna a few months ago (after Vesak) and NOT a soul to be seen. My relatives still live there and they say now there is NO military presence at all. They are in a VERY FEW barracks.
“JHU has negotiated to support that in exchange of their vote bank.”
TNA does NOT have a vote bank. Tamil people vote for it (or any other) at general and provincial elections based on who is MOST RACIST. As for SINHALA ONLY presidential elections, TNA has no control. Even LTTE had no control. That was why LTTE got people to BOYCOTT the election in 2005.
“Tissa Attanayaka still controls the grass root branches of UNP island wide.”
NOT TRUE. IF Tissa Attanayaka still controls the grass root branches of UNP, it must be true for SLFP as well. My3 as SLFP GS should control grass root branches of SLFP. Not the case.

You may be correct on normal days, but when I went to Jaffna, it was one of these Mahaveer days. Military was out anticipating some troubles. and Vesak celebration with exhibition, Vesak pandels and religious musical concerts etc were organised by the military. So military was very conspicuous.
December 17th, 2014 at 8:29 pm
That is correct NMY.
But in my view (politics apart) military presence is needed every day in large numbers.
Then no one will even think of ATTEMPTING trouble. DETERRENCE is better than prevention or control.
BTW where is Ananda? Are you in SL?
Will join you soon but on the other camp (the winning one)! Pity I can’t do the house to house thing. My African looks will put off people (outside the north and east) from voting for My3 (I think). People in the south only like actor like politicos. So I will do some behind the stage work.
